I had already had x-rays and exams and no one could explain what was wrong. Within a few visits with Dr Banik my tailbone was not hurting !!! It has been 9 months and I am still pain free! As soon as I have anything I know I won't get an answer from my primary for I make an appointment with Dr. Banik. For instance I ran over my heel with a buggy and my whole foot was hurting. By the end of my visit my foot is feeling almost 100% better. I wish this type of medicine was more widely known, as it is incredible. Dr Banik treats pregnant women, and infants as well. She specifically helps with plagiocephaly. When my baby was born they had severe acid reflux, and irregular bowel movements. Within one visit I could see a difference. Dr Banik is truly one of a kind, she really cares. She also tries to get to the root of your problem, not just what you're presenting with. I would reccomended Dr Banik to everyone I know! ****. UPDATE. *****…read more I've never forgotten this horrific medical gaslighting. When I wasn't improving my Doctor ordered more testing. I showed I have POLYMYOSITIS and significant scoliosis. Polymyositis is a a very, very painful condition. My CPK then was 1880 it's still running in the 800 range and the least it was is 780 in 10 years. This doctor made ASSUMPTIONS - and was out to bleed insurance companies. I will never forget being told I would not be prescribed pain medication but they were scheduling me for surgery with NO X-Rays, No MRI AND NO CT SCAN which is also I found out from a REAL DOCTOR, that immediately treated me for my conditions, ordered new tests and adequate pain medicine working WITH my doctor. I did find I'm am severely allergic to CT scan and came back from the light after he ordered one to get a clearer look. The other doctor was scheduling me for surgery in two days- NO TESTS

I advised her that I had 3 ultrasounds collected on my abdomen (external and internal) as I had pain from what I thought was a hernia. they found a mass in my uterus and a 3mm mass on my left kidney. I explained to her that I understand most holistic practices and know how I'd like to approach the issues. I wanted to talk those out with the dr, get her feedback or suggestions and have her monitor the progress. the upping last assured me that would not be an issue. I get to the appointment, pay and spent the next 45 minutes taking with the Dr who did nothing but assume diagnoses even when I said I didn't have certain things (I.e, sleep apnea, lymes disease). she would even write referrals after I said I knew I did not have these issues. I am a 42 year old woman, 5ft 10in, 165 pounds, very active, in the gym 6 days a week. I do not have a tongue tie, weight problem or sleep apnea. My focus is my uterus pain and my kidney. When I tried to talk to her about the issues, I was there for she let me know that she hasn't even looked at the ultrasound reports and wanted to refer me to have it done again. I told her if I was to have anything else done I would prefer an MRI so that we can get a better understanding of what was going on and she said she would would prefer that I just have an ultrasound done, external and internal. I explained again that I already had that done and it was a very in-depth report. She then left the room to go get the reports... They were not even in the file that she had in her hand. when she came back, I told her that I would like to do a parasite cleanse and also monitor my estrogen as I was estrogen dominan which could prompt the growth on my uterus. she said she would not do that and would prefer to look at all the other things that she had mentioned, and was not even concerned about the ultrasound reports that I had done as they may not be correct. She also told me I should get a pap smear...I asked why she would tell me that. She said "it is always good to have your routine check ups" nope. at this point I was intern upset and shut down. She never went into depth about anything concerning my estrogen dominance, my abdominal pain related to what they found on the ultrasound or even my kidney. She was very concerned with me having $2000 worth of referrals and blood work done for things I had already told her I did not need. There's more I could complain about but it just makes me mad. We are a single income family. I homeschool all three of my kids and don't have $500 to throw around so someone can scam me into seeing every friend dr they have for unrelated issues. I walked out of there with absolutely no advise, no attention to my concerns, and 5 referrals that I NEVER called on. However, I get spammed constantly from each one of these doctors offices that she wrote a referral to. They constantly call me, leave messages and text me trying to get me to set up appointments. I have never reached out to any of these doctors so I know she's gave them my contact info without my consent. I have never been spammed from so many doctors offices in my life! I am deeply disappointed....I thought I found someone that would help me through this unexpected health issues and I thought she would encourage and give me hope... honestly could cry every time I think about the $500 waste. this dr might be good for you if you don't know anything about holistic care or if you are new to this world but if you know then please don't waste your time, emotional energy or money.
