Came here on a Saturday late morning/early afternoon to get a quick hike in before a wedding. The park was mostly empty with a few people walking the mile loop around the park. It was a wet day, but luckily it wasn't raining. We came to do Brady's Run Trail. Once we found the entrance, it was pretty straightforward. The trail splits in a few places so make sure to remember your route. It was the perfect time of year with the leaves changing and it wasn't too hot or cold. There were a decent amount of leaves on the ground, so be careful cause it was slippery. Also make sure you're wearing hiking boots; I slipped coming back down the big hill at the beginning of the trail. Overall really enjoyed the trail and it was a nice break from urban life (we're from Chicago and we're just visiting). We got almost 4 miles in and will definitely come back if we're ever in the area again! read more

Very nice park. The one mile long paved walking loop is perfect for running with a stroller. They have various trails for trail running in the woods. A lake for fishing and even a beach for swimming ( which I would NOT recommend swimming in as it's been closed on more than one occasion due to high E. coli). Playground equipment. Streams to fish in. Pavilions to rent. Sports fields. An ice skating rink. All around a good park to have around! read more

Brady's Run County Park is Beaver County's largest park at about 2,000 acres. It has an ice arena, tennis courts, walking track and trails, horse arena, lodge, pavilions, dog park, playground, lake with fish, swimming beach, softball and baseball fields, basketball courts, roller hockey rink, skate park, arboretum, restrooms, etc. Today I attended my friend's son's first birthday party in a rented pavilion. The pavilion had many picnic tables and a grill, and it kept us dry during the heavy rain. Because of the weather, I did not get to walk around much of the park today, but I did enjoy more of the grounds and scenery during my previous visit. This park is not as great as North Park in Allegheny County, but it is still a nice park for a day of fun. A bridge for Interstate 376 runs over part of the park, so the traffic can be a little noisy. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by Brady's Run Park. I entered the park through the main entrance off 51 with a primary focus on hiking. I parked just inside the entrance where I saw a park map to help orient myself. At this point I had immediate access to the walking loop (1 mile loop) or the Brady's Run Trail North (over 3 miles). I was looking for more of a challenge so I went for the trail. While on the Brady's Run Trail North I noticed several ramps made for mountain biking. Seems some of these woods are popular for that. There are a few trails that run through the park that intersect as well as numerous secondary trails (some documented on the park map, some not). Due to my terrible sense of direction, I got stuck in a loop of trails around the softball/baseball complex but after making my own path, I was able to get back on a trail and ended up near the lake. From there I walked the multi-purpose trail back to the entrance where I parked. Brady's Run Park offers an ice arena, tennis courts and a horse arena as well. I drove by the dog park and playgrounds. There are shelters shattered throughout the park available for rental. I noticed that there were also enough bathrooms around the park. The lake looked like a good fishing spot. I only have two things I wish they would improve. It would be nice if the official trails were more blazed (the trail I started on seemed to be blazed but only for about 1/4 of a mile or so and then I was on my own). I would also like to see more park maps. I only saw the one near the main entrance but it would have been helpful to have them in other spots, like maybe in one of the parking lots by the lake or near the lodge or dog park. It should also be noted that this park only opens at 8am. I was hoping to get there earlier but was off to a late start which ended up working out well. However when I arrived a few minutes before 8am there were already people on the walking loop. Another good thing was the water murdochs that I located near the shelters. There is something for all interests and activity levels available at Brady's Run Park. Great place for outdoor and family fun. Or just a solitary hike through the woods. read more

Great park with something for everyone! There is an ice arena, walking trail, shooting range, beach, lake for fishing, place to ride horses, playground, and dog park! The park is really big so you never really have to worry about it being too crowded with the exception of the playground and dog park occasionally. It's a beautiful area and usually very clean and well kept. read more

