We…read morehired a reputable cabinet company to look at our kitchen cabinets and recommend the best (and least invasive) way to correct Artisan's (and Alin's) inferior work. They initially recommended removing the facings only, but unfortunately, they will have to remove at least half of the cabinets because there are too many flaws and the staining work is too inferior. The painter/stainer looked at our cabinets and said (and I quote): "This is a half-ass job, and I can't match the stain and wouldn't want to try because of the inferior work." Also, the Artisan amateurs rigged the cabinet hinges with wooden shims and the Butler's pantry hinges with cardboard shims to make them work (SEE pictures). If this type of rigging doesn't seem amateurish, I don't know what does.

We received 4-5 bids for repairs, our main concern being whether there was wood rot and water damage to the main structure. We ended up going with Eliseo at Midtown Stucco and I'm so glad we did. We were very pleased with the quality of his work and his experience. Eliseo was super easy to work with and answered all our questions. In our case, there was no significant water damage beneath the stucco, and he did an outstanding job matching up our old and new stucco. The hardest part for us was understanding how long it would take for our job to be complete and being patient for the whole process to be finished! It was mid-fall when we were ready to start (we also had our house repainted first), and we did have to wait a few extra weeks until the temps were good and no rain/snow in the forecast. Eliseo was great about keeping in touch via text message. It took about two days to remove and replace the stucco, and then a week to set before painting. Took off a star because he didn't always actually show up at the time he said he would, but in the general time frame. Also, he did not paint the trim, just the body, left a little bit of trash afterward, and got some paint on the garage door. We don't mind doing the trim work and the garage door clean up as it's common, but just pointing it out. I will definitely call Eliseo if we ever need stucco repaired again and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needs a quality stucco repair at a reasonable price! Tip: be patient with the process, especially if you are depending on the weather.

They also cleaned carefully at the end of each day. The owner, Cole Bernardel, was communicative, had good suggestions and is friendly, professional and easy to work with. They will be our first call for our next project. In contrast, our second floor remodel has taken 10 months, and it has been difficult to get them to complete the work, with many days going by with no one being here. Prices were more reasonable than other providers that I had priced. From estimate to finished product was very quick. Work was top notch. Have had one small problem, several months later, that was corrected the day after I reported it, at no charge. He also contracted two bathroom total remodels, taking care of every aspect of demolition, tile installation, vanity, fixtures, drywall, and plumbing. He will refer you to supply houses that are all in the Lenexa area to select your materials. He'll take it from there. As any remodel of an older house, we ran into several issues along the way. All were presented to me, with options to get around that hurdle. I have been more than happy with the way all work looks and functions. I got an expensive looking spa-like bathroom for a price you can deal with. All workers were careful to lay floor protection where they tracked and left your home as clean as possible each day upon leaving. Being respectful and keeping you informed along the way, helps ease your mind that the job is getting done right. They had to answer hundreds of questions from me, as the job progressed, which they did with patience. I dont think you would be disappointed in their work. Check out the website for example photos!

Tony Cirrintano had been recommended to us by our plumber, and we are so glad we chose to go with his company. From the first moment we began to work with him, he was so honest and helpful. We relied on his professional opinion of which tile would look the best and felt total confidence that he was experienced enough to know which ones would work and which ones wouldn't. Words cannot express how pleased we are with AMC's work. It is perfection! We cannot find one thing to complain about! Our shower is absolutely beautiful....like something you would find in a spa resort! All of Tony's recommendations turned out to be so much better than anything we could have come up with on our own. The two employees that came to do the tile work were so friendly and respectful of us and our home. We felt totally comfortable having them come into our house everyday while we were away at work. After work, we always came home excited to see what they had done that day. As we saw the job coming together, we were amazed at their level of expertise. Everything was laid down perfectly and the tile pattern was immaculate. If I could give Tony and AMC 100 stars, I would. They were THAT good!
