Hot food and salad bars around the deli area.
    Andres R.

I wanted to give a roaring applause to this supermarket which was the only establishment where I could find a hot bowl of soup around 11:15 am this cold cloudy morning in central Bridgewater. Their chicken noodle soup is delicious and you can add Parmesan cheese shavings to make it extra tasty, and other toppings or sauces available in the buffet salad and hot food bars. The self-serve bars are very clean and you are provided with quality plastic silverware, soup crackers, napkins for a very reasonable price. Of course, it would be better if an in-store dining area was provided, but if you are careful about your food choices you can easily eat your lunch in your car or back at your job. Also, you can get a water bottle for about $0.79 which is almost half the cost of water bottles in nearby eateries. And their restrooms are also very clean. Not to mention there's plenty of parking space in the plaza, as opposed to attempting to obtain a parking space at the Central Square.

Sorry I don't care about the quality of there food, paying 400 a week (with coupons) a week on groceries is a little much.

I was a little unsure of what to expect at first but decided to be adventurous. The food was beyond words, only on Yelp you get words and pictures (and I didn't take any... oops). Let me start by saying everything here, meats, sauces, and relishes, are made from scratch. The only thing that comes pre-made is the rolls. Everything else is made with love, something commercially made products never had. I started with the brisket... Grilled to perfection, and seasoned oh-so-wonderfully! A melt in your mouth experience, and one that pairs amazingly with the BBQ mustard. I will be paying for that deliciousness in the gym at a later date... Even if every muscle and tendon is aching after, worth it, and I'd happily do it again. By the way, I love the sauce thing they have going here, the meats are great by themselves, but the sauces add a whole new dimension of flavor! By virtue of the deliciousness, and because of how interesting it is, I couldn't resist trying the onion bomb. Bacon-wrapped hamburger with onion. Again, I was a little skeptical but went for it anyway. This work of art is like a good, old whiskey... smooth as silk, with the meat having a great amount of moisture. Like the brisket, seasoned to perfection. Flavors played really nicely together, and the meat was nice and moist. Looking forward to trying more great stuff next time!

Food was amazing, delivered, hot, and very tasty. We hosted a party for approximately 40 people and the food was more than enough and of the highest quality.

Neither of us really knew what a personal chef service looked like. We love cooking but we didn't/don't have time during the week to cook. We hoped we'd get more vegetables into our diet at a minimum. That not eating out would mean less of the white devils (sugar, salt). I reached out to The Skinny Beet in a frenetic and desperate state last December. Since they've entered our lives the sun is shining, the clouds have parted and Mondays are happy (re: they are miracle workers). We have been a weekly client with The Skinny Beet for almost 3 months now. At the end of 1 month we reached out to them and shared a list of each positive benefit directly or indirectly related to hiring them as personal chefs. I would like to share this list with you (reader of my review): 1. My husband and I spend more time together. 2. We portion control better. 3. We work out more (have time to work out). 4. We feel better: less groggy, less irritable, more energy. 5. The food they make tastes flavorful, wholesome and satisfying. We get to eat our favorite cuisines with less of the sugar/salt and more grain/vegetable variety than what we know how to cook. 6. We waste less. 7. The brain space we wasted thinking about what to eat, what to cook, when to go pick things up, crap-I-forgot-an-ingredient --- Poof! Gone. Which, working full time while part time grad school, any and all brain space I can allocate to my work is priceless for me. From Week One: Flexibility with schedule and menu planning was made easy for us - We come home and our kitchen tools and pans lovingly (and somewhat expensively) acquired over time are clean - There are delicious dishes made with quality ingredients ready for devouring in the fridge. We are so grateful for the difference The Skinny Beet has made in our quality of life. Seriously, I wasn't kidding: Miracle Workers.

Well in just a couple hours we were able to cover SO much ground. From making a delicious salsa and homemade chips, to a steak and a chicken, even farro with caramelized onions. Not only did I learn tons of REALLY helpful skills that I've already been implementing, but I had delicious food that lasted me for a handful of meals THAT I HELPED MAKE! They brought all their own ingredients and left my kitchen completely spotless (possibly cleaner than how they found it) I am so thankful to these two and I look forward to our next lessons.
