I was originally quoted $90 to remove a couch. A second later it was $70. I then asked about also removing a bunch of stuff from my patio. The price was more than I could afford. During that messaging exchange he realized that he changed his couch removal quote to $70 on accident because he got confused and thought it was a mattress. A day or two later I asked how much it would cost to also remove a file cabinet when they came for the couch and we negotiated $120 total (couch and file cabinet). I wasn't home when this was done (my husband was) and he apparently forgot the file cabinet was also supposed to be removed so we ended up paying $120 for couch removal instead of the agreed upon $90. When I contacted Roberto about this he insisted that $120 was only for the couch removal even when I sent screenshots. Unfortunately Yelp doesn't have their software together so if you message both through their app and their texting feature the two don't sync up. I am so stressed and exhausted from moving that I can't deal with contacting Yelp to ask them to sync up the records to send them all to me in one conversation so that it's clear to see what happened so now im out $30. The pricing also seems to be kind of arbitrary and all over the place in general. read more

I sent a detailed quote request with photos, a text description, and measurements of the largest objects. Roberto responded promptly and quoted me $50 which seemed like an amazing deal, maybe too good to be true. Well guess what, it was. I messaged them before they arrived and said I wanted to add some more stuff and we could negotiate. When they arrived they said it would be $380 even just for the stuff in the original quote. Roberto said he was busy and didn't read my quote request very carefully and thought I only had a few items. My original quote request included a large sectional sofa, mattress, futon, etc. I told him if he didn't have time to read the actual quote request he had no business sending a quote. Including the paint cans we wanted removed the entire haul cost us $400. I'm never using this company again, and the only reason I didn't give them 1 star was they showed up on time, helped us carry heavy items out of the house, and worked quickly. read more
