This location is great when we are headed toward Ross Park Mall.. except for the giant hill of an entryway that... denoted by the scratches in the pavement... has removed a good number of bumpers! Sooooo... we are excited that they are relocating down the road. Still... shelves upon shelves of meticulously curated categories with sub categories and alphabetized authors.... Maybe we love this because we are both such detail oriented people! My wife and I love to remember our favorite authors and hunt down where they are. We spend far too many minutes sitting on the floors of the sections thumbing through shelves and pages. Not only do they have an incredible book selection, but there's also a cozy coffee + tea shop attached Huge shoutout to Luis (GM!) for helping me pick the perfect latte -- I went with the banana bread latte (on the menu until the end of the month, so don't miss it!) The store offered many categories of fiction and nonfiction hardcover and paperback books and some audiobooks. The prices were alright, and customers could get discounts if they purchase multiple books of certain types. Of course, small, local bookstores such as Mr. Bookman are up against the large online bookstores, but you just might find something that you like here.

A lot of the books looked secondhand. Which I am not made about, but it seriously limited what was on hand and how they checked their inventory. This is still a welcomed addition, but still do not know if this is a seasonal thing or a permanent storefront.

The place is adorably decorated and has a nice size, curated book collection with something to offer for everyone. I was greeted by the owner who was so kind and also rang me up. My books were packaged so nicely with decorative tissue paper too! I found two books here that have been on my list to grab: Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid and Crying in H-Mart by Michelle Zauner (singer in the band Japanese Breakfast!). Both books are paperback which is my preference, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that Crying in H-Mart was 30% off! There is an area for kids, a cafe area serving coffee and drinks, and a nice outdoor patio area as well. This place has it all! If you're in the area, be sure to stop by and browse!

Outside of the store, they have book carts with $5 and under books. The store is two floors, and the upper floor has a cozy reading area. The shelves in the store are separated by genre and there are also tables with owner-recommended books. In addition to books, there are also plants for sale. The place is so nicely decorated and such a nice environment for reading. To be honest, it doesn't even feel like walking into a store, and it's more like a cozy home. As a plus, I think this place has a cat around sometimes, but I didn't see the cat during my visit.
