I chose Dr. Freeze because they only do CoolSculpting, and I wanted to go to a specialist with a great reputation. I heard great things about this center from different sources so I was pretty confident about their capabilities even before going in for a consultation. The Dr. Freeze center is newly remolded, so it's pretty much just brand new everything. It has a beautiful, light, and airy feeling in there. Their state-of-the-art CoolSculpting rooms are very nice to sit in.
I got a couple of areas treated, and I'm incredibly satisfied. I got a lower ab package ($2,400) and an outer thigh package ($2,700). While the freezing sensation was a little bit uncomfortable at first, it just feels like a little bit of tingling. This went away within a couple of minutes. After that, I didn't really feel much of anything. When they took off the device, they massaged the area. Throughout the treatment, my pain never went above a 3/10. The minimum time is about 35 minutes, and the longest is about an hour and fifteen minutes. During that time, you're can relax and watch TV. I just read, and the whole experience went by quickly.
Being a nurse, and having separate degrees in exercise physiology and nutrition, I understand how we store and lose fat. CoolSculpting freezes the fat cells, causing them to undergo apoptosis, which is just a natural cell death. You have the same amount of fat cells in your body right now as you had all your life, but they just grow. CoolSculpting helps get rid of the fat cells, which over the course of a few weeks dissolve and are secreted out of your body.
After receiving the CoolSculpting treatment, I was able to go running. There was a little bit of swelling at the site, but it wasn't painful at all. After one my treatments, I went to the gym afterwards and lifted weights. There's pretty much zero downtime. About three to four weeks after CoolSculpting, I noticed a fat reduction. After six weeks, I woke up one day, and I thought, "Oh my gosh. This is incredible!" While they say to expect a 25% reduction with one treatment, I feel like I lost at least 50% on my hips. I've treated my abdomen once, but I made an appointment for another round of CoolSculpting on my stomach after the six week mark. Around six weeks is when you see the most dramatic difference. I am also going back in to treat my right hip!
Getting CoolSculpting is worth every single penny. I hated that sensation of sitting down and feeling I had a roll over and under my pants. I don't feel that anymore. The treatment on my hips makes me feel like I'm not awkwardly-shaped anymore. I used to be very disproportioned. Now I feel like I have a really nice, feminine, and well-proportioned physique. It's such a relief to go into my closet and feel like I can wear anything that's in there. Prior to CoolSculpting, there were just days where I was like, "I just feel so uncomfortable today in my own skin, and I don't want to wear that because that shows my stomach, or that's too tight on my hips." Now it's like I can just wear whatever I want and feel great.
CoolSculpting is not supposed to result in much weight loss, but I noticed a lower number on the scale after getting treated. I've lost five pounds, getting me below a number that I've not been able to with just dieting and exercise. This is without me trying any harder than I normally do. A couple of my coworkers have really noticed this difference. My fiancé absolutely notices. There's a drastic decrease in like the size of my hips, and you can pretty much see my six-pack now. I exercise five days a week, and I watch my diet, but I've never been able to have a six-pack.
Visiting Dr. Freeze has really motivated me to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I would recommend CoolSculpting to anyone who has problem areas that they want to improve. It works best for someone that really does everything they can do, but they can't get rid of those problem areas of stubborn fat. I feel like I've been given a gift, and I won't squander it. read more
