First, it looks like you are going into your own home (or maybe your grandmothers home) because it is a beautiful house located on Walton Avenue in downtown Lexington. From the moment I walked in, I felt comfortable and "at home", which also meant feeling at ease. I have a very low tolerance for pain and I have always been uncomfortable around dentists, but not this one. They even offered nitrous oxide to put me more at ease when they were working in my mouth. If you are looking for a dentist, please look no further-you have found the best and at very affordable prices. Oh and remember, good dentistry is not expensive... lack of good dentistry is!

I have found Dr Hishmeh to be the most caring and honest doctor/dentist I have ever known and I'm 72 yrs old!! I use to ignore dentists although I was raised to know healthy teeth are very important. But it's always been about the pain. Dr. Hishmeh is the best on all accounts. He made me trust!! If he doesn't get it right the first time he will do it over until it's right. I've seen and heard Dr. Hishmeh give back to his community and it's people, always humble and caring. His staff is wonderfully kind and caring, as well!! They will work with you as much as they can. Turns out they left holes in my fillings and they were completely uneven. I was supposed to get a crown done here and they said I could pay in payments over time. The day I'm supposed to get the crown fitted they ask me to pay all of it upfront and say if I wanted to pay in payments I had to sign up for care credit which was never discussed with me. I now drive an hour and a half back home so I don't have to step foot in this office. Don't waste your time.

Their dedicated staff make you feel welcome every time! I highly recommend their dental practice! Take 2# Unfortunately after 35 years of relationship I had to find a new dentist due to one dentist not handling a failed tooth filling by his assistant respectfully. She dropped a tool in my mouth twice, while I was totally numb and could not feel anything except getting startled each time. After numbness was gone after few hours I noticed my upper and lower teeth were hitting each other very hard, could not eat, or speak properly. Went back after calling the front desk in a few days. Dentist came in the room agitated and without apologizing said what is it. I told him about the issue and he said well you should have told us that day before leaving the office told him you numbed my mouth and I was swelling with no feeling in my mouth. After some adjustments he fixed it. Told him his not known assistant "she never introduced herself to me,"did the failed job since he left shortly after numbing and removing old fillings on the original visit. I told him mistakes happens so best is to accept and fix the problem as I do every day in my own job. He said she is my longtime assistant and she doesn't make any mistakes. He should have apologized and fix the problem instead of defending someone that I had never met for 35 years as his assistant. The End
