Josh was very thorough in his explanation and the estimate seemed fair and reasonable. My installer was great. His name was Mark. He had a young lady helping to who unfortunately I cannot remember we moved her name. Both very professional and friendly. Mark was also a Navy veteran of many years and I'm glad to see Edministen hiring men like him who served our country so faithfully. I asked Mark a lot of questions as and he was patient and very helpful explaining things. Even had to come back out to fix one small problem a couple days later and said he'd arrive at 2:00. Guess what, at 2:00, he pulled in the driveway. The install took all day and they worked to complete the work and were done by 5:00 or so. So far so good on the unit. Very pleased with the work that was done! Great people to work with and very good communication which is rare at times anymore.

Mark, the service technician, was courteous, professional and immediately found the problem, a frozen drain pipe. By the end of the day, our heating system was working like a charm. Last evening was very snowy as well as an undercoat of ice on our roads making the roads very dangerous ,but he was still going to make it to our guests in Blowing Rock however, our guests deemed it to dangerous for him to drive and we put our guests in another room for the night instead. Mike was willing and ready this morning to drive to Blowing Rock and solve our no heat issue !! And he did , we had had this issue a few times before and had it checked out with no avail! thankfully Mike figured out the problem and made a family of four and us very happy !! I got a text two days later asking if I still needed help. I said "YES", and requested help the next day if they could manage. They never got back to me, just left me hanging. Apparenly they might help you if and when they feel like it. Needless to say they will not be doing my new install. Why would I want to hook up with a company that didn't even answer their 24 hour call line, wait 2 days to get back to me with emergency service, and ignore me a second time when I still needed help. Ridiculous.

The advisor came to the house on May 14th. Nothing since then. We called another company, due to the lack of response.

Called to have a leaking A/C drain pan in my air handler replaced and a standard service / checkup…read more They had to order the drain pan and I agreed to replace the drain trap and was quoted 2-3 days and $1040 for the whole job. I had to call a week later as i hadn't heard anything and was told it will take another week for the drain pan to come in due to manufacturing delays. A week later they called and the technicians came out and did the replacement and service without issue. The job seemed expensive but I was told they would have to pump down and break the Freon lines to get the drain pan out. This added extra time/labor and inflated the cost. Looking at how tight the Freon lines were to the air handler, this seemed to make sense. The technicians did not have to pump down the system, as they were able to replace the drain pan without cutting the lines, saving everyone time and effort. The final bill ended up being $1300!!! Almost 30% more expensive than quote. When I questioned the price, I spoke to the office person who told me they sent 2 people for the job so they wouldn't have to cut the lines, which saved me money (???!!!) I don't get it - 2 people and half the time is the same as 1 person at twice the time in labor. The techs were great! The management should focus on customer satisfaction and getting repeat business. They'll never get my business again.
