Horrible service, horrible attitude, and threatened me more than once with a lawsuit. This seems more like a blackmail business than a pool business. This isn't the first time I've heard this kind of thing happen with this guy. He broke my pool jets and made a huge hole in the wall of the pool. I didn't want to pay him until I could figure out the pricing to fix everything HE broken, but he threatened to take me to court. Avoid this scam and unprofessional/lazy organization!!! I wish I knew this before I paid $2000 for permanent damages and a bad pool liner installation. When we opened our pool which was late in the season due cooler than normal weather in NC we had a large tear in the liner.I started shopping around for local liner replacement company's with good reviews.I came upon Robinhood pools they had great reviews all 5 star on the website so my husband gave the owner Chris Dixon a call.He asked us to take pictures and give him a ball park measurement and message it to him and he would get back to us with a price.He got back with a price which was good .My husband said ok let's do this When do you want to come out and measure and finalize the deal.That was the 15 of June! Every time we contacted him we either go no answer or he was busy.Look I get it this is a busy time for installers I told him that! Plus we were involved in a large project installing an elevator since I am partially disabled.So here it is June 30th and he says he will be out at 10am .My husband and I are both down stairs waiting for him to come .10:30 rolls around and he's not here.Hubby messages him asks if he's comming he says I was there knocked on the door twice no answer so I left.I HAVE A DOORBELL RIGHT NEXT TO THE DOOR! He says he's at another job and no he's not comming back! So my husband says I guess you don't want my job!!! He replies NO I DON'T NEED YOUR JOB OR YOUR MONEY!!!.Now FIY my husband ran his own construction company before we retired here.YOU NEVER TALK TO A POTENTIAL CLIENT LIKE THAT EVER! I would love to recommend Robin Hood Pools, but unfortunately I cannot. Chris Dixon, the owner, supplies a fair price. And that's all that can be said about his business practices. He replaced two pool liners for me. The second one he stiffed me $80 for a part I didn't need. I reached out to him numerous times to either refund me the money I paid or return the part and receipt to me. Neither happened despite his promises. He then ignored my voicemails and text messages. I wrote an unfavorable review giving Robinhood Pools 1 star. There was a snafu in our business dealings, but Mr. Dixon has set everything right. I tried to take that review down, but I haven't been successful in figuring out how to do that.
