Wow! Just got off the phone with one of their scammers, ER, agents, April. Actually she hung up on me. They wanted high res photos of my eyes and for us to take a video quiz with a notary to prove who we are. We have a title in hand, and the buyers were using them for financing. I said send me a form and we will go to our bank. Unable to think beyond the script, she said ..."that's not the way we do it." Bless her heart. I would suggest you look anywhere else for a loan if you need one. Even Vito in the back alley in Memphis would probably offer a better experience. What a massive waste of time. These people "approved" us for a loan, went through days of steps and paperwork, had the dealer provide all this information, told us it was a done deal just had to sign the final contract. Next morning I get a call that they are pulling out of the deal because another seperate loan company denied us previously before trying with rock solid. Don't waste your time. If I could go 0 stars I would. I was trying to purchase a motorhome. My credit score is 820 and my wifes is 825, which are called exceptional. My bills per month for home, vehicle, and trailer total $5050 per month. After paying those bills, my free income is $11,655. The motorhome payment would be about $1500, leaving $10155 after all bills are paid. This crazy company said I have too many bills. My 2022 car is paid in full. I have no other bills. DO NOT COME TO ROCK SOLID FUNDING if you want a loan on more than a low cost item. Apparently, a $130,000 loan, after the down payment, is too BIG for them because everything on our end is perfect. Never missed a payment on anything EVER! I almost feel like they were just gathering my credit info. to scam me because there is no other reason why they shouldn't move forward. Trash. Only thing this company is good for is making hard inquiries on your credit report and lowering your score....if that's what you're looking for, then you've found the right company. They obviously don't care if you have absolutely ZERO negative marks on your credit, if you've paid everything on time as far back as your credit goes, ZERO reasons to point to that you may miss a payment, enough income to afford what you're applying for, a higher credit score, 10+ years at multiple jobs, steady employment......no none of that matters. If you basically have any debt at all, they don't want you because apparently SOMEHOW you're a risk.....how? No idea, I've never missed a payment on anything and was still denied. I'd give them a zero if I could. 780 credit score with one missed payment on a $20 credit card balance last year while away and they deny my application to purchase a used class B RV. Worse, they don't even let you know. I had to contact them to find out after not hearing. Further, they won't talk to you to discuss to remedy the situation through further underwriting. Instead, they'll "send you a letter within 30 days". Only applied because they advertised funding purchases from private sellers at what seemed to be reasonable rates. Thanks to TrustPilot, I was also aware of their origination fees of nearly $600 on top of the loan amount. So, beware. Don't count on anything from these folks that even resembles professionalism in financing your loan application. read more

Wife applied to get financing on a trailer that was gonna cost around $3k and they came back and said she was approved, but a minimum of $5k and since that was the minimum, it put Debt to income ratio over so she needed a co signer. This company doesn't make any sense and the person that's handling the loans, is not very informative about anything. Just a waste of time, seriously search other options prior to trying these people, not a good experience at all! Also... BROKER means they don't fund it, they are searching for funding for you.... middle man!!! read more

In my opinion they deserve zero stars but I had to choose one to review. Consumers be aware - Solid Rock Authorized 5 hard inquiries to my credit report then declined my loan. With such a high credit score (840) I couldn't understand why so I contacted a credit union. They took a second look and approved my loan immediately. Inquiries by Solid Rock's 'data software provider' and others caused my credit score to plummet from 840 to just below 700. I've asked for these inquiries to be removed and all parties involved have refused stating solid rock authorized these inquiries. Consumer beware, your credit could be compromised if you sign their application! read more

I put in an application to buy a trailer. They at first told me I was approved, then I got another email saying my app was rejected for some vague reason about my income reporting. It made no sense because I have excellent credit and more than enough money to make the payments. I also called them and explained the income reporting issue before the application was processed. When I called them about it the rep. said she'd email the bank and get back with me. She commented that the bank they dealt with was kind of vague with them too. I waited, but never heard back. So I applied with another lender and got approved almost immediately. I won't do business with Rock Solid again. As the old saying goes, "Ain't nobody got time for that!" read more

I absolutely do not recommend this company. After being lured in by their glowing customer testimonials, which now I'm quite sure are all fabricated, I applied for a $3000 loan on a 7x16 Interstate LoadRunner trailer. Keep in mind, I have a 669 credit score and a $99,000 annual income. To say I was appalled by the offer they came back with is an understatement. Firstly, their offer of 17.99% interest was ridiculous. Especially considering that after I financed it with my credit union and electing automatic payroll deduction, my APR ended up being only 5.99%. Apparently they also believe people to be incapable of proficiently using a simple loan calculator... Even at their absurd 17.99% interest rate, anyone with an Internet connection can discern that the payments should have been around $85 a month, not the $109 they finally quoted me. So, what was that additional $24 a month for? It seems there are a lot of hidden fees associated with their program that they don't disclose even after I specifically asked. When I rejecter their offer I suggested that perhaps they should brush up on Title 12 CFR Part 226, Truth in Lending Act; specifically Sub Part C Section 226.17 and 226.18. Secondly, I applied for a loan not insurance; apparently part of their business model is to tack on tire and wheel coverage without asking first. Of course they don't mention it is optional unless you complain and they assume you want it so unless you opt out you're paying extra. Also, in my case when I opted out they shortened the loan from five years to four. They also try to get you to buy their anti-theft program. Personally I believe this all goes beyond inappropriate and borders on deceptive business practices. Since they failed to disclose the terms as required I don't know if this was a one time fee amortized over the life of the loan or an additional monthly payment for coverage. If the latter, then I believe they are actually selling insurance. And having been a licensed insurance agent in California, I'm curious if Rock Solid Funding dba "financemytrailer.com" is licensed to sell insurance in CA or any other state for that matter. Their first email to me with their offer was three paragraphs. But, once I told them I wasn't interested in their add-ons, their responses became single sentences Their offer is copied below: Hey Richard With the $3000 down as stated on application Term: 60 months Rate: 17.99% I know it seems a little high but, Keep in mind that this is a simple interest loan, so if you decide to pay off this loan early there are no prepayment penalties. Your monthly payment with all our fees and everything included looks like it is going to roughly come out to be $121, In this includes the added charge of our wheel and tire package, which covers the trailer and the vehicle pulling the trailer. So if there is any wheel, tire or rim damage all of that would be covered for 5 years with no deductible. Even if you were to pay the loan off early you would still be covered for the full 5 years. And also we have this great anti-theft program that we do like to offer that is good for 5 years and covers up to $5000 of the unit if stolen. If everything sounds good if you will get in contact with the dealer and let them know that you have been approved and I will need to get documents from them to get everything contracted and sent out to you. I wish I would've read the reviews before applying. I'm self-employed and receive a 1099 from whom I work with and deduct business expenses out of that income. The representative I was talking to said the bank/lender wanted line 37 on my 1040 to match the number I put on my application. Line 37 on my 1040 is after business deductions. There is absolutely no way line 37 could match the number I put on my application! I also sent in my schedule C which shows my income for the year before deductions which is what they should've gone by. Rock Solid did 2 hard inquires on my credit. Not to mention I didn't hear from the rep (Melissa Yanity) for three days so I had to call her to find out if I was SOL. I told her that's all I needed to know!
