Lots of playgrounds! We were driving through town and it was a nice day so we were looking for a place to have a picnic and let the kids get some energy out. They have several playground sections that the kids were able to choose from. They checked out 4 of them and played for about 15 minutes on each. Biggest complaint is there are no bathrooms open during a nice day in March. They only had port o potties which are not ideal for children. I understand that they can't heat them all during the winter but you think one or them would be available under the office or the main park area especially with sports season starting. read more

Wonderful park for children. There are a multitude of playgrounds, a splash park, lots of sports facilities and fields, and many hiking trails. In a strange but interesting turn of events, my children and I witnessed a squirrel in labor on one of the trails. A most unusual and unexpected sight I can promise you! I have to admit we got a bit more nature than we bargained for that day! Lol. My few qualms are these, it tends to be a very crowded place and the trail maps are not the clearest/ most accurate. A big improvement would be better trail maps (particularly with a "you are here" marker) and better signage throughout the trails. Overall though, it's a wonderful place for the community. read more

Well in a way I'm just a bit personally opinionated when it comes to the park as I grew up in Moon Township since 77 . Didn't go there until I was ten and well . . It's just REALLY been enhanced since . Always local events happening over there . Great to take your family out to !!! read more

Moon Park is a great little place. I particularly enjoy the short trails for days that I want to immerse myself in nature without having to drive too far. The trails are well labeled and do not get overly crowded, so you can have a peaceful walk. read more

One of the biggest park in Moon Township, this one in particular has it all. Baseball, tennis, fishing, basketball, nature trails, gazebos, grills, and multiple play areas for children. The township does a great job at keeping it clean and it feels safe in general. The only qualm I have is that on busier times like Memorial or Labor days, the place gets packed up more densely than some of the other parks. So if you have pets (dogs) that you like to take with you to parks you'll have to keep that leash shorter than usual since there's always kids running around and traffic flowing (slowly) through the main thoroughfare. read more

Moon Park offers a park for the children to play, small hiking trails, baseball and soccer fields, and an amphitheatre. This park has it all and offers many family fun days throughout the summer, such as movies, music, and fireworks on the Fourth of July to name a few. The park offers shelters to rent for various family gatherings and is an all around nice place to picnic and play. read more

Nice place, always clean. We play soccer with friends everyday and field are clean, and grass is cut properly everytime
