Nicole had to deal with some some very tricky social situations (my father) and lots of hurdles in repairs, etc. to sell our property and she handled it with grace and excellence. We got the highest price we could have gotten (otherwise appraisers wouldn't agree and the buyers would have a hard time with loans) and it sold immediately (as soon as it hit the market). A situation outside of her control came up during escrow and she handled that beautifully too. I received stellar service. I was with another agent who I was asking to find properties. Days went by and nothing... they just weren't hungry enough, I don't know. Then I get a call from a realtor from Level Up Realty, Ian. His second time calling after I made an inquiry about a property I think it was. He was eager to send and show me properties. We started talking and well, I work from home, so I have more leeway in where I can move too. The other realtor didn't want to leave the bay to show my things farther way, but they were.... Properties in the bay area were just out my range and slowly I accepted I needed to move farther away. He showed me properties in Sacramento. Then I took my time and really thought about it. I didn't like Sac, and was really feeling Fresno, especially since it seems I can get more bang out of my buck there. Found a 3 bedroom with a pool and we eagerly and aggressively jumped on it. Ian was a godsend in helping me navigate my first home purchase. The house got 18 offers. 18! and it was between me and one other, whose offer was slightly higher, but my competitor was in escrow selling his current home, and I was renting so going with him could mean a delay... we made some adjustments to make my offer stronger and won the contract. It was unbelievably stressful and unanticipated as the story goes for this first time home owner. I thought long and hard about whether to write this review, but after reading some of these reviews, I wanted to hopefully save people from what I feel was one of the most horrible experiences I've had with a business. Selling a family home is difficult, selling a family home after the quick and untimely death of my Mom from COVID was unimaginably difficult. My brother and I reached out to Nicole to help with this process. During the first meeting I was confident we had the right person, but as you will hopefully read, I was wrong. I've never sold a house in my life; however, I know in any endeavor like this, the number one thing you want from an agent is timely and consistent communication. Nicole did a poor job of providing this. My brother and I were on a group text with her, and she consistently ignored and flat out would not respond to questions we had. On multiple occasions she literally did not respond to text messages/questions for longer than 24 hours. At multiple times, I brought the lack of communication up to her as a concern, and she would apologize but never enough to make a change. In this RED HOT market, she made a decision to take offers and let realtors know they had a deadline to submit their offer. Once the deadline came, she would share the offers with my brother and I. I was a little perplexed by this method but went along. However, I started to feel that sitting down via Zoom during a time slot she arranged might be a bit overwhelming, and I asked her to share a glimpse of the offers she's received so far. She honestly seemed put off that I asked but obliged. When the time came to review the offers, we were presented with about 35 offers, and we were indeed overwhelmed. She ended up guiding us towards an offer that she felt was right (FHA loan) because she knew some of the people involved on the other side, and more importantly, the offer was a no contingency offer, taking the house as is. We signed the offer and we were off to escrow, with a date of when it was supposed to close. During this time period we basically never heard from Nicole, it was like it was the quiet time. So the day that escrow was supposed to close (June 18) I still never heard from Nicole. I actually didn't even want to call her because of the bad communication. So I called the escrow agent, and she proceeded to tell me it WAS NOT closing as she never received funding information. My brother and I were shocked. We reached out to Nicole on Saturday, June 19 asking her what was going on, and she told us she COULD NOT talk, and that there was a "hiccup". She said she would call us on the 20th. She never called and instead sent a text at about 6:00 P.M. on the 20th telling us she would call on the 21st. On June 21st she called my brother and basically said the buyer wanted to change the already agreed upon offer. Needless to say, my brother and I were highly upset. Nicole then basically advised us to lower our asking price in fear that this buyer would balk, and then finding out from Nicole, after the fact, that FHA buyers CAN back out and not lose their deposit was horrible icing on a stale cake. She NEVER told us this at anytime during the review of the offer!!!! My brother and I decided to not lower our price to the buyer's new request, but we did lower the price below the ALREADY agreed upon price. Basically, we were at the take it or leave it point, and at the point if the deal fell through we'd most definitely be looking at our options to fire Nicole. The new price was finally accepted and the house sold. My brother and I had a horrible experience dealing with Nicole during a time we lost our Mom from COVID. We feel she did not work in our best interest and failed miserably with her number one task, communication. If anybody wants additional information, I would be happy to share. read more

