Where do you shop for quality, pretty sterling silver jewelry pieces? There's just one store that I…read moredepend on for this and it's located right here in our very own Kahala Mall. Sold here are just two kinds of wardrobe necessities: (1) Purses of all types that are more unusual to find that at the same time are fancy and or somehow unique, and (2) Delicate, sometimes intricate, higher-end, fashionable and fashion jewelry sometimes not but often made of sterling silver that also but not always tend to have a Hawaiian Island vibe. I don't mind the island vibe. I'm here for the European-look pieces. When this store is open (meaning that it's not boarded up secured for the day), walk around the perimeter to look in through the glass windows and showcase "walls". When you find what you want, go to the opened end of the kiosk to inform the salesperson what you'd like to see and the willing salesperson will retrieve it for you to inspect. Amazingly they have perfected warehouse inventory as not only is this kiosk small yet impactful but makes for really quick shopping. If you've not got a lot of time, this kind of kiosk shopping is really efficient. They'll put your items in boxes and or ziplock sleeves and a cute brown paper or floral bag, oh and hey, don't forget to ask for that gift receipt if ya need one! It was here I got my favorite pair of dangly sterling silver earrings. Quite pricey at the time but let me tell you about the joy I feel whenever I've got them on. It took me some time to realize I liked them and get over the price when first seeing them, and by the time I realized I'd been thinking about them non-stop, it was already too late to get a matching necklace. Drats! Please learn from my painful lesson :( and get what you see when you find something here that you love! :) Most things sold here are limited quantity and also all sales final. Like any other place it can be hit or miss according to your taste vs. what the shop owner finds thru what her resource jewelry- and purse-makers envision but because you'll never know what you'll find, be prepared for that moment when you fall in love with something pretty, unique, gorgeous, or downright smashing! Located right in the middle of Kahala Mall across from Apple between Compleat Kitchen and Banana Republic, in the main connecting walkway no matter from which entrance you enter the mall :) They operate same hours as the mall, usually until 9pm, or later if it's Christmastime. With this quick and easy unique-finds shopping experience, I wouldn't be surprised at all if this becomes your go-to place for pretty jewelry and purse finds, too!

System is quite smart as you're free to brows to your heart content since all inventory are behind glass which is a safer viewing and if you're ready for any help all you need to do is sign in at the counter and they will call you when it's your turn. I do really wish that they have what each of the crystals represent along with the names of them to take with you as I do know the basic though am a total novice to the more selective ones...though I'm sure you can ask as well as some of us are not that familiar with it all. Many of the crystals are large and do have smaller ones in a different area though not able to please all is understandable it's not quite a jewelry crafters place even if they have that decent section just wished it was more. it's super solid here that certainly shines bright! The whole store is made up of Hawaiian themed merchandise. There were jewelry, cards, body care items and tons of clothes. They have some really cute items. My friend purchased a set of plastic flower beads to string together to make a necklace. What caught my eye that I really wanted was the sunrise shell necklace. I've always wanted one. The shell has the pink and yellow colors on it to mimic the sunrise. I'm contemplating on getting it as I've wanted one for a while.

I went in and out of the dressing rooms a few times while trying on outfits, and none of them had a basket or spot for purses. Each time I had to hang my handbag on a hanger with the clothes, since I refuse to put my handbag on the dirty ground. Finally, the very last dressing room I tried did have a basket at the bottom, which was much better. The clothing and jewelry are adorable -- some even look handmade -- and I did buy a few outfits and a cute pair of earrings. Prices are on the higher side, but the pieces are unique and eye-catching, so if you're looking for something different, it might be worth it. Unfortunately, checkout brought the experience down. Since I didn't need a bag, the sales associate handed me my clothes directly, but forgot my earrings. I didn't notice until I was halfway home. I tried looking everywhere for a phone number -- Yelp, the Ala Moana directory, the internet -- and couldn't find one. The only number I found just rang with no answer. So instead of calling, I had no choice but to drive all the way back through traffic. When I arrived, the sales associate saw me, handed me the earring, and said she was "going to text me." No apology, no "sorry for the inconvenience" -- nothing. Considering they have my number from the rewards program sign-up, that was disappointing. Overall, Sugar Sugar is a cute boutique with stylish pieces, but expect boutique pricing and limited dressing room amenities. The service could use improvement, especially when mistakes happen.

