Pick a weekend when you can fully commit your time and energy, and take this class! Whether you've…read morenever touched a motorcycle or have been around them your entire life, everyone is welcome, and you'll leave the weekend feeling more confident in your riding skills. I've been around bikes or riding dirt bikes and motorcycles for most of my life (about 30 years, from age 3 to 33), but I never truly felt confident in my riding until I took this course. Even if you've been riding for a long time, you can still learn a lot about the fundamentals and the physics behind motorcycle riding. One of the instructors, Rick, was very efficient and clearly explained how the course would work and what to expect during the in-person riding days. The presentations, demonstrations, structure, and overall instruction exceeded my expectations. The instructors have a great way of breaking things down so they're easy to understand and apply in real time. At times, it can feel a bit stressful trying to understand everything in such a short time, but if you take notes and pay attention you'll be fine. Plus, it's more of an excited, motivated kind of stress, you want to succeed. They provide all the tools you need to pass both the written and practical exams and do a great job preparing you for the DMV written test as well. One major benefit is that if you pass this course, you won't need to take the DMV riding test, which relieves a lot of additional stress. Big thanks to Rick, Bob, and Elliot for taking the time to teach us the fundamentals and help us feel safe and confident on a motorcycle.

From Zero to Zooming: A 32-Year-Old's Success Story!…read more If you're like me--32 years old, never touched a motorized bike in your life, and feeling a little late to the party--stop scrolling and book your course here immediately. I walked in with zero experience and a healthy dose of nerves, but I walked out with a license and a massive grin on my face! The Secret Sauce: Dave, Elliot, and Bob What truly sets this school apart is the incredible dream team of instructors. Having Dave, Elliot, and Bob working together is an absolute game-changer. Here's why they're the best in the business: * Dave's precision: He has an eagle eye for technique. He corrected my posture and clutch control in ways that made everything "click" instantly. He also teaches real-world safety--especially how to stay safe in situations you might not expect when you're brand new. * Elliot's patience: As a first-timer, I was nervous about looking far enough ahead down the road. Elliot has a calm, steady energy that turns anxiety into focused confidence. * Bob's wisdom: Bob knows every "what if" scenario you can imagine. His safety insights weren't just lessons--they were potentially life-saving tips, delivered with a great sense of humor. The Big Benefit Having these three icons meant I got three unique perspectives on every maneuver. If I didn't grasp a concept at first, the next instructor explained it with a different analogy that made it crystal clear. It's like having a personalized pit crew dedicated to your success. Why It's Never Too Late I worried that at 32 I'd be the "old student" who couldn't keep up. I couldn't have been more wrong. The environment here is supportive, professional, and--most importantly--safe. Huge thanks to the team for helping me ride safely and giving me the skills to hit the open road. Dave, Elliot, and Bob: you guys are truly exceptional. Thank you for changing my life and helping me start this new chapter on two wheels. Still nervous about starting late? Don't be--just get here.

Decided to brush up on my Spanish after many years out of the classroom, I'm going back. Was given choices, shown the text books and had all questions answered and then some more! Looking forward to starting! If the registration process was as smoothly as the classes will be, this is gonna be a wonderful adventure. Thank you Conejo Valkley Education for being an excellent resource for our community.

I have been out of the administrative world since 2008. At that time I had jobs as executive…read moreassistant or office manager. Obviously technology has passed me by. I recently enrolled at Conejo Valley adult education for a certificate program for office manager in order to get back up to speed in order to support myself after my divorce is final. It is a scary time... but fortunately for me, Chris Wilson has been my teacher for the first two classes in my certificate program. He is so thorough and makes sure every student knows what they are doing. I suddenly feel empowered. Because I am not just going through the motions. I am re-learning what I knew so long ago after many years. The class projects that he gives us proves to me that I actually know what he's teaching. I did not think I would be able to get back what I have lost. It is apparent that Mr. Wilson loves his job and he truly is rooting for his students and is willing to help them however he can. I recently had an early meeting with my attorney during class hours which I could not change. So I ended up being over an hour late for class. He was so accommodating and came to me during class break and caught me up on everything that the rest of the class had gone over that morning. Mr. Wilson has been my instructor for the first two classes for my certificate program. I can only hope that as I move forward, any other instructor that I encounter at the Conejo Valley adult school will be as knowledgeable, enthusiastic and patient as he has been with the entire class.