Kay brought me here yesterday to burn off lunch. What an immaculate secret this park is. Bradys Run Park boats a slew of amentites not limited to a dog park, an ice rink, basketball courts, tennis courts (both indoor and outdoor), a skate park, a bath house, and a playground to just scratch the surface, but I simply thought it to be a really charming, tranquil park in which to walk about (we did the mile loop), hold hands, and experience nature. No ipods, Blackberries, or cell phones were to be found here. Birds, tadpoles, and crawdads were in abundance. A brook spoke beautiful gibberish, singing happily about nothing in particular as we exercised. My favorite thing about Brady's Run are the rusty old pumps that spit out well water. Listen for the flushing toilet sound... Bear with me. I'm a city kid. I think stuff like that is neat. The people of Beaver Falls are lucky to have a park like this in their area. Come, sit on a stone bench, and meditate. read more

This review is for the Ice Rink specifically at Bradys Run Park. Disclaimer: this review is from the perspective of a parent of a youth amateur hockey player. This is a nice ice rink built in 1977. I mention the age because the architecture of the building is reminiscent of 1970's public buildings, and the urinals in the men's restrooms use a gallon of water per flush. I've forgotten how nice it is to use a urinal that actually flushes away what you put into it. The rink has a lot going for it. It has a large parking lot and a nice lobby area. The lobby has large windows, benches and tables, an HD tv to watch whatever professional sports games are on, and vending machines. There is also a nice snack bar inside the rink that sells hot snack bar fare and fresh coffee. The rink is very well lit, with very nice wood bleachers. Kids can run amok on the bleachers and not be a distraction, very nice. The ceiling (including beams) is white and the walls are white, all of which helps with the brightness of the rink. One downside is no pro shop for equipment malfunctions. Its close enough to I-376 to say it is conveniently located to it. read more

overall decent park.. drove out there specifically to swim and the beach was closed! It wasn't posted anywhere online prior to my trip there so that was upsetting. The area was well kept and clean. I did sit by the lake and watched the fishers for a little while but wont be back. read more

Used to have good fishing after COVID came around not sure what happened. You're lucky if you get three bites in a day. This lake is now over fished since March 2020. Haven't seen a game warden down here. Fishing here used to be fun, but unless you want to sit in the sun and stare at picnic table someone put in the lake down by the dam, you'll be entertained. If your looking to actually catch fish, well find another lake that didn't get over fished. read more

What a fantastic place to spend some time! In the winter months, the ice rink holds public sessions that provide excellent cardio and fun all around. There is an indoor tennis court with a running track around it. Sometimes there are folks who let their kids harass the runners by running the wrong way - or stopping in front of them and holding hands across lanes... but for the most part you can get some interrupted miles in. The outdoor track is quite nice. It's somewhat scenic and stretches a mile. The lake provides ample fishing areas. The swimming beach is tiny (and there is no lap lane like at Raccoon State Park), but it's OK for a quick splash. The mountain biking is excellent (and there is a fun multi-hour mountain biking race here that is a blast for all). As for road biking, some people really love it. It's a bit bumpy, and the traffic doesn't always obey speed limits, so it's not a clear choice for that... but for many brave souls, it works just fine. Overall, scenic, tranquil, and quite nice. read more

Being new the area with less than a year experience my family loved the park. We moved to the area right in the middle of summer so we spent most of our evenings and every weekend at the park specifically the children playground areas so my daughter could burn energy but also we could hopefully make some new friends. Surprisingly the playgrounds we never that busy; maybe one or two other families would be there. I guess it's the age of electronics for kids and not too many parents push being outside. Needless to say we still had a lot fun playing on the playground but also in the creek nearby. We also visited the dog park several times but only stayed a couple because a few times there were people not obeying the rules...small dogs in small park and large dogs in large park. Just because your large dog doesn't get along with other dogs doesn't mean you occupy the small dog park and if you do; be courteous and leave when a small dog arrives. The outdoor one mile loop is nice. I take my daughter and little dog down several times to just get out in the fresh air and exercise. This winter for the most part I was pleasantly surprised to see how they tried to keep the path clean of snow until it obviously got to be too much with the few "blizzards" we had...lol. Overall it's a great park that helped my family off on the right foot in our new surroundings and we can't wait for the spring/summer weather to arrive to be back out there. read more