We told Nicole that our home was off market and to please leave us alone but a few months later she began sending emails. I asked her to stop sending emails but she sent two more. I warned her that her next unwelcome email would result in negative publicity, again reminding her that the house is off the market. Two more follow-up emails came, hours later. Not impressed. This reeks of desperation. To answer Nicole's reply: I do not see a means to unsubscribe, not that I ever subscribed in the first place. We texted as you said, and you acknowledged my request to leave us alone. Here is the actual last-straw reply I sent in response to unwanted email #6, after asking to receive no more contact three times. "Nicole, Okay, you have now earned yourself some publicity. I have asked twice that you stop. I then warned you that next one will result in being Yelped. Yet you persist with email #6. Let me make this clear as I possibly can: F*** off. Now. Next email from you merits a complaint to BBB and DRE. " read more

He asked her to stop, and she did. For a while. For some reason, she decided to start up again. Her letter to my husband was impolite and accusatory. The "threat" Nicole mentioned in her comment was my husband telling her that one more email would result in a Yelp review. She sent THREE more after that, and one more today. We are *not* the first Yelpers to describe Nicole Solari as dishonest. Had Nicole Solari stopped bothering us when we asked the first --or second or third or fourth-- time, this public demonstration of our dissatisfaction would not be necessary. LevelUp Realty is part of Glide, a franchise of other similar independent realtors. From my experience Glide realtors and LevelUp realty has an assembly line system to sell houses as quickly as possible to get as many sales as possible without regard for the best interest of the seller. That was the case in the sale of my house. From the beginning there were several red flags. LevelUp sent out an unlicensed and uninsured yard maintenance handyman to trim trees in the yard which I did not hire. LevelUp sold their services by explaining how they have been getting astronomical prices on houses but then they wanted to list the house at a ridiculously low price. They said a higher price would limit the number of buyers who would look at the property. They based their proposed listing price on out of date and not comparable Comps in a red-hot real-estate market with low interest rates. At my request they listed the house at a higher price but still way below comparable sales throughout the surrounding area. They claimed they use more listings agencies than other realtors so more perspective buyers would see the listing which I do not think was true. That contradicts why they pushed the sale through to the first batch of offers. They had an explanation for everything that expedited pushing the sale through without getting the best price. They sold me on their logic for selling to the first "most qualified buyer" and advised me to not accept two offers that were $40,000 higher. Supposedly because if the the house did not appraise at that value the buyer would back out of the sale and they would lose precious time and would have to start over with a new offer and other buyers would be deterred. They said the house would not appraise for a high price but in fact it did. The appraisal was done by the buyer's appraiser and it appraised for the exact price of the buyers offer. In the beginning they provided a "Guide to interviewing a Real Estate agent" with questions to ask other prospective realtors which had several irrelevant and trick questions but did not take the long-standing reputation and experience of the other realtors into consideration. LevelUp did not understand the sales contract they presented to me because when I asked about language in the sale contract that gave the impression the buyer could buy the house at the appraised value. The LevelUp agent had to use a legal serve provider to get an explanation. The buyers agent most certainly added that language to the contract to assure the sale for their buyer. The Level up agent was a great at promoting LevelUp Realty and the tactics they use but not at getting the best price and representing my best interests. I indicated I was considering postponing selling the house for a year but the agent gave me a contract to sign that locked me into the sale. LevelUp and the buyers agent split the 5% commission that reputable realtors that I turned down would have charged. I recommend putting the sale of your house in the hands of a long standing reputable realtor and do not recommend LevelUp Realty. read more

Pros: Nicole always conducted herself in a professional manner, she was knowledgeable about the local market, and stayed calm under pressure. Cons: Due to her high volume of clients we sometimes felt lost in the mix. Our open houses were pretty big flops, but in all honesty I cannot say whether it was the marketing strategy or the unlucky weather (pouring rain every weekend). We had a tricky situation that required us to buy and sell at the same time and close both escrows on the same business day. Nicole was confident she could pull it off and helped me stay positive when it felt hopeless. In the end she made it happen and we are currently living in our dream home.
