I dreaded many aspects of the process, not least of which was insurance. But I quickly discovered this agency via Yelp and it lived up to all the 5-star reviews, and even surpassed my expectations. Simply put, they do it all for you, making the process as easy and painless as possible. After collecting my information, they found the best rate for my needs, set everything up with the insurance company, sent me the paperwork for a signature, handled the payment via credit card, and emailed me my policy. Couldn't be simpler. When my policy was up for renewal this year, they contacted me and handled everything, even finding a cheaper rate with another company. I never had to visit the office, it was all handled via phone and email. Plus, I did plenty of research on my own and could not even come close to the rates they found. The representative I've personally worked with is Kristen Soo Hoo and she is the epitome of professionalism and kindness. This place is simply top notch and I highly, HIGHLY, recommend utilizing their excellent service.

For a $15 charge, they'll do all the change over paperwork, and save you a trip to the RMV, but the payment must be by check. I opted to go to the RMV because I didn't have my checkbook with me, but before leaving I asked the EI rep if the RMV would take a credit card for this, or if I should stop at home and pick up my check book. He assured my the RMV would take my credit card for the changeover fees and sales, but that was incorrect. (Luckily the RMV was kind and gave me a pass to come back without having to wait again when I returned with my checkbook.) Despite the mistaken information about RMV payments, I'd still recommend Eastern Insurance because their staff has been very helpful over the years I've insured my car with them.
