Sink into one of these, accompanied by an excellent cup of tea, crusty buttery croissant with fresh made grass-fed cow cream and admire tons of fun little Tchotchkes and handmade crafts, many of which are for sale. Just like my wife's "White Linen", we could not have been happier with our cocktails! Also, it just so happened that Wednesdays are "Pizza Night" so we went to the pizzeria/mini grocer connected to The Coach House and ordered our fresh, delicious, pizzas that were delivered to us back at the bar. The home is very clean and Zell greeted us warmly. The room we had was large (#5) and had a large bed with 2 twins. The shower was great. There was a hot water pot with tea and coffee. The internet, because of their location, works only downstairs in the main room. There was a black wood burning stove roaring and a nice view out the windows where we would eat breakfast. Liam talked to us a bit I. The evening. Breakfast was Irish with the sausage and black and white pudding. I don't care for it. The woman that served did not understand much English but she was kind and cordial. There was yogurt, cheese, ham, cereal and juices. Overall, I'd stay there again.

Located just 15 minutes walking from the visitor Centre of Glendalough, the two owners will welcome you in the best way possible. The Old Coach House is not quite as old and traditionally Irish as I might have liked - for one thing the hosts are very nice but they're not locals. It has been nicely done out. Our room was a bit small, but it was clean and everything was good quality, so it was still a pleasant place to be. There's a good roaring fire to enjoy downstairs. It's easy to get out for good walks from here, the hosts were very helpful telling us about good trails to find, including the mines. Just down the road is Avoca, known to many of us as Ballykissangel.

The view from the property is unbelievable. The hosts are the most kind and gracious people. We we're traveling using public transport only and Susan and Desmond were so helpful, looking up schedules, locating the best boarding spots, and even going to far as to give us a lift into Waterford to further verify our transportation options. Our room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Ireland. Susan even makes her own vegan sausage. if you ever find yourself in Irelands southeast coast, you should go out of your way to stay at Samuel's Heritage. You won't regret it.

My wife and I just got back from our first ever trip to Ireland. We flew into Dublin, spent a few…read morenights in Kilkenny, then bounced around most of the country for the rest of the week, staying in B&B's most of the way (save two nights in a hotel in Kilkenny). This was our first B and B experience ever, and the first of four on this trip. First, let me just say that the Samuels Heritage is beautiful. Their location, the views, the home itself, are all amazing. The place is VERY well kept, clean and perfectly appointed. Our room included a double and twin beds, a great bathroom, and was very nicely decorated and presented. Susan met us upon arrival, and other than my own lack of understanding of B and B's, was extremely helpful. Breakfast was great the next morning, and given our "quite compressed" timelines, we didn't have too much time to linger around and stay. We have full Irish breakfast, lots of cereal and fruit options, GREAT Coffee and tea, and just excellent service all in all. Susan goes a long way to make every effort and consideration, and we hope to be back again someday - - and I really can't say enough about the location and facility itself. The first, and quite easily the best stay of our trip!

My family has two girls ages 12 & 10 yrs. old and this farm with the horses, pig, goats, chickens and beautiful lawn was a big highlight of the entire trip. The owners couldn't be nicer. The rooms were darling and very clean. The breakfast was made to order by Ann Marie and SHE IS A GOOD COOK!! My family visited last August and we were soooo glad we did. Despite all of this, our hostess Eimear accommodated our tardiness and was very pleasant throughout the whole experience. That's reason enough to book this homey B&B, with the comfortable rooms and ideal location (along with metered parking nearby). The B&B sits right on the River Nore minutes away from a very convenient pedestrian bridge to downtown Kilkenny. The rooms are modest, with comfortable double beds and private bathrooms. The breakfast is delicious and made to order from the menu at the tables. Very much a mom and pop vibe, as Eimear made our breakfast (her husband is a musician we heard play at the Kyteler's Inn the night before - a small world indeed). The place is cash only, so be sure to have enough for your stay - if not, there are ATMs across the aforementioned pedestrian bridge. Overall, when I come back to Kilkenny I'm coming back to Bridge View B&B, and I promise this time not to be so late.

The place was spotless and we were lucky enough to have our own bathroom. Location was nice and not too far away from downtown and quiet enough to get a good night sleep. The beds!! Are very comfortable and we loved the complimentary breakfast in the morning. One of the saddest parts of the trip was needing to leave this B&B. Totally made this vacation worthwhile and enjoyable. We plan to return and stay here at our next visit to Ireland.

Beautiful B&B owned by 3 brothers who bought and refurbished the place in memory of their late mother (Marie) hence the name, Marie's Bed & Breakfast! All three brothers are on the property and very attentive and helpful! Beautiful B&B with lovely rooms and bathroom!Also, the whole place is so clean!! We got the twin bed room with the garden view and private bathroom/shower. Very relaxing and friendly environment. Literally, can't think of anything that I would want or need. We mentioned that we were planning on taking a cab into central dublin downtown for tours and they coordinated and called a taxi/cab for us for every day!! The rooms and bathroom was cleaned every day when we left for our excursions. And it's always so nice and welcoming to be back after a long day. Clean shower, and comfortable beds are what makes it even more memorable to a great vacation. If you have questions they will answer it! Need a good game plan for a trip in town? Done!
