Wow has been doing service on my street all day, Mind you I am not a customer and after today I…read morewill NEVER be a customer. No one came to my door, No one bother to ask me about needing to inter my PRIVATE property. One of their service techs just walks right down my driveway and into my backyard. I stopped him from going further into my yard and told him he is trespassing and that he needed to leave and he does not have my permission to be on my property. HE tried to explain why he was there and I told him that wasn't my concern and that he needed MY permission to be on MY PRIVATE property. He said he would wait for the police and that they would say it's okay. The hell they will. I wasn't told they would need access, Wasn't shown a work order, NOTHING! I called the company and talked to their Service Tech. I explained what happen and this Rude and Very unprofessional person said "What do you want me to do about it". My response, "I don't know, try training your techs about knocking on peoples door to let them know what's going on, or is that too much to ask for". I then asked why didn't anyone come to my house and let us know. All I got was "okay". I asked for a supervisor. Was told he needs a reason for me asking. Ummm? Really? I then asked 3 more times and was told "no". I told him fine and told him flat out. IF ANY of your techs walks onto my property again without my consent then I would press charges and call the BBB and Comers. This company is a Joke. If they do this again there will be consequences to their actions.

I've used Provide.net for over 3 years which is enough experience for me to give a good account of…read moretheir service. I didn't want to use Xfinity or AT&T (although Provide.net uses AT&T to provide their service) because I didn't want to be locked in a contract. I am month-to-month. At the beginning of my service, I bought a modem/router for $100 straight from Provide.net. This is great bc I do not pay a rental fee for the modem. I own it and it hasn't outdated in 3 years and I am sure I will get many more years out of it. My service costs me $40 a month. I pay every 3 months at once (this is how they do their billing) but that is fine for me. The service is DSL, but I see no difference between that and fiber/cable, which I have used in the past. Zero difference! So why pay more? I am streaming Netflix on one or two devices at the same time and someone else is probably using the Internet in the house too. The speed is fast. Everyone can do what they need to do. Also, in 3 years, I haven't had bouts of lost connection. The Internet is always working fine. It is 100% reliable. I am thankful for Provide.net because I can walk right into their storefront on Hewitt 10 minutes from my house and talk to a real human if I ever needed, which I don't, but I could. They are also not like corporate Xfinity puppet people, who totally suck! They are real guys who are totally upfront and casual to talk with. I'm never leaving Provide.net and highly recommend it to home Internet users.

The nightmare is finally over with this internet provider…read more Summary since my last review: -Multiple "unexplained" outages. -Discount periods became less and less where I was calling every two months to get a new one re-applied -Final discount ask was not granted and I was only given a slightly higher speed -Cable re-bury effort after our line got cut was redone 5 times and still kept popping up. They claim to bury 18 inches but it looked like 4 or 5 inches at best -Unexplained bill increases. Most likely pulling back their covid-era speed increases by charging their customers. -Customer service chat/phone call is the worst I've ever dealt with. Agents need to have the issue repeated multiple times. You're reporting an issue and they say "excellent, I'm glad to hear that and hope you're doing well". Either not understanding or not listening. -Canceling was very painful. Could not be done through chat, had to be done over the phone, was transferred 4 times and kept getting asked to renew. I'm still getting calls and emails to reactivate my service. I also had to pay Fedex to ship my equipment back, I couldn't drop them off at this location. I know most internet/cable companies are poor but WOW is by far the worst I've ever had. Avoid at all costs.

She was very clear about prices and what our monthly bill would be and we never felt pressured to buy anything we didn't really want or upgrade services. Aside from having issues with Sprint releasing my boyfriends account number, everything went really smooth and we were only there for about an hour. So far, the service is great and there is no lag like I experienced with T-Mobile.

If I would add 0 stars I would. My extreme dissatisfaction with Verizon started 3 years ago when I…read morefirst signed a contract with them. The prices are too high, the contracts are too long, and Verizon often advertises misleading offers and doesn't give their employees enough information about said offers so incorrect information is stated to the customer when purchasing the product(s). It took me 11 months to receive part of my promotion, not to mention employees misquoted how much I would be paying for the rest of the promotion because they weren't told how much certain things were worth or cost. I was locked into a 3 year contract with Verizon where I couldn't opt out without paying an obnoxious price, but Verizon could change the price of different products at any time. My bill raised several times while under contract with Verizon because their employees failed to adequately answer my questions about the prices when I purchased the advertised offer. If one employee had made the mistake, I would think it was a fluke. However, when several employees are unable to answer questions about one advertised promotion, it shows a lack of training on the company as a whole, something I'm sure is done so Verizon can't be held legally responsible for. When I called to cancel service (because they don't have an easy online option to do that), not only was I charged again, but they didn't cancel all of my devices as requested. Then I tried to login to my account to verify the billing was correct, only to discover the removed my account while leaving active devices on it I'd requested they remove. Their customer service is horrible, no one ever knows what they're doing. Don't be fooled like I was. Buy your phone without getting into contract with them and never sign up for "free" stuff because nothing is ever free with them. If an offer sounds too good to be true, just know that it is (no matter how much their employees tell you otherwise) and you'll be paying for it one way or another. I learned recently that you can purchase monthly service through U.S. Mobile and still use Verizon towers (with the Warp package) for a significantly discounted rate. I am in no way sponsored or affiliated with U.S. Mobile, it was just a company a family member recommended to me and after being with them for less than a week I'm already tremendously more happy with their customer service and up front pricing. Verizon is a joke and I'll never sign up for one of their promotions or contracts again.
