I enjoyed my trip to Fareway. Some prices were pretty good, some were a bit high IMO, but overall you can find some good reasonable items here. They had some sales on soda which came in handy. But the highlight here for me was the meat sticks I got back near the meat deli. I noticed 2 brands and I asked one of the stocker guys which one he thought was good - and he recommended Pulaski's. He was so nice about it he even went back to ask his coworkers in the deli what they preferred, and 3 of them came out and all of them agreed to get the Pulaski's. One guy even gave very specific feedback as to the flavors, but the overwhelming consensus was they were big fans of this brand. Well they were all spot-on correct! In fact I did a beef stick comparison throughout my week here and in Rochester, finding anything local and unique. I ended up getting about 5 to 6 different brands at various places. And in the end the best one hands down was Pulaski's from Fareway. I wanted to go back and get more but didn't have the time. They still have the thing here where the person will walk with you and your car out to your car and load up your groceries for you, no tip required, a very courteous service if you need that help. Since my dad lives only five minutes from here this would definitely be one of my go to places to shop.
