It's also important to note that Mike is a licensed contractor. Mike came to the house at the appointed time and date and reviewed my list and checked out the areas where the work was needed. He gave me an estimate based on the number of hours he thought the work would take over a three-day period. Having been around the block many times regarding home repair, I found the estimate to be competitive and reasonable. I hired Mike. He arrived on the job promptly every morning. When we asked them to be more conscientious and considerate of our property, we got a bunch of attitude and aggression from both the painters and their manager Dave. When we brought up our issues to the owner, Matthew, we got the same angry/aggressive response as if we were in the wrong for speaking up. I don't know too many companies that stay in business by bullying and gaslighting their customers, but these guys are certainly trying!
