Definitely one of my favorite spots at the Hard Rock Hotel, tucked away in the back for a more relaxed vibe. The service is always great my waiter was especially kind and attentive. The fried rice is a go-to, and the hamachi roll was incredibly fresh. They also make a solid Old Fashioned, which pairs perfectly with the meal. read more

Truly one of our favorite places to eat in the Hard Rock Casino- the food is always fresh and the service is always fantastic. We used to frequent the restaurant a lot but slowed down over the last few months. The menu has changed and the chicken wings- which were to die for are no where to be found! The sushi is excellent and the combo fried rice is very tasty! My husband loves the soups and the Ramen -what was once a special- and not very often - is full time on the menu and that's his go to! You really cannot go wrong with Rock' N Raw. Sadly it isn't open every day of the week Thurs- Sun. The crowds can be pretty heavy on the weekends but it's worth the wait! read more

Didn't seem that busy but servers were in the weeds? Modest seating in the casino. Ramen was SO rich. Loved it. Good portions. Fried rice was more lacking in flavor but I enjoyed the texture. Gyoza/dumplings were also just okay (we had fried and steamed). read more

I hate to give one star reviews but sometimes they are warranted. Wife and I had dinner at Rock and Raw for the first time last night in the Hard Rock Tampa. Kinda out of the way it's not a particularly pleasing to the eye place. Just 3-4 very small tables and a weird shaped counter. This was minor compared to the real problem. I ordered the Steak and Pepper Kew dinner. It came with white rice. The price, $23. I know food is pricey here but everywhere else we've eaten in here you got value for what you pay. Not here. I've seen child portions bigger than this, look at the picture. Not much and some of the steak pieces looked like processed beef pellets. Very disappointing. Wife was happy with her Crab Rangoons and Alaska Roll. Order a Diet Coke and you get a can and a glass of ice. I left hungry. Needless to say we won't be back here. Juboa Noodle Palace is better choice. read more

Our large group went here for dinner, not realizing how small it was. They said our party would have to be split up - fine, no problem. However, four of us were sat within a few minutes, and the other six were not sat UNTIL WE WERE FINISHED EATING. Meanwhile, we saw multiple tables come and go. The people at the hostess stand were incredibly poorly trained and inefficient; that should never have happened. However, if I were just judging this place on our server and food, my rating would be five stars. Our waitress was incredibly friendly, organized and efficient, and did a fantastic job keeping the food and beverages coming. And the sushi was surprisingly delicious - way better than I would have expected to get at a hotel and casino. Very fresh, with interesting roll combinations, and generous portions of fish in each roll. My friend got a soup bowl, and it too was a large portion, filled with noodles, veggies and wontons. So, I recommend coming here if your party is 2 people or less, otherwise try the Hard Rock Cafe instead. read more

Great place to grab a quick bite. My experience was definitely more than the three star average this place has. We were here for spa services and decided instead of making a reservation for lunch we didn't want to be beholden to a time. Therefore, we wanted to eat at a place that doesn't take reservations. We walked past the noodle place and there was a wait. I think because this place is farther removed from the casino floor that people don't come here as often. It was pretty empty so we were seated immediately. We got a green dragon roll, Mongolian Beef, Chinese Broccoli, and every bao (duck, short rib and fried chicken). There is a combo plate where you can get one of every bao, which I think is awesome. Since I was with two friends we got two of every. I also got the lychee drink. It came in a can, but was really good. My favorite bao was the duck one, followed by the fried chicken and finally the short rib. They were all pretty good. The Mongolian Beef came with little beef, but good flavor. The Chinese Broccoli was very good. I'm usually impartial to it, so the fact that I would recommend it every time is surprising. It's more flavorful than I'm used to. The dragon roll was good, nothing to write home about. Overall our experience here was good. I would definitely come back after a spa day. read more

On a recent visit to Hard Rock casino, we decided to have dinner at Rock & Raw. located upstairs with the buffet used to be. It was quite a small place not much seating, little atmosphere. However, unlike my husband, who was totally disappointed with the place, I found the food quite good. I had crab rangoons which were yummy, and the Alaskan sushi roll. The roll had raw salmon and was topped with shrimp. I enjoyed it very much. Hubby wouldn't touch it so some was left on the plate because I couldn't eat it all after eating the Rangoons! it's a bit pricey, but not as bad as some places in Hard Rock. if you like this kind of food and don't mind a. cramped little eatery, then I recommend it. Hubby says he won't return, so I may just have to come back on my own! read more

