Then said that they couldn't help due to them not being the realtor selling the property. I asked if someone else could show us since the realtor listed doesn't answer us back. She said she was unwilling to show us the property and we would have to wait. We are limbo and need a home asap. The unwillingness to be helpful or friendly is quite rude, they obviously don't care about customer service or selling houses. I would have rated them a zero if I could. DONT RECOMMEND AT ALL!

She was there for us in learning about the market, giving us information, meeting with us to show us homes, arranging for funding and working through the difficult process of negotiation. We couldn't have been treated better if we were family. Anita is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced in the real estate market in the East Bay where we were looking. As we looked she did further research on the specific homes and neighborhoods we were looking at and shared that information with us. She is warm and down to earth and incredibly professional. With Anita we bought a wonderful home in Oakland at what we believe is a fair and good price. I wholeheartedly recommend Anita to anyone who is looking for a home in the East Bay or anywhere else for that matter.

I interviewed two other realtors and they were less than enthused with my home and wanted to list it for $50k less than our final sale price. Even though my home was far from the ideal listing, Leah was unfazed and saw the potential. She expertly managed and carefully chose improvements; Leah knows which improvements to make to get the best price at sale. She helped me to clean out, clean up and make the house all it could be - saving me quite a bit of money in the process. Leah even made dump runs for me and paid for some fixes out of her own pocket. I was also impressed at how well Leah utilized all of the tools available to her through Century 21 - I felt like there was a team behind me, supporting me and helping make my dream a reality. Communication was spot on; I always knew what was happening, the process was completely transparent. From the beginning, Leah committed to me, to my son, and to our goal of relocating out of state. In fact, I did move out of state during the sale process but with Leah by my side, everything continued on without stalling. Leah is a true full-service Realtor. Her attitude is always, "we'll get it done" and she does!

I'll be the first to admit that I wasn't the easiest of clients - a very nervous first time homebuyer who had a bad experience with a previous realtor - that's a lot of baggage to bring to the table but Maxine was FANTASTIC. She's got a critical eye when walking through homes and a great ability to help you think through if it's YOUR house or not. This isn't just a job for Maxine, it's really important to her to find the right house to be a home. She has a crackerjack team and a wonderful partner, Helen Yong. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Maxine. My home buying process was smooth and stress free - because of Maxine. And just an added benefit - she's super nice! I would (and will) recommend her over and over.

The entire transaction went smoothly and was as stress-free as selling your home could possibly be :) Purchasing our new home was also a very smooth transaction thanks to Maxine. We put an offer on our home after it being on the market for only a day. With Maxine's expert advise, we made a strong offer and it was accepted! She negotiated excellent terms when the house didn't appraise, and answered all of our questions thoroughly. Maxine worked hard throughout the entire process and we will be forever grateful!! Rachel Birnbaum was the Owner/Broker. She had a number of very good reviews so we called her and spoke for quite a while about what we were looking for and our budget. From the first call, she started working to find us just the right house. Quickly, she came up with a number of options. She actually videotaped homes she previewed which made things easier for us to choose which ones we wanted to visit and further evaluate. In all of our dealings with Rachel, she was always on top of things, keeping in touch on a regular basis and updating any new listings. We eventually expanded our search to include other cities in the East Bay Area. Prior to making our first trip up North, she would give us the pros and cons of each house, and the back story of the cities. She is both an excellent Real Estate Professional, and easy person to work with. We found a house in Brentwood, CA, made an offer which was accepted after some back/forth negotiation. She handled the escrow process flawlessly and the sale went through without a hitch. Rachel gets an A+ from us for the help she provided, including her knowledge of real estate and her mild easy manner. A win-win transaction, so happy we had Rachel on our side. Another quick addition, Rachel is married to a General Contractor, Ron Bruno. Ron actually did the renovation work that was necessary with the Brentwood house. His work and the subs he hired were also excellent. The work was completed on time and within budget. They are truly a great pair to work with from start to finish.
