Terrible service, late shipment, and careless employees don't waste your money or time with this company. I got very bad results and still had to pay so much money to ship my items. Just terrible service. read more

The customer service rep that helped us was so kind and pleasant despite having to shout over a generator at times and struggling with the computer system. It was such an easy and fast transaction (unlike the post office post hurricane). The packages also made it to their destination at the quoted time. If you are on St. Thomas and need to send packages out, screw usps go to fed ex instead, since the hurricanes there is never anyone here, and there are loads of parking spots out back. They don't give him a tracking number, receipt or anything and tell him he's all set, good to go. By 11/14, the package still hasn't made its way to its destination. Hmmm that's super strange because UPS is fast. So we go back on 11/15 to see if what the hold up is. The hubby explains this to a customer service rep that says "well I wasn't here, hold on, my co-worker was" ( passes hot potato to co-worker that was). She then tells us, we should have received a tracking number and recipient where is it? Are you trying to pass this potato to us now?! Hubby has to call her out and say she was the one that took the package so why have the rules changed today and where is the package?? She tells us it's probably in the hold pile because we didn't provide a form of payment to send it back. Why wasn't this communicated before when it was dropped off and it's our fault we never provided payment? (Way to pass that one back) Low and behold the package was just sitting in the back for 24 days! Unbelievable! I ask if we can just take the package now and the rep reluctantly says she has to "redeliver" it to us and makes it seem as though it's a lengthy process that she doesn't want to do. The hubby asks if they could hold onto it to confirm an account number to charge and she says well it may get placed in the lost pile in Puerto Rico?? so we need to take it. Potato passed back and yes, we'll take it back and never come back! We went to FedEx right afterwards and the package was delivered the next morning. Do not use UPS on St. Thomas!!!!!!!!! #St.Thomas #USVI

When money is given and you get attitude, inconvenience, and no product...yes you are absolutely entitled to all those not so awesome frustrating emotions. Especially if the items are expensive like they are here. We had scheduled a time for a dishwasher to be delivered and installed and what do you know, no one showed up or even bothered to call. Setting up the appointment with that sales rep was difficult enough. When we called no "sorry" or "whoops, that sucks that you had to clear your schedule for this delivery. " The sales rep was down right indifferent and rude with no apologies and made us feel as though it was our fault. Thats just not ok. This got escalated to the owner of the store eventually and he had to get directly involved. He was was really nice, and was able to get the dishwasher installed for us but we could have done without the grief from that sales rep multiple times. The reason he got an "A-OK" rating and not higher was from an interaction I had a long time ago. He was a little nutty but probably having a bad day. It's dam near impossible to get an A/C tech in the islands let alone a good one. I think it may be a new owner now and I heard great things so don't let the three stars fool you. Quite frankly the reason I am giving this a 3 star is to build up my yelp rating. If I don't review things lower than 4 stars the Yelp "computer" won't count me as a valuable contributor. Came back to the Port of St. Thomas (US Virgin Islands) as the second port stop on a 7 day cruise…read moreon the Icon of the Seas with my brother. On such a large ship, they use the Crown Bay Cruise Port dock. Did a little more exploring this time. We were the first ship here, around 07:30. We got off the boat around 09:00 at which time the second boat hadn't come in yet. It was a bit drizzly, with the temps climbing to the low 80's in the day (not bad for early February). The pier is long enough for 3 doors on the Icon to be opened for entry/exit, and it was very easy to do so. The city center of Charlotte Amalie is about 2 miles away, too far to walk. Instead, found a restaurant open for brunch on Yelp, withing walking distance. Entry back into the port area requires a cursory check of your sea card. There were signs indicating the direction to go back via a walkway, but they had the route blocked off so need to follow the same route as vehicles. Crown Bay Center (outdoor shopping center) is located within this area as well, and we did a cursory look as we headed back to the ship. The terminal is named for Austin "Babe" Monsanto, a prominent politician in St Thomas, who was the Port Authority Marine Director for a long time. Entry back onto the ship was easy, ready for a 14:00 departure. What's crazy to me is that the bollards used to tie mooring lines to a ship, are the size of ones that you would see anywhere else. But these are the ones that can tie down the biggest passenger ship in the world. The scale of it seems off, but definitely not the case since the bollards I saw up close, will be used to tie down another mega ship later this afternoon.

Their trucks can hold 5000 gallons of water per run ( which can fill up a smaller cistern) and they are super reliable which is something you need a water company to be out here. Dadlies was also one of the first water hauling companies to start delivering post hurricanes and my husband has had good experiences with them for his company (all around from delivery, customer service, and the paperwork).