I visited Rock n' Raw, which is housed in the Seminole Hard Rock Casino, with some friends over the weekend. However, the food was bland and pricey. The Dumplings were chewy and filled with mushy meat; the side of soy dipping sauce was needed to give the appetizer some flavor. The Beautiful Girl Roll was actually decent with a nice crisp tempura crust, soft rice, cream cheese, eel sauce and spicy mayo. Unfortunately, all these toppings masked any sort of flavor from the fish which you could barely tell was even in the roll. The Fried Rice had absolutely no flavor, which was astonishing since it consisted of so many ingredients, and the Bao Buns with Roasted Duck were doughy and filled with a tiny piece of flavorless duck. Do yourself a favor and skip this restaurant. read more

Although this restaurant is a little hard to find, but isn't everything inside the hard rock. it's in a nice secluded area on the second floor of the hard rock. I sat at the sushi bar in front of Justin. I made sure to request that he made my Sushi. I ordered a chef specialty platter that came with an assortment of delicious fresh cuts of fish. I wasn't disappointed by a single thing on my plate, and I was left in aww of every bite of the fish that I had. So everywhere in the casino can get pretty busy around dinner time. We were quoted a 30 minute wait, but were seated in maybe 20. We had frequented the place Pre pandemic so it was nice to see it back open. Slightly different menu options now. (You can download the menu online.) Crab Rangoon. Pretty common ingredients to everywhere else. Sashimi Plate. Hamachi, tuna and salmon. Simple and fresh. Bao Combo. Fried chicken with country gravy. Braised Pork Belly. Korean Short Rib. Seafood Soup. Pretty good, decent portion. Snow Crab (not imitation) fish cake, bay scallops and shrimp. Ask for chili oil. Crab Lo Mein (added shrimp.) Not bad. Also Snow Crab (not imitation.) Bay Shore Kamakazi roll. Pretty good as well. Overall, we were happy. Pretty busy night so service was a little slow. Only open on weekends. read more

awful service.Manager (Jr. Jose) approach very casual and rude. ii ordered soup and main course but they came up with main course after 20 mins and never served me the soup.Manager said that it was a casual restaurant and whatever is prepared first , wil;l be served first ,,,,,,I am like ....Really?????. i know soup is already made all they have to do is to pour the soup. So they gave me soup and i did not even startred to enjoy my soup the Manager Jr. Jose brought my main course plates and dumped beside my soup and said that their restaurant is closed now. I came to Hard Rock Cafe all the way from Orlando to take some break from my hectic professional life and relax but Jose Jr. spoiled my appetite . I did pay for ny whole dinner but could not enjoy anything. Their version is "its a casual restaurant So service doest matter!!!!!! We visited this restaurant during Labor Day weekend and were pleasantly surprised. We were sat at the large table in the center of the restaurant in the shape of a triangle. Our party of four was able to sit at one of the corners and we were able to easily talk to each other during dinner. We ordered a round of drinks and I tried the Hana Lychee sake. It was cold, sweet, and delicious. My family shared a bunch appetizers like the Special Noodle soup, dumplings, crab rangoons, and combination bao buns. The bao buns were a first for everyone and I just thought they were alright. The special noodle soup reminded me of pho and had a lot of great flavors. Dinner was served and I was in love the Bay Shore Kamakazi roll. The little bit of jalapeño on each piece of sushi was the perfect amount of heat. My mother in law ordered the Beautiful Girl, but wanted it to not be fried. The waitress stated they could easily make that happen, so definitely don't be afraid to ask! Overall, it was a great dinner and I would happily visit again the next time I am in town! read more

We decided to eat at Rock 'N Raw Sushi while staying at The Hardrock Hotel and Casino. The wife and teenager were both craving sushi so away we went. It's located upstairs in the Seminole Hardrock which is a huge casino/hotel. We started our meal with wine, Saki and a Beer. Kiddos had water and Dr Pepper. We ordered Edamame for our appetizer, and it was fresh and nicely salted. For our meals, we ordered sushi rolls, and for the kiddos, Vegetable Lo Mein Noodles and Fried Rice. They were accommodating and allowed us to have mostly Broccoli as that's their favorite. My Surf and Turf Roll was good. Fresh and had good flavor. The wife's roll was good, as well. Kiddos loved their Fried Rice and Lo Mein. All in all a nice experience. RECOMMEDED read more

I started with the bao buns combo. Don't be fooled; the buns themselves look a bit plain for sure, but the fillings were so flavorful. Tender, juicy meats and tasty veg. Good stuff all around. I also got the Green Dragon sushi roll (which my waiter didn't hear me order at first, though I can't blame them considering the casino noise -- not extreme, but enough). A bit plain flavor-wise, but good quality. Rounded out well by a little wasabi. Only complaint was a lone shrimp shell in one of the sushi pieces, though someone else in my party had the same issue. Decor was beautiful, though it was a bit noisy, as mentioned. Both seem like things to expect from a casino, though. Overall, food was good quality and surprisingly filling, but a bit overpriced. I'd recommend the place, just have realistic expectations. read more

