After 25 years, they are MOVING!…read more We love Half Price Books! What better way to spend a date day than flipping through shelves of books that aren't overpriced! This location is great when we are headed toward Ross Park Mall.. except for the giant hill of an entryway that... denoted by the scratches in the pavement... has removed a good number of bumpers! Sooooo... we are excited that they are relocating down the road. Still... shelves upon shelves of meticulously curated categories with sub categories and alphabetized authors.... Maybe we love this because we are both such detail oriented people! My wife and I love to remember our favorite authors and hunt down where they are. We spend far too many minutes sitting on the floors of the sections thumbing through shelves and pages. And there is nothing better when you get to checkout with a stack of books... and the price is half! Thanks for the date days! Thanks for staff that never minds people squatting and enjoying!

The coffee bar surpasses expectations. The drinks are great, especially because of their unique syrups and drink combinations. I have enjoyed lattes and fruit flavored lemonades, and my favorites have been the strawberry matcha and the blue velvet latte, which featured blueberry roobios syrup. The employees have also been very nice and it is cute inside. There is space to sit and read or work near the coffee bar - you are able to take your computer and work there with a drink from the coffee bar, without even needing to buy a book. The store offered many categories of fiction and nonfiction hardcover and paperback books and some audiobooks. The prices were alright, and customers could get discounts if they purchase multiple books of certain types. Of course, small, local bookstores such as Mr. Bookman are up against the large online bookstores, but you just might find something that you like here.

Compared to the other bookstore that popped up in the outlet, this one was much less organized. This looked, to me at least, like a flea market stall. Books were haphazardly put on the shelves and as far as I could tell, not a conventional order system. Browsing here was a hard task to do and almost not a task anyone should attempt. A lot of the books looked secondhand. Which I am not made about, but it seriously limited what was on hand and how they checked their inventory. This is still a welcomed addition, but still do not know if this is a seasonal thing or a permanent storefront.

I recently shopped inside this store. I appreciated that the two employees kindly greeted me but gave me space and time to look around on my own. I did not find any books to purchase this time, but I did pick out two pop-up greeting cards. The cashier correctly processed my transaction. This store contains a large section for children's books, so if you have any children, then I encourage you to shop here. Furthermore, if you are interested in attending events such as conversations with authors or children's story-times, then be sure to visit this store's website to read about upcoming in-store events.

The place is adorably decorated and has a nice size, curated book collection with something to offer for everyone. I was greeted by the owner who was so kind and also rang me up. My books were packaged so nicely with decorative tissue paper too! I found two books here that have been on my list to grab: Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid and Crying in H-Mart by Michelle Zauner (singer in the band Japanese Breakfast!). Both books are paperback which is my preference, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that Crying in H-Mart was 30% off! There is an area for kids, a cafe area serving coffee and drinks, and a nice outdoor patio area as well. This place has it all! If you're in the area, be sure to stop by and browse!
