It was the first time that no one asked if we needed help or if we were looking for something. At one point we did need help but the busy workers just walked on by. I was purchasing several delphiniums and one was falling over. I was trying to find out if someone could find a stick or something to hold it up. The answer was no at least three times. We went to the register and paid and asked one more time. Still no. I then out of frustration walked back to the house plant department and found Julie working. She kindly left what she was doing to find a stick. By then Mike from trees and shrubs was helping too. They supported my beautiful plant and securely tied it. I said to them "thank goodness, I finally got the excellent AL's customer service I've come to expect". They told me they were the longest standing employees there. This year I did all my Christmas shopping for family kiddos online and had them delivered (free of charge if you live 10 miles or less from the store and your order is over $25) to my house. Personally delivered by Nora. I usually check the catalog I get in the mail, then go online to find if what I want is in-stock. Their website has been updated and it is so much easier to find the items you want. Much more intuitive and easy to navigate. There's a tad of a learning curve specifying that you want an item gift wrapped via their order form but a phone call to the store cleared that up immediately. Everything I wanted was rung up, gift wrapped FOR FREE, and delivered almost faster than I could put on my shoes and drive to the store. No parking hassle or being exposed to other people either. I love that I can shop locally and NOT at a Big Box store. Pretty competitive pricing as well. Usually there's a coupon for 10-15% off your purchase in the catalog, so that helps save a few dollars also. I'm a customer for life!

It's popular destination for tourists' shopping since there's no sales tax. The common spaces are wide, clean and have lots of open sky windows. There are plenty of sitting spots available as well for guests. We were in the mall for about 5 hours. We shopped in the Lego store, Tumi, VS, Dick's, 85C Bakery, and BoxLunch. We had friendly interactions from staff members in the all the stores. We also went to the food court on second floor, which was underwhelming compared to rest of the mall. The dining space had old tiles on the floor, the chair and tables were basic ones. There were 10-12 stores available offering a variety of cuisines. The food was decent from couple of stores we tried. Prices were little bit expensive. Overall we had wonderful half day spent shopping and dining at this mall. There was a good mix of popular and luxurious brands, offering wide range of products. The food court could use some facelift to match with rest of the wonderful interior of the mall.
