If I could give him 1,000 stars I would! Robin is a one-stop shop for all event needs. He took care of EVERYTHING for our entire wedding weekend! Sound on Friday for rehearsal party and band, music and mic for ceremony, cocktail hour setup, playing music with other musicians, AND DJ and MC for the entire night! He also said provided all the equipment needed for all those events, which can run thousands to rent alone! Not only that, he was able to set up audio and video recordings of everything for us, meaning we didn't have to hire 5 separate people to do everything he does! I could write a NOVEL about all the things he does and how good he is at them. The dance floor did not stop moving the entire evening! Everyone was having the best time ever. Not only that, his positive energy and amazing good vibes added the extra personal touch. WOW! My husband and I are still in awe with everything Robin did to make our wedding so perfect! Robin was referred to us in the very beginning stages of planning our wedding. Robin is so easy to work with! My band just recorded a 7 song album with him in two days. What could have possibly been a stressful situation was put into a container of ease and enjoyment. He's very aware of giving the artist what they need and contributing his ideas without overstepping. We were left to focus on doing our jobs because he very pointedly had all of the basis covered in exactly the right way in how it was going through the board. Our vision was a somewhat unique one, having only 2 days and minimal resources, and he worked with us to extract the full potential out of what we had within our limits. We stumbled upon Robin one fateful day as we were perusing potential wedding venues on Treasure Island. He was setting up to spin at a party, and we chatted a bit. I hadn't heard any of his stuff at that point, but he had a great vibe - the kind of guy you'd love to have in the mix of all your friends and family on a very special day. I grabbed one of his cards, and didn't end up nailing down a wedding venue until about a year later. I called Robin and he walked me through the package and pointed me to his website where I got a sense for the type of music he produces as well. His energy was exactly what we were looking for and it was clear he is very musically talented. Leading up to the wedding, he was super easy to work with. He came multiple times to the venue to assess the space and walk through the rehearsal. I gave him some guardrails to work with (don't play these sorts of songs & we like these other sorts of songs) and then left it up to him to do what he does best. He had awesome audio equipment including speakers, mics etc. He even played acoustic guitar before the ceremony (which was awesome), and he recorded all the speeches and ceremony. The audio recordings were very high quality and we're so psyched we have them to play for the rest of our lives. And then there was the actual music - WOW. I knew our wedding would be fun, but it was honestly the most spectacular dance party I can remember taking part in. Many of my friends have come to me after the party and said the same thing, so I know it wasn't just my wedding-filtered lenses :) He really knows how to dictate the pace of the party and it felt so natural. He created the right energy for dinner, for cocktail hour, for dessert, and slyly creeped up into a full-on dance party that lasted many many hours. And he got out on the dance floor at the end as well, and joined us at the dive bar afterward for late night shenanigans. I consider Robin a centerpiece of what was a sublime night on all fronts.
