Stations were well-stocked. The quality was solid fare. Everything was fresh and good, though not Michelin-star gourmet. A few items (like the overcooked Brussels sprouts) were hit-or-miss, but overall satisfying. Service was attentive and friendly; servers kept water glasses filled. I was doing much better after just one lesson, but even better after the second, and now after my third, I really feel confident I can do this! Explaining why know I can do this! I can't explain why or how... but his determination and confidence in what I can do made me believe I could too. He made changes to my stance and grip and showed me why and how the small adjustments make a big difference . He, unfortunately, had to have unexpected life-threatening surgery and was out of commission for a bit due to this. I reached out to RJ this week since he was the instructor listed on the gift certificate to see when we can schedule golf lessons and then I received a call from Gil asking why I was reaching out to RJ and what he had to do with any of this. He hardly gave me a chance to speak and then he said that the gift certificate is expired and that RJ and Gil have retired. He didn't even give me a chance to explain what had happened or suggest whether there was anyone else that could provide the lessons. He then hung up in a hurry stating the certificate is expired and that he only provided service from November - April anyway. Maybe in upcoming November he can do something for us is what he suggested. Very poor, disappointing service. He seemed to have enough time on his hands last May when it came to accepting my $210 for the gift certificate. If he was kind, empathetic, and allowed me a moment to speak, I would understand his point. Unfortunately, this was not the case. I hope the rest of the golf community is not as cut-throat as this group.

I figured I should get fitted for clubs and then try a golf lesson. I found JPK golf instruction here on yelp, read the great reviews and decided to book a half hour lesson. I am so thankful I decided to do this. John was friendly, took the time to ask me about my goals, about my game, any injuries, my best club vs. worst club and even spent the time to review the data from a Ping club fitting session that I had just gone through earlier in the day. He then had me do some warm-up swings and took some video which we reviewed together as he pointed out what I was doing well and what needed fixing. He gave me three things to change/work on and before the half hour was done I was hitting the ball better than I ever have. I could not believe it. It felt so good to actually hit the ball down the middle of the fairway! hah hah! After I left I was hoping that what he thad taught me would stick - and apparently it has. Groupon had another coupon which brought our total down to $49.60. The indoor golf facility is spacious and offers lobby seating area, a massive putting green, and two bays, with one more being added at the time of our visit. I don't know much about golf simulators, but theirs seemed to be cutting edge technology. They use GOLFZON technology which features moving swing plates and motion plates, auto tees, multi-surface play, and more. It was really neat and shows you your swing stats. I was so happy to see the baby blue and pastel yellow napkins and table runner (It's a boy!). It was cute and classy at the same time. Russell had decided to move us to another room within the facility, and we did not expect it and were speechless when we saw it. He told me we'd be more comfortable in the larger room (We'd had a bigger number than we'd originally thought.), and I thought that was just really nice of him to think of the customer that way. We chose a lunch buffet that was delicious and not so heavy. It's super hot here, and I don't think anyone wants to have a huge lunch. My mom & I had made all the desserts, but all of my serving pieces were in storage. Russell and crew took care of that! They made my desserts look so pretty I almost didn't believe that I had made them! I had also opted for the chocolate fountain because -pregnant lady! Speaking of the staff.
