We held my daughter's wedding reception here in 2018. We had use of the house and all the grounds. It was beautiful! Rental is ridiculously inexpensive and the staff was so helpful. I'd recommend this place for ANY event. read more

While staying in the are for work, I came here for a morning walk, as I saw there were trails to walk on and help me get my steps in. I used the Red Blazed trail and it was fairly decent, nicely cleaned (except spider webs, which I find very annoying) and it was just barely over a mile. The end of it was a very steeeeeep uphill that'll get the heart racing and the sweat running! This park features full restrooms, parking and is pretty well blazed and easy to navigate. Definitely worth a visit! read more

Words fail to express how very beautiful this sprawling sanctuary is. As a nature enthusiast, I often visit public parks and trails and have in various different states. This is absolutely the nicest public park I've ever had the pleasure of leisurely perusing. Enormous butterflies transfix in fluttering festoons, wildflower fields are a selfie queen's dream, and the spanning (and greatly varied!) trails are an outdoor fitness nut's playground. This was a former estate donated to the town, boasting a beautiful estate home, original carriage house, gazebo, and a stunning backyard garden complete with all the peaceful seating a thoughtful ponderer might desire. The variety of plant species and full color spectrum of blossoms delight the senses. I've brought my children here many times and they are (almost) as taken with the place as I am. read more

A nice 200 acre park that features hiking trails, streams and wildlife. I've been to several weddings here, as it is highly prized as a wedding venue. Part of the attraction is a nice backup location in the mansion in the event of bad weather. There are about 2 miles of trails of varying difficulty. The trail map could be a lot easier to find, not sure why it is not featured more prominently on their website. Mary Nimick, an avid nature lover, donated her family's estate house along with 53 acres when she died in 1971. The house hosts the offices of the Hollow Oak Land Trust, an organization that manages the nearby nature preserve. In summary, a small but well maintained park and wedding venue with beautiful trails. read more

Robin Hill is lovely place to hike, miles and miles of trail, a creek to frolic in if you're of the four-legged variety, an herb garden, and an open stage that hosts bands in the summer and fall. The trails are buried deep among the trees and seem very removed from civilization. Bring a pup and or a hiking pal, and enjoy the solitude that is just steps from busy Thorn Run Road. read more

I'll start off with the bad news. I was at the park earlier today taking family pictures with my parents and brothers. We were walking down trails and we saw animal poop along the trails and you can barely see some of the piles because there are leaves in the way. The good part is that it is a beautiful place to take pictures. There is a log cabin there that is a great prop for pictures. I will say we will not be going there again next fall. read more

Biggest complaint is there are no bathrooms open during a nice day in March. They only had port o potties which are not ideal for children. I understand that they can't heat them all during the winter but you think one or them would be available under the office or the main park area especially with sports season starting.

I have to admit we got a bit more nature than we bargained for that day! Lol. My few qualms are these, it tends to be a very crowded place and the trail maps are not the clearest/ most accurate. A big improvement would be better trail maps (particularly with a "you are here" marker) and better signage throughout the trails. Overall though, it's a wonderful place for the community.

The trail was nice, and I walked for a little ways, but didn't have enough time to follow it all the way (Also, it is deer hunting season, and although there is a mailbox that says orange vests are available to wear, it was empty). I would like to come back again some time, and see the whole trail. It has an upper level with a bar and cornhole setup. The lower level has a stage, another bar, and lots of tables. You are right on the river so you can dock your boat or relax by the water. Practically every hill had me floating or slamming back down, and after a while, it stopped feeling fun and started to feel a little uncomfortable. I know some coaster fans live for that kind of extreme airtime, and if that's your thing, you'll probably love this ride. It's smooth, fast, and has a legendary drop, but for me, the constant weightlessness was too much. That said, I'd still recommend it to anyone who enjoys high-adrenaline rides and can handle intense airtime. It's clearly a favorite for a reason--it just didn't suit my personal taste and I'd prefer the woodies over this.

First off Cranberry Township Waterpark, offers more than just a pool. It has a very large kids area with large kiddie pool, water dump bucket, splash pad & preschool water sliding board. It has a dedicated lap swim lane at all times. It has a waterside, low diving board, water tunnel sliding board, water climbing wall, sand volleyball court, grassy play areas, concession stand with large variety of foods, drinks & desserts & bathrooms with showers & changing rooms. There are giant umbrellas for shade, and many lounge & some Adirondack chairs. You can get water wings, or life vests for your kids there if needed. This is not a county pool like North Park Pool. NPP is run by the county. Cranberry is run by the township (not Butler County) & managed & staffed by high school kids. YES, the prices ARE higher than Allegheny County & City pools: 2025 Daily Admission Rates Residents: $11 Non-Resident: $16 Children: 2 - 12 years old Resident:$10 Non-Resident: $14 Children under 2: FREE 55+ Senior Resident: $10 Non-Resident: $14 Twilight Rates (after 6 p.m.) Resident: $8 Non-Resident: $10 Tuesday Night Swims: 9-11 p.m. Members: FREE Non-Members: $8 But that gives ZERO reason to diss this beautiful waterpark & all it has to offer. I stopped by after a walk in Carnegie Park, literally next door, for a snack. Their speciality is homemade ice cream cookie sandwiches.