Drove through the park on my way to their indoor Ice-Track-Tennis facility. The park looks to be a nature-centric family-friendly quiet one, and that's probably one of the best combinations one could ask for in a county park. The Ice-Tennis complex is on the Constitution Blvd side of Brady's Run Road and it is pretty well "signed" so you wont miss it on drive-by. Pricing is very reasonable for either ice or tennis and for the most part it looks like a large enough facility to not be falling on top of people if you're a beginner skater. Tennis wise there's 4 indoor courts and several outdoor courts. While the courts and building are in excellent condition, I do warn that the surface is a heck of a lot more grippy than your average indoor court. Low bounces and Slowed balls make for longer rallies, coupled with sub-par lighting ... well ... I hate to complain but this is definitely one of those courts that if you play in a lot and then you play against a first timer to the courts, its a definitely home court advantage. Gotta keep that in mind. I'll have to add a re-review once our USTA team hits the outdoor courts!! :) read more

Darren and I took a walk here yesterday. I come here often myself as it is practically in my backyard. I too use the indoor track when weather conditions aren't favorable to walking outside. Brady's Run Park is huge. There's a a number of walking trails, a dog park, a lake, a rifle range, an indoor tennis court, a skate park, a playground, pavilions, craft shows, a maple syrup festival, and more. I like the one mile outdoor loop best. It's really calming and pretty in the fall. read more

I used to try fishing there but didn't have much luck. My friend, Dave, catches his limit each time. Thus... well maintained, speeds and roads enforced well. Lots of places for people to picnic. Dog park, ice rink, courts of various kinds... large lake. Well maintained restrooms. Was there today and it was filled with high school graduation parties, music festival, boaters, and such. A nice amenity to the Beaver County area. The sportman's club is 3 minutes away as well. read more

A beautiful park that I had the pleasure of visiting for a tennis match a week ago. Equipped with a slew of attractions, ponds, creeks, beautiful landscapes, a skating rink, and a nice set of tennis courts, I enjoyed making my way through the park. The one complaint that I might have is that it was hard to navigate where the sites (i.e., tennis courts) were in the park. I couldn't find the visitor's center, and there were many stops along the winding road that I had to stop at to find where I needed to be. Although picturesque, one has to walk through a trail nestled within trees to get to the courts. A map or an intuitive visitor's center (or a more easily accessible one) would have been a bit more helpful. Otherwise, this was a beautiful park. read more

This dog park is very nice. There is a separate area for big and little dogs. Mine only THINKS she is big so it was nice to keep her on the small side. Bring water in the colder months as they tend to shut off the water. Oh and bring a towel. There can be muddy spots. Have fun and enjoy!! read more

Bradys Run is a Breath of fresh air. Ducks and Geese walk with ease along side your cars,horses trot past at times, and the fishing is like meditation. I get to drive through this park twice a day now since I live pretty much in it, and I wouldnt change a thing. I love the fog in the morning over the water and the peace you feel when you drive through in a convertable or bike. Everyone you see gives you a happy nod. they have two Very nice tracks, the outside track is my fav! they have tennis, skate boarding, horse ring, nature trails,ice rink, indoor and outdoor gun range, workout classes,a few great kids parks,and a stream that runs through the whole park. Then right outside the park is the fruit market! plus a few family owned places to sit and have lunch or dinner. The park allows boating as well. Im proud to be a part of Bradys Run Park. read more

(wear tennis shoes not water socks cuz the rocks hurt ur feet)---------------------------------------------------------------beach at bradys run is kinda duck poopy so dont swim with open cuts or sores or freshly shaven legs. the water is too murky for snorkeling, but saw some huge fish ?? dont know what kind. ----- birdwatching, saw huge blue heron, egrets, hawks, red cardinels, etc.... -------------bigfoot/sasquatch sightings. i have found footprints which is reported to pa bigfoot. also something huge and loud jumped out of tree next to me and found weird stick bigfoot structure?...............................sledding in winter or cross country skiing.
