After a very long drive, with a three year old, my very first time driving a 25foot Mercedes RV, I…read morewas greeted with a kind smiling face. Even though it was after 7pm, and I had zero idea how to hook up everything, Mike came to the rescue, and spent time telling me how to connect everything. Our lady host is amazing, so kind and patient. Thank you. This 55+ resort, was kind enough to let me (40ish) and my 3 year old, stay. Thank you thank you! We're here to see my Marine son.

We have a new '22 RV and unfortunately our awning is on recall so we can't use it for shade - we…read morepurchased a new small 4 person tent to hang out in and play games away from the sun and flys. No rules stating this is a problem. But Sandy either really was offended by our tent or maybe the color of my partner's skin. Hard to determine, but when we asked to extend our stay, she said they didn't have any tent sites available. Strange comment because this is an RV park and they don't have tent sites. Then she said they were booked through first part of January. I said well maybe we'll check in mid January to see if there were any spots available. She said they were booked through February then she added that they were actually booked through April. I got the hint. We're not welcome here. The other weekend manager, Sandy #2 the nice one as she's known in the park, saw us packing up and said she would find us a site. She did. Suddenly they were not booked through April. We were told the tent offended the first manager. We decided to leave since we were not welcomed. We will never be back. This was the worst experience we've ever had at an RV "Resort." People of color beware. 1/19/23 - visited the place today b/c Amazon incorrectly sent our package there and noticed there were at least 7 unoccupied spaces. Will be following up with @goodsam since they're members. Maybe they can do something so others don't have terrible experiences.

For a smaller park it is very nice. Not a whole lot of amenities, but you get what you paid for and…read moreit is very clean. We only spent a week here, but we were ready to leave because we were so tired of the Canadians talking about our president, the tariffs and the dollar. It was nonstop and continuous, and most of the time unfriendly. They have created a divide between their American friends at the park to the point where several of the Americans are thinking about not coming back because they don't want to deal with this. The park is also offering a 20% discount for Canadians to come back. They are not offering that to the Americans... Seems a little unfair. I guess my suggestion for the Canadians is they don't have to come here. It's none of their business who the majority of this country voted for And it's not our fault their dollar is weak. That's been going on for years. If you don't like it stay home.

Cindy and Don were just amazing! They gave us a ride on their golf cart to the lemon grove to watch the sunset..it was so beautiful. The pools look amazing but I had a fresh tattoo so I couldn't get in one...womp womp. The thing to do though is pickle ball! Lots of people playing pickle ball for sure! Pet friendly with a dog run. Rec room that is also their cafe! And the food was actually pretty decent and reasonably priced. I almost forgot to mention the grounds man who led us to our space on his bike! He was a southern man with a hippie personality. Loved his accent and he was very helpful. We will for sure be returning the next time we're in Yuma!!!!
