I have purchased 3 vehicles in the last 2 years from the Anderson Auto Group. My first vehicle was purchased at Anderson Dodge/JEEP and my last two vehicles were purchased at the Rock River Block, one was at Top of the Block and the other at Rock River Kia. I will never purchase a vehicle from anyone other than the Anderson Group. All three purchases were hassle free and they followed through on everything promised in the deals. I am very picky about who services my vehicles and try to always take them back to the dealer at which they were purchased. I have had my van worked on multiple times for oil changes at the Ford store. I love that I can set up an appointment and they have a shuttle that takes me back home or to work while they are servicing my vehicle. Most shops try to upcharge and sell you stuff you may not need and luckily I have never experienced that with them. My van has a small leak in the power steering column and they told me it was something that would need fixed eventually but it wasn't something that would put my family at risk if I needed to wait. That meant a lot to me that they cared about the safety of my wife and kids. I also have done service work at the Kia store. They have always been very helpful and luckily any repairs I've needed have been covered under the extended warranty that I purchased. I'm slightly addicted to coffee so its nice that they always have fresh coffee and a comfortable waiting area. Overall, I can't express how impressed I am with the Rock River Block. I like most people hate shopping for cars and dread taking them in for service even more. It's nice to see that the car business has changed over the years and you wont always be taken advantage of. over the years we have dealt with the Anderson Group's Ford dealership. Not all encounters where meet with our expectancy in customer service. Some of their team members were pushy and condescending towards female buyers. Just recently my husband and I were traveling down State Street, when I spotted a vehicle on their KIA used car lot. It was car my husband I always wanted to own. So we pulled in to check it out, fully prepared to receive some of the treatment and experiences we have dealt with in previous years ( a time frame ranging over 15 years). We were cheerfully greeted by Jeff B.! Jeff was a pleasure to deal with. He introduced us to several other staff members, including Mike St. Everyone was professional and friendly, we made the purchase of our toy dream car. On Jeff's day off people jumped right in to help us, they know who we were and what we had come in for. Great teamwork on their part. We did have a few thing, that needed to be checked out and corrected in order to proceed with the purchase. Everything went pretty smooth, including the finance team. The only delay we experienced, was the fact that a third party was to install a new audio system and there was a shipping delay for parts to them. Jeff and the crew at KIA/ Ford were very informative and kept us up to date on the status. We are still on cloud nine over the purchase of this car. I bought my first new car at Rock River Ford in 2009 and had such a great experience that when it came time to replace my Hyundai Sonata, this was the first place I thought of when looking for a new car. I had been looking for a 3rd row seat vehicle for a while, like every one else I wanted a nice vehicle with low payment and maybe no money down! lol.. every where I went sales men treated me like my credit wasn't worthy of car.. in one place they wanted to pull my credit before a test drive... that's crazy! well after a few weeks of looking my old van was getting tired of me, I guess. My misubishi eclipse was have problems with its Cat converter and i was so impressed by how friendly everyone was! With in a few hours everything was fixed! Mark was very helpful at letting me know how long it would take and even called me to let me know that it was going to take a few minutes longer which i greatly appreciate...overall I would go back to Rock River Block any day it was clean, friendly, and fast...thank you so much guys for getting my car done before my vacation drive to SC. After searching listings online, I went to look at a used car at the lot. My salesman, Larry, was honest with the car and talked about its pros and cons. After viewing other cars on the lot, he took us to another Anderson location (Anderson Toyota) which we were able to find a different used car in my price range. Rock River Block was open to having my regular mechanic check the car over and accommodating to my schedule. When I was wanted to buy the car they did negotiate a price lower than originally priced due to cosmetic issues on the car. All in all, a great experience and I did not feel pressured to buy. I would recommend checking the Kelly Blue Book Prices and NADA before going so that if you are negotiating a price, you have a better understanding of what you plan to pay. read more

If you ever need to get a car, this is the place to go. I have a child with autism, he functions at a high level but does have some "abnormal" things that he does, and we were not looked at funny or treated poorly at all. The sales representative I worked with was Jeff Bronston, and his boss Shawn Hess. They really went above and beyond for my son and I. All of my needs were taken into consideration and Jeff even went to a different location to get the vehicle I had set my sights on. I not only got a wonderful deal on the vehicle, but they also worked with me on the financing. The car was in immaculate condition, with no work that really needed to be done. Our Ford Escape Hybrid had to be towed in due to an electronics problem. We left the car at the dealership Sunday evening and Monday morning Mark Armato called me. Based on what I told him, he listed three possible common causes. After checking out the codes from the car, he called back within two hours and explained that it was the simplest problem - a failed cooling pump for the electronics. They ordered the part and had it fixed the next day. We came in before closing and he explained everything. It has been working fine since. This was the first breakdown in 140,000 miles and we had been very worried. Mark couldn't have made it easier for us. We own 4 Ford Vehicles. 2000 F-350, 2010 Fusion, 2012 F-150, and a 2012 F-350. We have dealt with Rock River Ford Service department for years and have had nothing but excellent service! Everyone is always friendly, the shop is clean, and they go out of their way to make sure we are happy with the service that we receive. They are the only shop i truly trust with our vehicles! Over the last 20 years or so, I have bought 7 or 8 cars from the Anderson dealerships. I was so comfortable with Brian that the last truck I bought was done over the phone, sight unseen. This time I was looking for a nice used car for my daughter. I stopped in to look around after work last night. Jeff B. came up asking if I needed help and what I was looking for. I took two of my Fords in for routine service this morning. Only one was scheduled. Mark Armato, who is very professional, friendly, & courteous, mentioned if I had time, I could bring in my other ford vehicle. My Sportrac needed a 30K check-up. He recommended several preventative measures, of which was more than greatly appreciated. He knows vehicles. He was right on with the time that the work would take, which there was no guessing. I was surprised how hard the salesman Larry B. worked for us.. He didn't push and it seemed like he really cared about getting us the car that we wanted. This was my first dealing with Rock River Ford. I was interested in buying a Ford vehicle from them recently and ended up buying. The salesman was very helpful and not overly pushy with the sale, but he made it clear he wanted my business. The salesman did not have deep knowledge on the particular vehicle I was interested in but I didn't mind since I did my research before hand. While we always supported our local repair shops, we were impressed with the service provided by Mark Armato and the mechanics who worked on our 2000 Lincoln Towncar. Mark is unfailingly courteous and honest, even with the things we don't want to hear. Service was timely, and courtesy rides when required were prompt and friendly.
