Matt provided excellent design suggestions that were incorporated into the final result and the attention to detail were far superior to any other contractors we have worked with. We interviewed four contractors for this job and selected FR because Matt both listened carefully to us and also offered his own good ideas. They gave us a detailed and competitive estimate and we liked the idea that both owners of FR, Matt and Rich, would be onsite and doing a good part of the work themselves. As it turned out, they were simply excellent to work with at every stage of the process. FR is apparently a sought-after group and we waited about 4 months for them to start our project. During that time, Lindsay responded to our questions in a timely and friendly manner with detailed emails about what we should be doing in advance (e.g., selecting the tile, vanity, light fixtures etc.) and suggestions about which companies to check out in the area. Matt and Rich have assembled a group of skilled craftsmen who each are personable, hardworking and diligent. They arrived punctually at 9 am each day, worked steadily throughout the demolition, wiring, plumbing, drywalling, tiling, carpentry, painting and finishing touches. In the process, they took great care to protect our hallway tile, stairway and wood floors, kept things as tidy as possible, and cleaned up at the end of each day. As a result, we were able to stay in our house during the entire project. They completed the job in just over two weeks and it was impressive to watch how they coordinated the many different steps with a crew of 7. Matt oversaw the project, and also handled the plumbing, wiring, tiling, and more. He is particularly skilled at setting tile and did an artful job matching tile patterns on the floor and the tub surround. Rich built shelves in the bathroom and walk-in closet and they turned out beautifully with functional design and excellent craftsmanship. The team members were all easy to interact with and each showed great attention to detail and pride in their work. We've done a lot of house renovations (including 4 previous bathrooms) and it's clear to us that Falcon Renovations are at the top of their game. They do quality work, are as unintrusive as possible, listen carefully to your ideas and yet also have great suggestions, work well as a team and with other contractors, and clearly care about the quality of their work. We highly recommend them and plan to work with them again in the future on other projects.

Dan, Jim, and Team did a wonderful job reimagining our kitchen. Throughout the process, they were…read moretransparent about the status, gave their opinions without any pressure whatsoever to make a certain decision, and built our new kitchen with readily apparent pride and craftsmanship. I'm stunned by how the final product matches the original renderings so accurately -- this was our first construction project that had no unpleasant surprises! The team was like part of the family, and we were on a first name basis with everyone who came in to work on the project. Our home was always left clean and secure, making it much easier to be here while the construction was taking place. Through temporary walls and a dining room magically turned into a temporary kitchen that the team set up, we had a somewhat normal life as this was all taking place. We absolutely wouldn't hesitate to hire Hometown again or recommend them to anyone seeking a team that will work closely with you and truly care about your home.

I could not be happier with how my kitchen turned out! I'm amazed that they were able to see the potential in what I thought was a lost cause and then make it a reality for me. My cramped cave-like kitchen is now bright, airy, and inviting! I cannot speak more highly of Hometown. Let them show you what they can do - you will not be disappointed!

I just wanted to clarify my experience -- short and simple- you confirmed an appt you didn't keep and then decided not to accept a project/work further because my tone of frustration (of which your lack of communications was the root cause ) was not acceptable. You say you "value mutual respect and clear communication in every client relationship. " Unfortunately, you didn't even communicate until I contacted you to ask if you were still coming. I also value respect and clear communication which did not occur with your tone and lack of accountability in how you handled the matter. Hopefully this feedback will help future prospective clients.
