She is a nightmare, refuses to communicate with the parents unless you're there in person, there's nothing about our experience with this person that says she's genuinely concerned for the patient. If you need a school physical or vaccines any clinic will do, but if you want a doctor who cares about their patients, a front desk staff that doesn't get away with lying to parents and their boss William, run fast and far. Some doctors go above and beyond for the welfare of their patients, not Hoffert though! One issue you need their help with and you won't get a response from her or her front desk staff. We're pulling our 4 kids out of there ASAP. Good luck if you end up here, you'll need it.

I sat there for over 25 minutes until I heard janitorial staff emptying trash cans. When I looked outside my room, the work staff was gone & the lights were off! The janitor took me to her office. She gave a curt apology, said the appointment was "NOW" over and go get my referrals. She waived her hand at me as a dismissal and went back to typing as if I had interrupted her! I was LIVID. You don't treat patients like garbage or a nuisance it doesn't matter what your TITLE is. She made me feel like I was a waste of her time. This was a difficult procedure that greatly limited his motor functions and required rehabilitation. Unfortunately, while waiting for a rehabilitation bed placement, he was assigned to room 1105, where the nursing staff's treatment of him was deeply disappointing. He arrived on the floor on Thursday, September 4. On this day, he was left in bed and forced to eat with his neck brace on because the nursing staff would not respond to help remove it. The following morning, Friday, he was left sitting on the toilet for 45 minutes waiting for staff to return and assist him. That evening, he was told a rehabilitation bed had been secured, and from that point forward the care noticeably declined. The most troubling incident occurred that night. My father called me at 5:00 AM, stating that his night nurse, Temmy, had refused to give him his prescribed pain medication, telling him "you're going to rehab." My father was in pain, unable to move on his own, and left without proper care. In addition, a urinal cup placed by the bed had spilled into the bed, and when he called for help, no one came to assist him. I personally tried contacting the nurse on duty but was unable to reach her; eventually, I got in touch with the charge nurse, who assured me she would check on him. This experience was unacceptable. Patients in recovery, particularly elderly patients with limited mobility, deserve compassion, attentiveness, and dignity. Leaving a patient in pain, ignoring calls for help, and refusing medication is not only unprofessional but dangerous. I hope this feedback leads to improved accountability and training for the staff on floor 1105 so that no other patient or family has to endure this type of neglect.

(loh, Arain, shiv, Ebo) I liked Dr Ebo, he was the primary care for my family (except my mom) Fast forward they open their Dundalk location and now are a one stop shop, which is great. Scheduling appointments to see your treating physician is not easy, they dont have openings for weeks or when you call to make an appointment they want you to see their NPs. With that said, Charlie, the "nursse mgr" informed me that "Mace Medical has 20,000 patients and when he speaks he speaks for all the doctors there, if your not happy, find another provider" Charlie also proceeded with snark comments regarding my Jan. 25th 2025 visit with Dr. Ebo Yes, after 30 yrs of primary care, the Doctors there allow their staff to dismiss patients. Through their Healow app I requested a prescription refill to hold me over because I found a new doctor. Just like that, my refills were sent and they took away my access to their app, which was medical records and history needed for a new primary. If you're looking for a family friendly doctors office, this is no longer the place to go.
