After hospital discharge and being up for over 24 hours I was told to come straight in for that original appointment. I was crying sitting in the waiting room and when taken back the nurse asked how my day was. I'm sure she didn't know, but they should make a note when a patient is visiting under those circumstances and get them back quicker instead of sitting amongst other patients and babies. I didn't even see the doctor, but the PA was great. The appointment was unnecessary, though. Visited a few months later for a yearly. Dr. Cropper was cold and unfriendly. I asked a few questions during my exam and she was short. I later found out because I asked about my miscarriage and health that was considered an "additional appointment" and charged. I've never paid for a yearly appointment and always been able to talk to doctor. At that appointment she also performed an exam without my consent. I was in shock because it wasn't something I'd ever experienced and I believe she could tell because she explained what the exam was for (after the fact). The exam was 100% unnecessary. I had just explained something in my health history that would confirm it wasn't needed so I have no idea why she did it. On top of all that, I asked about her being my doctor if I got pregnant again. She said no because I would be high-risk. For reference, I found another doctor and just had a perfectly healthy baby. For all of these reasons I definitely would not recommend Dr. Cropper.

Being on medi-cal and finding functional medicine doctor has been life changing. Yes he takes other insurance. He gives me his time,knowledge and I have seen tremendous results seeing him. When I first found him after my first appointment the front office went a whole year without answering my phone calls or calling me back. Told it was a phone system issue. Now i finally got through this year and been back with him, the trouble still stands of reaching the office sometimes I have to call eight times a day before they finally answer or not; they never return a voicenail and my prescriptions are never filled when leaving my appointment. I've never had an issue calling my doctor to have my prescriptions refilled anywhere else and the front staff always blames the doctor, I'm not a complainer but they make me feel like I am a bother. This medication is important to my well-being. I feel like their front staff lacks compassion it's one thing that you're not greeted when you come in it's another to be put aside like it's not a priority when it comes to our health. They started doing blood draws and I told them I dont do well and they said I just need to not be anxious and when I started sweating and feeling dizzy they just sent me on my way I had to ask to sit in lobby which was so embarrassing for people to watch me while I try to pull myself together. I just go to quest where they lay me down and have ZERO issues with the blood draw. I have my next blood test in 2 weeks (3 months apart from previous) and have been without my prescriptions for a month. I am extremely grateful for dr lamberty but wish this cycle of having meds then being fully without them would cease and my care could run smoothly without worrying about trying to reach them. Last time I had to make another appt to see him just to get the refills this time I couldn't get an appointment before my follow up date appt already set. It is just irritating but worth it because the doctor is fantastic and the other doctors I have seen had very concerning treatment suggestions.

You mentioned all these different ways patients can supposedly communicate with the office, but none of that was ever explained to me. I was simply told you would call me back once my labs came in and you got the labs, and I still never received a call back. You also specifically told me to contact the office if I started having that pain and popping sensation again, and that is exactly what was happening. That was the entire reason I was so concerned and trying so hard to get ahold of someone. I also have the imaging request form showing "possible ectopic pregnancy" written as the reason for the exam and that the ultrasound was marked "STAT," which is exactly why I was so concerned and repeatedly trying to contact the office after my appointments kept getting canceled. Also, when you go on your website, there is not even a clear option showing patients how to access a chart or directly communicate with the office. The only thing available is a basic form to leave your name and a message, which makes your response about all these communication options even more confusing. My review was never about expecting "instant service." It was about being unable to get clear communication while dealing with something that was presented to me as potentially urgent. Honestly, the tone of your response just reinforces my experience and why I felt the need to leave the review in the first place and a doctor, your job is to help patients, not make them feel like they are exaggerating concerns that YOU were the one to bring up in the first place. Here, appointments are honored, and your time is genuinely respected.  He was incredibly thorough, even drawing a diagram to help me understand. After seeing four other OB-GYNs, he was the first to clearly explain my condition and help me easier to weigh the pros and cons. He is extremely patient, listens carefully and takes the time to answer every single question without rushing. Honestly, he's a rare find. I was also surprised and impressed that the clinic accepts credit cards and provides receipts in digital format. It's a very modern and up-to-date practice. They even have a well-designed website where I can view my appointment details and ask simple medical questions online.
