Of course he handled our simple request, but when we mentioned we were originally from SoCal, he mentioned his SoCal family connection, and we started naming some of the same places from years ago! What a truly nice guy. Reminded us of how clients should be taken care of - no matter how small the transaction. (So much that is missing from professional interaction these days) If this is how important he makes a couple feel with just a simple notary transaction, I can only imagine what a great experience his other clients get! Judging by the other positive reviews here, it's clear this is part of the company culture that Lee has helped to shape over the last few decades for this community. Thanks Lee! Darrick

From our very first meet, it was clear that Ruben is as personable as he is professional. He guided us through every step of the process, explaining complex terms in a way that made us feel confident and informed. We spent several weeks searching in Vallejo, and Ruben's patience was unmatched. We met up on four separate occasions, touring multiple homes each time, and he never once made us feel rushed. What stood out most was his attention to detail; he didn't just show us the layout, he pointed out critical things to look for, such as wood damage, roof conditions, and fencing issues. You can truly tell that Ruben wants what is best for his clients. He was also a masterful negotiator. He shared his insightful knowledge as he navigated the back-and-forth with the owners to ensure we felt both protected and prioritized. If you want a smooth, honest home-buying experience, work with Ruben. I will say it once more: If you are looking for a seamless and honest journey, work with Ruben Santiago. Thank you so much, Ruben. You truly made this experience so smooth and less stressful for us. We appreciate you!

Flagstar dumped my loan off to "RoundPoint Mortgage servicing". The "welcome" paper work came with the declaration "we are trying to collect a debt owed to Fannie Mae". As if I was in collections rather than a spotless payment history. It's a nightmare. Flagstar did the absolute minimum in notification, and if they cared at all they would have made sure to sell to a reputable company, instead of one with terrible ratings for customer service and Better Business complaints quite serious in nature. In my opinion, Flagstar is unethical, failing to make sure a customer has a safe place to do business once they have gotten all the money they needed from me. It's disgusting that I now have to worry about keeping my credit great, my home paid for and my finances safe from predatory financial problems.