I was not impressed at all. First of all there is one table in the whole restaurant with 30 seats so you have to sit with other people either way. Second, I asked to substitute fried rice for steamed white rice and was told no. Meanwhile the people next to us brought their OWN crabs in and were allowed to eat them at the table !!!! Why ??? Last, my meal was not served as advertised and when the dessert came I was STILL left with my meal sitting in front of me. It was never taken away and I wasn't offered a box. Not that I wanted a box, but take meal away at least! My family really enjoyed their sushi but I wouldn't return. read more

Would not recommend, ever! Being in a casino, I thought they would have higher standards. The main dish was decent, but the sushi here (their main staple) sucked. I got the eel roll (sant remember the official name) and it was pretty bad. The eel was over cooked, they use way too much rice and not enough filling (akin to cheap sushi bars) and forgot the cream cheese. I ate half (three pieces, giving my guest one to try, and trying my best to eat another to not complain and waste the roll) and the server refused to take it off the check, and forced my guest and I to pay for the roll and have it replaced ( I didn't want another roll due to the quality, and would have happily paid for the half we ate). The server was kinda slow, talking to other employees and letting our food sit at the sushi bar (only grabbing our rolls after we watched them sit for a few minutes). The moral of the story is, don't order food from a casino. Casino buffets are ok, but the sushi bar here sucks. The kitchen entrees and appetizers were pretty good, but standard to what I could get at a Chinese restaurant. read more

This restaurant is located in the recently- renovated Seminole Hard Rock Casino located in Tampa. As you can see I had already started to eat before I thought to take a picture...reason being, I was starving and love this dish (steak, shrimp, and steak Fried Rice). I added a bit of sriracha sauce and low sodium soy sauce which I paid no more than $15.00 and had enough to share or take home for leftovers. Their food is cooked fresh to order in the blink of an eye. After a late night in Tampa, I seem to always find my self here ordering this same dish. I believe this restaurant is open 24 hours a day. I say this because I've been their at noon while also I've been there at 5am. The reasons I gave a 4 was because the hosting staff can appear a bit frazzled when there is a waiting in line, the waiting staff appear to be rushing (may be a good thing ), and I HATE the fact you sometimes have to sit with other people due to limiting seating and over all setting of the compact restaurant. read more

10/10!! Food was amazing and the service was fast. Better than PF Changs! Can't wait to go back to try more dishes.

I am giving this place a 3 for the deliciousness of its food and it's courteous staff. Sheryll was a doll and let me save 5 seats for our birthday party. The food was fresh and up to par. I did not care for the seating. I think the concept is fabulous but when you're in a huge casino full of hungry gamblers, I think they should have expanded a bit. It's a seat yourself concept, so first come first serve. I don't recommend coming here for an occasion or with a group. If you're at the casino alone or with one other person, than this is for you. read more

This place is upstairs from the casino Floor at the Hard Rock Seminole Casino. The service was very attentive and the place was not overly busy: the quality of the food was very good. Has the edamame and the salmon sashimi and both were very good. The portion sizes for both of those were very small, specifically it was small plate of edamame and small cuts of sashimi. For the prices, would have been nice to get a bigger potion. The portion sizes of some of the other dishes did look bigger, specifically some of the sushi rolls and the fried rice. The ambience was good. Not overly noisy, given its upstairs location. Still had a bit of the smell form the casino but not terrible and didn't impact the meal at all. Given the other options and wait times, this was decent pick. If someone else way paying, may come back again but unfortunately left hungry as we didn't want a $100 bill... read more

Cool spot but definitely not the best sushi I've ever had. Prettt bland in flavor but presentation was pretty. The Crab bun was quite tasty though. Their prices are a little high but I assume that because they are at the casino...they are cashing in on the wins of others. Wanted to go Noodle Bar but they were closed so I gave this place a try. Got the jalepano conch roll, beef pho and a chicken and salt fish fried rice to go. The conch roll was 6/10. Nothing exciting and a very basic roll....passable. The beef pho was 4/10. One of the worse I've ever had. Lacked any depth of flavor in the broth or meats. I can take you to several local spots where I would rather eat their $8.50 bowl of pho than to get this comped. The chicken and salted fish fried rice was 3/10. Hole in the wall Chinese take out is better than what I got and they didn't even put any salted fish in it! The excellent service is the only reason this place even deserves a 3 star rating. Sadly to say I've seen this happen in many casino restaurants. When the cooks have no standard of excellence to uphold (because its not their own business or no one to actually control food quality), they just dish out anything to the customers. read more

Located in the Hard Rock Casino (upstairs) right next to the buffet. We normally eat here everytime we visit the casino. The food comes fresh and fast. It not the cheapest of the Sushi and Sashimi style restaurants we visit (no 2 for 1 Saki) but the food is good for a casino location.
