Our job that was preformed was very expensive and the high level of errors they made and the laziness the painters showed was totally unexceptable. After the painters first day we noticed several errors that still needed completion in areas we were told would dry well and were complete. Imagine our surprise when we looked over our home and saw numerous locations on our home that paint was missing or very faint and several paint spills. It was an absolute nightmare. The painters returned to fix there errors and to put all blame for the terrible work done on the helper they brought with them. They then asked us if we were ok with the individual who supposedly was to blame for the mistakes to return to clean up his errors. We told them no and that we just wanted the errors fixed and done correctly without anymore hiccups. After the errors were corrected there were still more errors and the painting lacked good quality. The painters then returned again with new helpers and we were told the wrong primer was used and sanding needed to take place. This was very baffling to us as we thought we were dealing with and had hired professionals who were knowledgeble of the proper steps to take when painting an exterior home. The fact that they had to go back and re-do several times there work was very questionable and gave us pause. We were also repeatedly given the excuse "thats a tough spot, or thats a high peak". We hired certa pro for a job it should'nt have mattered how tall the house was. We were kind enough to allow the painters to use our restroom and we were stunned to notice that they actually used the restroom outside in our yard!!!After all this they had to come back another day to fix more errors that we noticed again. This was a job that we were told would take one to two days to complete and certa pro ended up coming multiple times to fix errors we pointed out. It would'nt have mattered the amount of time it took to get the job done we just wanted it done right and not to have to keep calling them back to fix problems. The painters didn't appear to have throughly examined there own work. They left us with anything and did not care about the quality or hoped we would'nt notice. There attitudes also became very rude and they were irritated with us for noticing they did not do there job properly. . The painters did not do the exempliary work certa pro supposedly represented. . We pointed out errors and as a result we suffered for work we expected to be done correctly. When we paid certa pro right after the first day of poor quality work they performed it was easy to contact them. I reached out to the manager for a survey and still have not received a response.... They did not treat us properly . Certa pro has also not followed up after so many errors to check if things were ok with the project. We were not offered a apology or any sort of compensation for what we suffered with the amount of errors that occurred with this project. Instead they have distanced themselves from us and not worked to keep a good customer relationship. It is very much bad for business.

From the moment they brought their equipment in to the time they left, every action was completed with the upmost care and expertise. The living room needed to have wallpaper removed, new reapplied, and painting to the moldings and ceiling. They came in right on time at 8 AM. They worked steadily and quietly. When they left for the day, the living room was left neatly. BUT, all this, while great, is easily surpassed by the professionals they had installing and painting! So professional yet personable. So ready to respond to a question about the project. So neat and clean (hasn't always been the case on other inside work). Pricing. Someone wrote they were expensive. I asked four companies to submit a proposal for the work. Kurt Schwartz Decorating was neither the highest nor the lowest proposal. His was in the middle. Added bonus, Kurt, himself, came every morning when his team was there to answer any questions before the start of the day. The living room looks amazing! The wallpaper and paint were applied meticulously. It couldn't have been done any better. It is the first time I had them come here; it won't be the last!

We reached out to numerous companies and Profeta came out within 2 days, gave us a quote, and we accepted them to complete the job. The two painters they had working at our house were always on time, very professional, and would provide me text updates on what was happening. With us moving in to the house, there were a lot of holes/patches that needed to be done that were left from the previous owner. Profeta Painting patched and sanded everything needed and it looks great. Overall, I'm very pleased with the work they did and it was well worth the money.

Once I paid (in cash), a promised return to rectify any problems never happened. Important parts of the work are not finished, and my calls and messages are being ignored. Had an uneasy feeling when he showed up with nothing but a regular car. No crew, no drop cloths. The attached photos show just SOME of the way he left the job after taking my money. Also: I have filed a complaint with the NYS attorney generals' office. Storan undoubtedly thinks little old ladies aren't computer-savvy enough to find out personal information about people who defraud them. It would've been so easy to defuse this bomb, Jim.
