Plusplus if you like when they avoid eye contact as they walk by with no sense of urgency, man that was awesome. I've never been ignored so hard in my life, oooh wee. Oooh I especially loved the drunk woman flopping all over the place in wet, see-thru white shorts with no underwear/swim bottoms on. It was really cool when she began making out with her girlfriend while they sat in between each other's legs/on laps. My favorite part was when their boyfriend showed up and joined them. All three of them rubbing and kissing. Then into the pool they went and the underwater petting began. It was great. Who knew Thunder was so open to community-led sex ed! The many kids with front row seats certainly enjoyed it! Bar and food is decent, so I added a star, ooh wee!

We stayed from 10am to 7 pm. We saw several waitresses going to all the cabanas and the loungers throughout the day. Can you guess how many times we were visited by a waitress in the 9 hours we were there? Zero! I didn't know if I should feel it was racism or what but we were never asked if we wanted something from the bar or from the kitchen. We had to get up each time and walk to the bar ourselves. I also ordered from the kitchen and we had to get up and go to the bar and pick it up ourselves. There were delivery guys who would deliver food from the kitchen to other patrons but when it came to us, we had to do it all ourselves. I'm not sure how to feel about the entire situation. Everything else was great but the whole experience put a huge damper on things.

My Gawd, Crazy Fun Time If Looking For Something....You'd NEVER Do Again!…read more SITREP Okay, I KID, I KID! But I have to say that after we left iFly and were heading for an after-party at the Almond Tree Lounge (Almond), the LAST thing I expected to be doing was Line-Dancing! THE SETUP In fact, it's a little misleading to be calling this a "lounge" if you are looking for a QUIET, chill place to relax, and regroup, and catch up with friends (without having to YELL). Well, be-that-as-it-may, the Almond was a wild-ass fun time, even if it exploded into my face like a GIANT FRIENDLY FART! (You know what I'm saying?) ;) Mad Props to uber-Yelper John H. for organizing this fest-of-fun and making it so convenient for us to hit after the iFly Yelp Elite Event (YEE)! DANCING! First off, when you enter the Almond, you are walking RIGHT PAST the band and then the dance floor, so it's impossible to be discreet about your entrance: all-eyes-on-YOU! But the dance floor is big and smooth (no potholes) and fun to dance on! I even got to uber-Elite Lucy out there for some Country-Western Swing and we had a great time. THE DRINKS! OH my GAWD! Sometimes you have to order a specific drink (like when I'm in Spokane, or Bishop, or Coeur d'Alene ) that is calle the "mind-eraser" to make sure it's packing a wallop! NOPE. Not here! I simply ordered a standard Jack & Coke, and that puppy was able to put me on my ass (I THINK the coke was added merely to get a BIT of coloring in the glass!) And the Alex L. and Maria & Scott were getting shots for peeps! Crazy pineapple thingies and jager shots - the mind WAS erasing away...... (Seriously, I was glad I was not driving). THE FOOD Nothing really to write home about. Our table got 2 pizzas - a cheese and a pepperoni. *munch munch munch* And as we were munching, I said to Alex L., "tastes like Red Baron." *munch munch munch* Alex looked far off, and then came back, "Digiorno?" We laughed. Point was made. But honestly, in the end when going for drinks late at night, the food is inconsequential. THE LOWDOWN Great time to spend with iFlyers, Yelp-friends, Romans, and Countrymen, in a fun honky-tonk environment in Roseville, off-the-Sacto-grid (for a change!).

Leave it to one of my favorite yelpers to find such a sweet spot. Cheap drinks made perfectly (greyhounds are my favorite and they do them so well here), a straight up old people dance floor, and even an indoor smoking room?!? What is this? Reno?!? What a cool little divey jivey place. Almond tree. There's food here and it mostly looked good. The pizza was tasty. And cheap. Alex L bought us pineapple upside down cake shots but only for girls, and Maria bought us pizza. What did we do to deserve this?!?! Yelp is cool.

Robert worked hard to make each design detailed and original. I would recommend him to others, but a warning to get in line quick- his clients add up fast! My husband and I were especially impressed with his diverse ability to work with many different materials. Including forming wood selves, painting walls to match perfectly with art work and blending a marble style fireplace out of concrete. His work is creative and he takes his time to make things perfect and the right style for your home. If you are looking for an artist, Robert would be my first choice hands down.

