He's one of those primary care doctors who chose primary care because they believe in it, not because they couldn't get into dermatology or surgery. He went to MIT for undergraduate and worked at MIT in computer science before computers were widespread, and he went back to medical school after a successful career in computer science. He's located at GBMC, and it's easy to get lab tests downstairs. Now that I've moved away, I'm having trouble finding a doctor who even comes close to measuring up.

My father's physician was in the same practice, and same thing happened to him. Thank you, Obamacare. That's what happens when a doctor takes the time to get to know a patient today, listen to all his/her concerns, address them, explain all the side effects of prescribed medications, etc. Dr. Lamson was a consummate professional who left left no symptom unaddressed, no illness undiagnosed before you left his office. Now I go to a doctor who sees me for 15 minutes, doesn't even listen to my heart or lungs even though I have had hypertension for 25 years, and double pneumonia twice, and throws me out of my office (times up!) before I can get my prescriptions refilled. To be honest I was absolutely terrified... terrified so much that it took me two weeks after visit to complete the review!!! Let me start by saying, there's plenty of parking on the parking lot! You are know how I feel about parking! As soon as I got off the elevator I proceeded to enter the office. Everyone was so welcoming & it was such a beautiful environment. There's a helpful kiosk to your immediate left when you enter that you check in on. The check-in time takes less then 20 seconds on the kiosk. As soon as I sat down, the young lady at registration called me over to confirm my insurance information as well as other options for my mammogram. Within 5 minutes or less I was escorted to the back area. I must admit the back waiting area was just as cute clean and comfy as the previous front waiting area, but way more intimate. It was like I was at a spa! They give you calm colored gowns, the furniture's cutesy, they have reading material, water, crackers, television, and a welcoming atmosphere! The technician that came out shortly after was very very helpful, she was able to provide all information & explain all possible outcomes so that I can be prepared for whatever came my way. Everything went extremely well for me and I'm very thankful that I haven't been requested to return. I highly recommend this office to any female in need of a mammogram or speciality radiology service.

I see Dr. Susan Molinaro now and did from 1997-1999, as well. She and her receptionist/assistant, Janet, are both exceptional at what they do for their patients. Janet has worked with Dr. Molinaro for so long that she knows pretty much the response and handles things, which is great when you call in as a patient and she can answer right away. When you walk into Park Medical Associates, its a little overwhelming the first time. You walk in and see many desks for each of the doctors and their receptionist/assistant. You check in and give you insurance card and any forms and then sit in a large waiting area. At the time of your appointment, your doctor, in my case Dr. Molinaro, comes out personally and brings you back to their office or exam room. Where else does the doctor directly come and get you versus some other member of the staff or a nurse or otherwise. Its a subtle things like this that make it a special practice. Dr. Molinaro herself is an outstanding physician. When I originally started seeing her, she was young and relatively new to the practice. Almost 20 years later, she's one of the older physicians in the practice, but still have the uniqueness of being warm, and giving of her time to really talk to you as a patient and not rush the time or rush you out the door without resolving your concerns. I highly recommend this practice and especially Dr. Susan Molinaro and Janet.

There is no scheduling option - called the billing department and they proivded a name of Dr. Gordon who is taking new patients and that her staff might know if other physicians are taking new patients as well. Called the # on website for Dr. Gordon and it was not correct. The person gave me the correct # to call and when I commented that the number on the website is incorrect she just said "I know". Solving this simple known issue may stop the wrong numbers she is having to answer. Then spoke with Dr. Gordon's patient coordinator who was rude, curt and I am amazed anyone that has made it this far still wants to join this practice! "We are a private practice" must me we do not care if we meet your needs. Stay away!

If you're going to practice medicine, know what you're doing!…read more I have a friend who, because of insurance reasons, had to get a referral to see a specialist for a knee injury. She had already had a emergency MRI (Not CT) and the name of the specialist she had seen in the past. She has HMO insurance (Not anymore!), which means you have to pick some random primary care doctor, but had never met Dr.Digerolamo. SO, 6 hours before seeing Dr.Digerolamo, she gets the MRI, a test thats very sensitive for not only fractures, muscle, tendon, and ligament tears, but its the best test to rule out blood clots (Better than ultrasound). She takes the MRI films and the report to her appointment with Dr.Digerolamo (she waited over an hour past her scheduled appointment). She finally gets into a room and this guy eventually comes in. He pokes on her knee, never looks at the MRI report, and says "Somebody has to drive you to the emergency room because you may have a blood clot in your leg." She calls a friend who knows medical stuff and he tells her to get out of that office immediately. That same friend tells her it would be almost impossible for the MRI to miss a blood clot. She picks another PCP and has to wait 10 days to get in with them (They were very nice and NOT late in seeing her). She waits another 7 days to get in to see the specialist. It should be noted that the specialist had an opening the next day after her appointment with Dr.Digerolamo! AVOID THIS DOCTOR. I don't know how the rest of the docs are in this practice but this person has not A CLUE what he's doing. How can you not know that a MRI will pick up a clot in the leg. AND FURTHERMORE, the radiology report told exactly what the problem was. Absolute idiot not fit to wear a lab coat.
