It has been a while since we have eaten at Roberto's, but this past week we bought some calzones and fries here and were happy with the meal. This small shop close to downtown typically is the last place we think about, but it may become one of our go-to shops. The steak and cheese calzones here were delicious and fairly cheap while the fries were perfectly cooked and not too oily. The service was a bit lackluster, but we were never expecting a five star dining experience. In the end, we loved the food here and will make it a point to eat here more often. The final highlight was that they had soccer on the TV which was great and when I realized it was in Spanish I was in heaven because it was nice to feel back at home! read more

Roberto's pizza is THE BEST in Greenfield! New York style thin crust that is crisp with delicious, creative toppings. Unlike the disgusting soggy, floppy crusts found at most pizza places, with grease running down your arm and chin! My favorite is their Buffalo chicken pizza. Jorge and Reena are a hardworking couple who grow their own veggies and seem like "salt of the earth" kind of people. It feels great to support a small family business while also getting the best pizza for miles around. If you want a fancy place with obsequious wait staff bowing and scraping in the name of "customer service", this is not the place for you. Got a large chicken pesto pizza and I love how the flavor of the pesto really comes through. I really like how this pizza isn't too greasy, so I'm able to eat a couple of slices and not have that heavy feeling. The crust is nicely baked and has that "brick-oven" feel to it which is great with this style of pizza. The owner/ or staff member that attended us was really friendly and while this is mostly a take out place, I'd like to come back and eat inside next time. Noticed they also sell by the slice, so I'll try to test the different types out that way. I've been in here a few times, largely because it's been the sub place on the route I sometimes take for work, and is right next door to a convenience store where I snag a bag of chips and a drink. However: * The pizza's the worst in the downtown; with so many other options, nah. Been there, done that, won't do that again. * The prices are the highest of any sub place in the downtown, too high. * The subs are okay, but just okay, and they take a while about making them. * There's no posted menu. You can get a paper menu to look at, but it's old, some of the selections are out of date, and it's bearish when you don't have your reading glasses handy. * Ambiance is zero. A handful of rickety chairs at bland tables. The only benefit is that the owners are stone soccer fans (so am I), but their TV is at the far back of the kitchen and not easy to see. It's not terrible, but take the few minutes extra and go to one of the many other options. read more

The best around. We regularly drive 20 minutes just to pick up dinner. The only weird thing is that the pizza seems to be made slightly differently on the weekends - heavier, and (if possible) even more delicious. Or we could just be overthinking it. Regardless, this is our favorite. read more

Overall good food. The pizza is a mix between NY style and a Greek pizza. Fairly decent size slices but its also thick w/ a good amount of cheese but there isn't a lot of sauce. I got a small mushroom w/ cheese and it was big enough for 2-3 people. An important note is that the pizza was just as good the next day. Also had a veggie calzone which wasn't the greatest it consisted of broccoli, diced red/green peppers, onions and not that much cheese. Cost for both was $18 which I thought was a bit steep. The pizzeria is a small hole in the wall on a fairly busy St. Not a good setup to eat in.lt's better to pickup and eat elsewhere. Nice staff that obviously loves soccer.
