My son and myself go to Melissa at Vintage86 and we have been extremely happy. Her hours are flexible, she is down to earth and her service is outstanding. The cost is very reasonable and great value for the cut. Melissa listens to our requests makes suggestions and makes sure we are happy before we leave. She is funny and it's a great environment. Her scheduling system sets up future dates and you get reminders two days out before your next haircut. She is a licensed barber and does an excellent neck shave. So if you are looking for a new barber for the guys in your family I would recommend Vintage86 and Melissa.

I requested an appointment through Yelp and received a friendly text back within five minutes, letting me know they'd be open at 9 AM. When I arrived a little early, one of the barbers greeted me and let me know Ace would be in shortly. The shop has a great 'back-in-time' vibe with a solid music selection. Ace gave me one of the best fades I've ever had, and he also shaped up my beard with a straight razor. The attention to detail was fantastic. However, from what I have seen, most of them are pretty talented. If you have a simple style, you can usually get a seat pretty quickly. I have seen them work on kids, adults, and elderly. They can do it all, and most of these ladies have built a loyal clientele! That's not easy to do. I have been to almost every place in this county for men's hair. My hair is not a simple buzz cut or shave, and it does require styling. This is the only place I could find someone who knew how to work with medium length men's hair, and could be consistent. I might have overlooked that if the haircut itself had been consistent, but the fade above my ears is noticeably uneven. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place based on my experience -- there's definitely room for improvement in both service quality and attention to detail.
