I struggled for a while to find someone who wanted to tackle some of the issues I was having. I still feel like I'm off in the weeds at times but at least I have Laporta. This country's system is the problem. What they've done to us financially, nutritionally, psychologically... I digress. LaPorta office is decent, a lot of aggravation with scripts being sent wrong or not at all, but at least she's there for me; it's tough to get appointments at times and I just have to call a few too many times for my liking, but maybe she's just that popular

I've been trying to get my prescriptions renewed for five days now and nobody returns my call. Their answering service will not relay any messages because my need of medication "is not a medical emergency". I tried the patient portal but that crashed too. The doctors are excellent but the office is run unapologetically appallingly, take care of yourself and find another family medical center.

I told her I have an appointment. The receptionist mentioned you don't have an appointment. I told her it was scheduled. ​My point instead of making me wait for 25 minutes the receptionist should check my name on the computer. It would take 3 mins. Don't WASTE your time going to this place. The receptionist is horrible. They're are there for a paycheck. No care, no compassion.

I have now recommended my husband to also be seen here. P/A Jackie is amazing and Dr. Elfieky as well. They are extremely knowledgeable beyond any Neuro office that I've been to and I have been to many since the age of 12. I honestly have to say I have never seen such dedicated woman such as and especially LIZ and BRITTANY. I have to say out of all my doctors offices which is a lot now a days these two woman are so accommodating and professional. I highly recommend them! I really am hoping that Dr. Elfieky will see this because I feel it's so important to know when you have a wonderful employee that truly shines in the eyes of your clients! Liz knows every single patients name and never misses saying hello to a single person. She keeps you informed always and never stops working. As a patient I understand that for great care I have to have patience sometimes because there can be a wait for your appointment time but it's worth the wait when you receive proper treatment and care and are surrounded by caring staff. I would tell anyone who needs to speak with someone at this office who is genuine and willing to help you , to just ask for Liz. That was couple years ago n I won't go anywhere else now. Yes, sometimes u have to wait a while even though u had an appt, but this is because she gives all her patients enough face time, thoroughly evaluates you and genuinely cares about anything that could be wrong w/you. She takes same day appts and THAT is hard to find too. The office a beige, older house that was converted to an office on 112, but I go there for the service. Her nurses have all been great. Always very nice! Abid, the practice Mgr, is one of the warmest people ever and truly cares about their patients like Dr. Shilpee does. Christina at the front desk who makes all the appts and is prob the office Mgr always really does go above and beyond to get you in ASAP n very flexible w appts too. She cares just as much as everyone else there and WILL get you in. That's the most important thing. Dr. Shilpee is sweet and very knowledgeable. I've since referred my mom there who agrees w/everything said here n made her her GP as well. She just loves her very thorough care and won't go anywhere else for past couple yrs too. This yr I also got my boyfriend a 1st time appt so he can get his Covid test needed for travel n once again she scheduled him immediately. Now he goes for physicals and Covid tests regularly. Def appreciate it and really appreciate Dr Shilpee!
