AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Our driver Corrado Meneghini arrived earlier than expected and was rushing us…read moreto depart earlier than our designated departure time. We arrived at the Malpensa bus location that was described only to discover that our driver chose to pick-up passengers from another point in the airport. He was unable to give us proper instructions to find his location, proceeded to be rude and insulting, and THREATENED to leave us behind if we could not find him (and this would still have been at least 15 minutes before our designated departure time). The van and location were unmarked and did not have the Arriva name, making it very difficult to find. Even people who worked at the airport station were unaware of the location. When we departed Milano-Malpensa for Aosta, we were still 10-15 minutes ahead of our original departure time. We would not recommend this bus service and would highly recommend taking a FlixBus instead. We have extensive experience traveling through Italy, and this was unlike anything we've ever experienced.

I contacted Natalie last minute to plan a trip and she came through with flying colors! My wife and I kept changing our tropical destinations but Natalie always looked up all of our options for the ever-chaning destinations and never complained about the constantly moving target. Natalie was super responsive, always picked up the phone when I called, always friendly and professional, always answered emails promptly and always got back to me quickly with the latest travel options. We ended up booking a trip to Turks and Caicos which was great. If you have to travel and don't want to deal with planning your own trip, I highly recommend you use travel agent Natalie Faggianelli of Bayside Travel located in Larchmont (with a satellite office in Bronxville)!!

Very disappointed in Ron and the people he outsourced our travel oversight to in Argentina…read more 1. About one month before the trip, Ron told us that the remaining balance of thousands of dollars should be brought to Argentina and used to directly pay our tour guide. This is despite the fact that we had a contract that specifically stated that final payment could be credit card , venmo, or check. We told him we were uncomfortable bringing that much cash to a foreign country. He reluctantly gave in and accepted payment. 2. There was a strike with aerolineus while we were there. We were alerted by Paula, who was our go to person in Buenos Aires. She told us to call the airline and change our flight. Although This was great advice, it wasn't practical. We tried and tried but were unable to accomplish anything due to the language barrier and other factors. The concierge in our hotel rescued us and did it with us. He told us that there was no way we could have done this in our own. Paula should have helped. She could have come to our hotel and did what the concierge did. Or, speak to the concierge and set us up. She didn't even bother. 3. We were booked for the asado tour. Instead of telling us about the strike the night before or in the am, paula told us at 11:15am while the tour pick up was noon. Because we had to deal with that, we missed over one hour of the tour. 4. They booked us a room in calafate with no air conditioning. When i questioned this, ron told me most hotels don't have air conditioning in this area. This hotel had many rooms that had air conditioning. Just not ours! 5. We arrived in calafate with no directions or contact person. We wandered around airport looking for someone with our name card. When we didn't see anyone, we contacted paula. Then, we found the company. If she had told us the name of the company in advance, that issue would have been avoided. 6. We were treated as if we are demanding. What??? We didnt ask for much. A room with a/c, a contact person when we are arriving in a city in an airport, ?? We had a wonderful vacation and love Argentina. Just can't recommend b2.

Our hotels were terrific in both Tel Aviv and Jerusalem they included (fresh breakfast daily for us.... great idea to include hotel breakfast!) Our daughter was attending a weeklong conference in Tokyo with Google/YouTube and had asked us if we were interested in joining her, as she planned to do some more touring after her conference was over, over the Thanksgiving holidays in 2019. We jumped at the chance. We had ideas about some of the cities and activities we were interested in, however, we also had to take into account the use a rollator, as I was planning on a hip replacement early in 2020, and it was crucial that I rely on it. I had already booked the three of us in a brand new boutique hotel close to our daughter's Tokyo conference for the first week when she would be working and my husband and I would be visiting sites. Kervin seamlessly, incorporated the Tokyo week into our touring and included tours with our daughter whenever her schedule allowed. He paired us with private guides throughout the trip, who were knowledgeable and most enjoyable. From Tokyo, we visited Takayama, Shirakawa-go, Kyoto, Nara, Hiroshima and back to Tokyo for our return home. Explorient worked with us when we preferred a different hotel in Kyoto, and all the activities and guides they provided based on our preferences were top notch. Ranging from rickshaw tours, boat tours, tea ceremonies, cooking lessons. foodie tours, sake tasting, shrines, temples, and museums visits, (just to name a few), as well as all our train travel including Shinkansen trips and luggage transfers were on time and without glitches. We look back on this holiday and on Explorient's expert guidance as one on our most if not the most enjoyable of all our vacations.
