They tested the system, found it was the lineset and gave me a price for the repair. The price seemed high enough to have included replacement of the line. After the work was almost done I saw the leaking line had been repaired, not replaced. I asked why, and they said they had not priced it that way and replacing the line would have cost more. They were willing to give me a discount on re-doing the work, but not credit for the repair I had never wanted. I cannot imagine why they priced a job differently than what I had said I wanted without at least warning me the work they were pricing is not what I had said I wanted.

The morning of I, received a call saying they had another call that morning right down the street from us and wanted to know if they could come earlier. Of course! Come on down! They explained that the A/C unit required a couple of pounds of Freon but it was nothing to be alarmed at.
