Donuts (of course), pies, cookies, jams, bars and other baked goods. Including dog treats! The crème de la crème of this place is the fresh Banana Cream Pies. Made as you wait! Can't get any fresher than that! Loved the donuts too! Heavy and moist and are either sugared or iced. Made fresh and ready to go with the free coffee. A friend told me about this place, and I'm so glad because I'm not sure if I would have ever found it. It's kind of in the middle of nowhere. But if you build it and make good bakery... I will come!

I've gotten their bars when I didn't have time to make mine from scratch and they are all excellent. I had a special request a few months back for something no other bakery would do and Hartman's came through for me! I needed several loaves of unsliced white bread for a special event and they had it ready for me the next day. I ordered a birthday cake for one of our girls birthdays and it was by far and away the best bakery cake I've ordered in this area in the 7 years we have lived here. They have a lovely shop right in downtown Plymouth with parking in front and back. There are tables to sit inside to enjoy your bakery with their coffee offerings. And don't forget their G-Scoops ice cream. It's a must stop after we visit the library with my granddaughter.

We found out that the best way to get your donuts is to pre-order. (They make 12 different kinds each day). Next time I guess! Because I can only judge that taste and quality on 2 donuts that were the lest favorite for that day I'm going to have to make another visit to give better feedback. I will say, the 2 we bought were only okay, but the pictures on their website that we missed looked pretty amazing. Best advice.....Get there early, or order ahead!

I would say that this shop focuses mostly on creating flavors, so the donuts themselves are not anything special. It's more about the fillings. You should also be aware that the feelings are mostly cake frosting, so if that feels too sugary for you, be warned. The donuts definitely satisfy someone with a sweet tooth, and they offer mini donuts at a reasonable price point, so you can try many different flavors in one sitting. When you cut the mini donut in half, it's just about right for a bite a piece when sharing with a friend.
