I really liked the instructors, and at one point a police officer even came in and taught part of the class. The class was long, but between the instructions and the range shooting the time went quickly. I would highly recommend this class to anyone thinking about getting proper certification for concealed carry.

My original plan was to try out 2-3 instructors, then decide who I felt was the best fit for me in the sense of training style and personality. After my first session with Ben, my plans changed. It didn't take long to realize he is extremely knowledgable, but more importantly, his process of teaching makes you feel comfortable and speeds up the learning process. I thoroughly enjoy working with him, and am purchasing more sessions to train with him weekly to improve my skills.

As a person who has been to many firearms classes, is an instructor and a CRSO, this was one of the worst...ever. Literally, my mouth fell open on two occasions and I almost left both times. It was just awful. We were asked to leave comments on cards...our entire group of 14. We did not. There was no fixing it so what was the point? When you call and get the announcement it says "Idaho's Premier/Foremost/Best Training Facility ". That is not true, but it would be even more sad if it was. I cannot emphasize enough...it was such a disappointment and actually pretty sad because it has massive potential.

The teacher Raul was the most poorly trained instructor I have ever had in any firearms instruction. He was disorganized he seemed confused. We were rushed through the live firearm training. It was very basic training. Far too much of the time was spent hearing about how amazing he is. How much he has done through his life with different police departments. We left with a greater appreciation for the work these K9 teams do, and our kids haven't stopped talking about it. We highly recommend checking them out--we'll definitely be back!

Came here last week for the 1st time to try out my wife's new 38 special. Not having any…read moreexpectations but seeing the reviews was excited to try it out. This place has everything and I mean everything...you name it as it comes to guns, accessories and ammo. Inside the range facility was really blown away and the field marshals were super helpful. We are both a little newer to this and the support and help was awesome. Will for sure be back soon.

He is a former police officer, SWAT Sniper, SWAT range master and all around Badass gunslinger. His class was extremely professional concentrating on Safety, muzzle awareness, precision shooting and specialized shooting skills including position of Sul. If you're a person who has some basic skills with a firearm to former military and Law Enforcement you will walk away with lots more than you brought.

It was comprehensive, entertaining, and educational all while maintaining a 'lite' feel. There was a wide array of attendees ranging from complete new gun owners to those with moderate firearms experience. There was no pressure, 'judging', or intimidation from Klaus or fellow students. Klaus is surprisingly funny, and I found the guest speaker (an Idaho State Police Investigator) who spoke about Idaho laws and the use of deadly force to be especially interesting. The range time was held at Impact Guns. It's an excellent facility- clean, helpful employees, and our range marshal was very helpful. My wife just took his Basic Pistol Safety Class, and I am already enrolled in American Firearms Academy's AR-15 Level 1 Class and another Level 2 class occasionally offered. Enjoy his "nuggets"! I flew in from Las Vegas, NV to take Klaus' course because I heard he was the best in Boise. Well, I can honestly say it was the best course I'd ever attended! This was my 3rd course; having attended both Arizona and Nevada's previously.