It makes feel sad seeing such beautiful dresses just collecting dust but I saw that House of Jovelle does consigning so I went to her shop to help my dresses find a new home. You can also go on to her website and see how the process works. https://houseofjovelle.com/sell-with-us *Location & Parking* The shop is located inside a building called "Waipahu Plantation Marketplace" and parking is free for 2 hours. I entered the left side of the building glass doors, walk down straight into the hallway, then I turned left to see 'Noime's Boutique'. *Shop ambiance* When you enter you'll see that left side of the shop will be House of Jovelle and the right of side of the shop looks like is shared with other boutique vendor. Jovelle's shop is filled with a huge collection of prom, pageant, cocktail, bridal dresses! There's also a separate dresses of rental dresses but if you ended up falling in love with a dress in the rental section and you would like to own it, you may have to discuss with Jovelle with the price difference. Not only her shop specializes in dresses, there's is also a huge array of jewelry, purses, and heels to help compliment your dresses! There's even invisible bras, dress tapes, and nipple covers! Truly an one stop shop for all your formal wear needs! She has 2 huge changing rooms, just in case your wondering. *Consignment process* Jovelle warmly greeted me and I asked her if she can help me with the consigning process. She asked me where I bought the dress, dress brand's name, how much I bought it for, what's the size, and she took pictures of my prom dresses. You also discuss with her if you would like to sell or rent out your dress so I went with the rental option. After she's done documenting, she'll have you sign some digital forms on her ipad. Very easy and smooth process! 2 weeks later, Jovelle contacted me that someone bought one of my rental dresses! They loved it so much they had to own it! Which was a huge compliment for me because my dress finally found a forever home :) she sent my commission through Venmo. Thank you again Jovelle for making my experience stress free! 10/10 recommend everyone to shop here!

Though I had a very small tine frame and the tint shop was crowded so I headed back to my car only to have found Lucky Penny which had been on my "check" list as retail therapy can cost you quite a bit...well for me and with places like Lucky Penny to doesn't have to be that way with some of the items they carry. First of all I've read some of the reviews and understand that you need to place your personal belongings in the locker that I don't mind doing if anything it frees up your hands to swish the price tags around the many items which I love better than a sticker as it just leave more of a mess. One thing I do admit that some of the items are priced a bit higher in comparison to other thrift shops but really couldn't tell which are used and which are "newer" I guess you can say as the tags has two numbers one for the locker and the other the actual price. While I do feel like I'm at a local craft fair as some of the items are very similar with Disney Popsockets, Forever lei charms and lots of hair clips. I did purchase a couple items one happens to be on sale a hair clip for $5 and tote for $10 which is very crafty as it's a sewn cloth into a bag shape tied to a shoulder strap was kind cool and unique as the staff was okay as they don't have to follow you since you put basically everything you have in a locker. It's a matter of what types of folks bring in is the real find as it seems to be on Saturdays but since it's locals supporting locals it's a nice place for anyone to start without going to markets so it's the Lucky find. Thank you!

I was actually looking for another small business when there was a free parking space right in front of the store: Lucky Penny I didn't know what it was all about, so I went inside, took a look around, and asked a few questions. What a catchy name for a vintage consignment store, right? Each "closet" or shelf/rack area contains merchandise from a local vendor. The items range from Aloha Collection bags and Trader Joe's coolers to dresses from Manuheali'i and Always a-line. I also saw handmade jewelry, gently worn shoes, fancy children's clothing, men's Aloha shirts, designer handbags, etc. The items change weekly, so if you see something you like, grab it! The tags have prices set by each vendor... with their vendor number on the tag. This is such a great concept! Note: there's a bag policy. Lock your purse/tote/backpack in a locker at the front door and shop hands free!
