Short Version: We used them twice, and they were Awesome! I highly recommend. Long Version: Back in December, we had originally booked Rocket Limo (aka Rockets Limousine & Towncar Services) for a one way, private transportation from IAH to our hotel in Galveston for our cruise. On March 25th, we had arrived for our cruise in IAH, and immediately we saw a man in a suit waiting for us with a sign in the luggage area. And that was when we met Ahmad, a friendly gentleman who immediately helped us with our luggage to his new, very clean, black Toyota minivan. And with 4 adult, 2 kids, 2 umbrella strollers, 6 checked luggages, and 6 backpacks, we had plenty of room. Ahmad even had small, cold bottles of water in his minivan waiting for us with no additional charge. The ride itself was smooth and Ahmad gave us a small tour along the way. He even offered to stop anywhere along the way, for any essentials or food. We arrived at our hotel, where Ahmad helped us out of our vehicle and helped us with our luggage. Honestly, we were so impressed by Ahmad that we cancelled our existing reservation with another limo company, and booked our return trip with Rocket Limo instead. I sent a quick email to Rocket Limo to request a new reservations (even though I was nervous to book a new, private reservation within less than a week of our return date). And Rocket Limo responded within 1 minute to me. So for our second trip, we had requested Ahmad to pick us up again, put we had to idea what time we would disembark at. So they told us to call them in the morning when the ship arrived, and Ahmad was already there waiting for us. We had agreed ahead of time to meet at the Starbucks across the street, as the port charges crazy fees to outside limo drivers. Highly recommended car service. Professional and personable service, experienced drivers, and pristine vehicles. First impression: Nader greeted me with a sign, took my bags, and while walking out, he even asked if I needed to use the restroom before we left (I did, thank goodness he asked!). Upon picking me up the next week for my flight out, he asked if I had everything I needed (cell phone, wallet, keys etc), and I did forget my cell phone, so we turned around and picked it up before even getting out of the neighborhood. This professional and personal touch won me over. Since that week, I have not needed to look for another car service. This was our first time in Houston and I have found that I get much better service from a local car service. Rocket Limo is by far superior. They monitor flight status so when our plane arrived 40 minutes early the car was waiting. They meet you in the terminal and take your right to the car. Alma was very friendly and answered any questions we had about the area. She also was promptly waiting when it was time to go back to the airport. I arranged this car service for my parents the night before and Nader was very accommodating. When I didn't get an email confirmation, he sent me a text with the confirmation # and rate. My parents had a lost bag, so Nader actually had to wait a bit for them to come out. He texted me when they finally came out. Since I was worried, I really appreciated the updates! I also liked that he actually took the bags out of the car - something another car service refused to do! The rate was a tad higher than others - but not by much. The best car service I have had in a long time. When you come from out of town and it's not your local company it always makes you leery to know if you are getting great service. Very professional! He met us at the airport with a sign with my name on it . He didn't even mind taking us to wataburer since we were starving after our plane ride. He even waited an extended amount of time for us on the return as the cruise ship would not let us off because the escalator was broken. In the process of picking us up we had a horrible cop give him a ticket for being in the waiting area. (I truly think there was another reason the cop ticketed our driver as I was called "colored" on more than a FEW occasions while in the Houston/Galveston area) However, even being ticketed didn't dampened his mood and he delivered us to the airport safely. I am always impressed when I have something ordered for a specific time and the company responsible follows through. I had a flight out of IAH that was for a 5 day conference and I did not want to leave my car at the airport. I was clear with Rocket that I had to be picked up at 05:15 and the driver showed up at 05:05! He did not come ring the doorbell then either - so no one else in the house woke up. I went outside with two bags at 05:13 and he got out of the car and grabbed my bags. Dressed sharp and with a Lincoln Town Car that was not brand new. I was impressed when I got in and the car was clean and did not smell like a deodorizer. The driver listened when I suggested how to go to the airport and we got there fine. Often I do not want to talk a lot in a car ride, but the driver was very pleasant and it made the 25 minute ride go by quickly. I have to say that I will use Rockets again. We used the limo service this past weekend in Houston. They met us at the airport on Friday and then we had them from 1:30 PM until we went to the hotel about 10 that evening. Both drivers were wonderful. We were in Houston for a wedding and decided to treat our table ( for the reception) to a ride to both the wedding service and on to the reception. Everything was wonderful both days and could not have gone smoother. Our driver on Saturday was so nice. One of the ladies had recently had back surgery and was having difficulty getting in the car. Nader is a joy to work with. I had to reschedule my 2018 trip to visit my son in 2019. Nader gave me the same price quote as the previous year (very reasonable) and when the weather looked bad upon my arrival at the Bush airport, he upgraded me to an SUV to make sure I was safe. Sam, the driver, met me at the luggage carousel on time and we went to the SUV. The BMW SUV was immaculate. He had bottled water in the back for me and even gave me extra bottles of water when we got to my hotel. Sam was a good driver and very personable. We had a nice conversation making the 1-1/2 hr. drive very pleasurable. We got to the hotel ahead of the storm and Sam helped me bring my luggage upstairs to my room. I would recommend this company for transportation in Houston. Booking the car went very well. The company was very responsive and professional. The driver arrived promptly but because I was traveling with 3 small children and a senior, we of course had to make a stop at the restroom before we headed down. So inevitably we were a little late in getting down and the driver seemed to be bothered by it and mentioned that he was about to leave us. The car was clean but was not stocked with bottled waters which most car services and Uber's provide. The driver passed our destination and when my 8 year old daughter said there it is! We passed it! He eventually turned back. Overall they are good but not outstanding read more
