It was truly one of the best catering experiences I have had from the professionalism of the onsite staff to the exceptional quality of every dish served. I was unfortunately too busy managing the event (and enjoying the food) to take photos, but the menu absolutely deserves recognition. Highlights included the perfectly seasoned Farmer's Market Scramble, Chicken Apple Sausage, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with Blueberry Sauce, and Herb Roasted Potatoes for breakfast. Lunch featured incredibly tender Short Ribs, perfectly glazed and moist Grilled Chicken, grilled polenta, and the best honey butter cornbread I have ever had. Our guests consistently commented on how outstanding the food was...and this group is not easily impressed when it comes to catering. The Persian Chicken Kabobs are excellent. Between Santorini and Danville International Market I think Diamondbite's has the juiciest by far. Grilled to perfection. For the ground meat kabobs, I can only recommend the Beef version. The ground chicken was dry and overly seasoned - salty to the point of being inedible. The saffron rice is also good, though some more oil would be nice. They also offer extreme contrast of flavors - a side of pickled cabbage that's really tart and a single jalapeño pepper that's spicy for me. Definitely plan to try some of their other offerings. They ran out of Aush Resteh last time so it'll be something to look forward to forward too.

Although mini cupcakes were not listed on her menu, she was able to provide them. Also, you can ask her about gluten free desserts. You can have more than just macarons. Compliments I received... "Did you make the food? The salmon and tri-tip were so juicy." "This is better than most wedding food." 2 people inquired who I used to cater for the event. I received general praise that the food was good. I received explicit praise that the petit fours and fruit tarts were good. The mashed potatoes were thick but good. Passion for catering's setup and tear down went smoothly. It was maybe 20-30 minutes of setup and 10 minutes of tear down. I appreciate that they were able to provide decor for the food tables. They also provided some takeout containers for us to take leftover food. 10/10 would cater from them again.

The mom and uncle of the owner showed up early to set up and start cooking. They were professional, kind, and very friendly. Kids and adults alike really enjoyed the churros too! They boxed up all leftovers after the event, so we ate tacos for leftovers and froze a bunch too for later. I remembered they have a happy hour deal from 2 PM to 5 PM for $9.95, which is a really good value. When I went in, there were a lot of employees working, but it took a while for someone to acknowledge me even though I was the only customer. Some were wiping tables, others were in the kitchen, and a few looked at me, but no one said hello or even that someone would be right with me. That kind of acknowledgment would have gone a long way. I eventually realized they wanted customers to order through the touchscreen kiosks. Even so, it would have been nice if someone had said something instead of leaving me to figure it out on my own. I ordered a spicy teriyaki bowl. There is no note section on the screen, so after placing my order I asked if they could make my chicken extra crispy or charred. Based on Yelp photos, the chicken usually does not have much char, which I prefer for both flavor and appearance. When my food was ready, the woman who handed it to me was the only person who was genuinely nice. The napkins were out and she noticed and immediately offered to grab some for me, which I appreciated. When I got home and opened my bowl, the chicken still was not as charred as I had requested. There were only a few light grill marks. The biggest disappointment was the sauce. Even though they say it is made in house, it was missing something and lacked that umami depth. Honestly, it was one of the worst teriyaki sauces I have had. The rice and steamed vegetables were fine, but the chicken and sauce are the main focus of a teriyaki bowl, and that is where this really fell short. If you put a bowl from Teriyaki City Grill next to one from Teriyaki Madness, just by looks alone, Teriyaki Madness is much more appetizing. Because of the service and the food, I do not think I will be coming here again.