From my separate City of Auburn review:…read more Auburn is an attractive city, especially Old Town Auburn, which attracts passersby on the highway between Reno and Sacramento with the quaint architecture on a hill flanked by a giant sculpture. Its small-town charm is likely why movies like Rocky and Bullwinkle, Breakdown, Wisdom, and xXx had scenes shot here, but the town relates most to the 1996 John Travolta movie Phinome Phenomin Phenomm Look Who's Talking. The guy who discovered gold here in 1849 was memorialized by Ken Fox with a 45-ton concrete (rebar and wire mesh) statue at the entrance of Old Town. Ken Fox was a dentist able to do this in between teeth cleanings and forcing customers to look at super close-up pictures of their teeth in order to sell "special deep teeth cleaning" by the quadrant. This dentist has more "Great Statues" in the area which you'd likely find ful-"filling". Get it? Anyway, it's right off the highway, so stop there and check out Old Town. I arrived around 3:45 pm and waited about 15 minutes before going inside at 4:00 pm. The staff was very nice and welcoming, and they even offered focaccia bread and water while I waited, which I appreciated. I ordered two kids pizzas, one with pineapple and one with olives, and specifically asked for extra sauce because my kids like their pizza that way. I was also charged an extra $2 for the toppings, which I paid, but it would have been nice if that had been communicated to me upfront. Unfortunately, after waiting about 40 minutes, the pizzas were very disappointing. My kids immediately said it tasted like cheese bread, and after trying it myself, I agreed. There was barely any sauce at all, which was surprising since I had asked for extra sauce. My kids wouldn't eat it, and I ended up having to take them somewhere else to get pizza. I was really disappointed after driving so far and having high expectations based on the reviews. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this place and will not be returning.

I felt like the last…read morefew times I had dined in, the flavor of the food was like opening a can of spaghetti-o's. Or a jar of Alfredo sauce... it had zero appeal to me.. that has changed. I think the restaurant itself is gorgeous. The Old Spaghetti Factory is like the size of a 2 story house with 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms... ok, ok, maybe bigger, but as a child, I can remember wanting to go out to eat here. I think the building is stunning, especially on the inside and it feels like you are walking into someone's home. It is all wood trimmed, wooden floors, wooden banister... Is it weird that there is a smell in here? Not a bad smell, but familiar and it has lingered inside of this restaurant for 20+ years. It makes me feel nostalgic... As of today, I am a fan of the Chicken Picatta. This dish comes with angel hair pasta topped with browned butter and mizithra cheese, and chicken breast topped with a medley of butter, lemon, capers, shallots, and tomatoes. The garlic cheese bread is probably one of my favorite garlic breads to order from anywhere. It is unfortunately served with COLD marinara. Like... why?? Why am I going to dip hot cheesy garlic bread into COLD marinara?? So we just don't use it. Today, my client and I ordered online through my account. When you first sign up, you receive a free cheesy garlic bread. We like ordering online because you earn points to receive free items on their menu. We each ordered a Chicken Picatta, and one chicken parmigiano. I think every meal comes with salad and their most popular dressing is their pesto ranch. Complimentary sourdough bread comes with meals as well. It looks like they serve 1/2 a loaf per person... at least that is how it is for togo. What I don't like about ordering online is that there isn't anywhere to substitute for a different pasta. For example, the chicken parmigiano comes with spaghetti noodles, but we like angel hair noodles. There also isn't a section to order an extra side of sauce. So I did walk in and explain that I was putting an order in and needed substitutions. They were happy to substitute noods for me! The women working at the togo area are always pleasant. The bartender is fun to sit and talk with while I wait for my order. I waited almost 40 minutes today for our order, but I was enjoying my company, so I didn't mind. I may have to give the OSF another try and dine in. If I'm a fan of the Chicken Picatta and cheesy bread togo, I'm sure it'll be great dining in!

This…read moreparticular store holds a special place in our hearts as we have celebrated many occasions here with different family members over the years. This visit I made a reservation several days in advance. Party of six at 6:30 pm. We arrived just a few minutes before our scheduled time, checked in and waited. And waited... and waited some more. Around 6:50 I asked the manager on duty whether they were going to be able to seat us soon. The manager was polite, apologetic, and explained that they were busier than they had anticipated. Just before 7:00 pm, we were seated. After about five to ten minutes our server arrived and introduced himself. We received our beverages and bread very shortly thereafter, followed by soups and salads. Dinners were then served and were good, as they usually are. Beverages were not kept filled and we had to ask for refills a number of times. We had also requested crushed red pepper and had to remind the server. The potential exists for this location to receive four or five star ratings, but management needs to work with staff to offer better care for patrons, both with regard to reservation management and general food serving standards. One other comment, this one is corporate related, I lost thousands of loyalty points at the beginning of the year because I hadn't used them. I believe this is a change to the program, as I never lost points in prior years and enjoyed receiving various perks for supporting the business. Just FYI - use 'em or lose 'em. Nonetheless, I am sure we'll return!
