After calling and requesting an initial interview with Robert Half (in Ontario, CA), and leaving 3 voicemails for the person they suggested I try to work with, I finally got one. The interviewer was 20 min late, after being reminded that I was waiting in the lobby for him, and the interview was very short. I was chastised for changing jobs many times over my career (I have moved a lot, and have been trying to find my job "home"). After a couple weeks, I reached out to him again and he stated he would not be able to help me, and I should check with Robert Half Legal, even though I told him I was NOT interested in a legal position any more. At the very end of that initial and only interview, he had Fatima of Office Team come in, who said she would be a great resource for me. I have tried calling her and emailing her many times. She has gotten back to me once with a phone call I missed and then returned, getting her VM, and with one email stating that she has not forgotten me and that I am "on her radar". However, I have not gotten a job, or even an interview with her, nor have I gotten the skills assessments she promised would be emailed to me as the first step in getting me a job. I have applied for many jobs I am more than qualified for (through the Office Team website) and have emailed Fatima with the reference numbers for each, stating that I would really appreciate an interview, and have gotten NO RESPONSE. I've also asked her several times what I can do to help move the process along. I am more than ready and willing to work (having moved here 2 months ago from Oregon), and am really having a hard time finding a job. I have worked with other staffing agencies (in Oregon and Wisconsin) and had good luck, and have heard great things about Office Team in those and other states, but have not experienced anything good about them here. read more

I never believed in employment agencies until I found Robert Half. I was so thrilled to have them start me as a temporary employee in a school/college setting. I was reluctant at first because I had a permanent job offer at the same time Robert Half wants me to start at this new temp assignment. I took the risk and fell in love with the people that I worked with. It was a my dream job and was exactly what I wanted to do. The assignment was only for a month and a half and got extended twice until there was an opportunity for me to apply for a permanent position. The staff Raven, Fatima and Carl were all so accommodating and were very helpful. I got paid on time every week and actually earlier than expected and I am just thankful that I went with Office Team. At first I had given such a good review since it was the beginning of my assignment . Now I'm dealing with unnecessary issues that are seriously a headache. Being single mother trying to provide for an infant is hard enough! Tried reaching out and couldn't even leave a voicemail. I reached out to corporate (since the branch was unable to answer my questions) and they said they were unable to help since "I wasn't on an assignment", last thing I knew I was only taking a short leave due to medical reasons. I'll start by saying one thing. This was by far the best experience I ever had with a staffing company. It all started when I got a call from Melissa, one of the recruiters from that Ontario branch, and she worked with me over time to find the right fit for me. It didn't happen overnight but I was already employed and looking for a better situation so I didn't have to rush into anything at the time. Melissa touched base with me regularly and when it was time to strike she had lined up two interviews with fantastic companies. The positions were both a match and I would have been happy with either one. I'm happy to say I did get an offer and have been happily working there for 5 months as I'm writing this. Melissa has even checked in after the fact showing that she really cares about the people she places in positions. In addition to her I also interacted with other staff and recruiters in the actual office and everyone there treated me with respect. Every time I called the office the people answering the phones were very upbeat and positive sounding. Like I said at the beginning... this was a very positive experience and I would absolutely recommend this office to anyone looking for work in the area. My experience with Office Team/Ontario has been one of disappointment. I called several times to set - up an appt. w/Richard Chow, who I had been referred to and was told that he was unavailable. So, I left messages, with the receptionist and received no returned calls. When I called again I was told that Richard was no longer with Office Team and that my call was being transferred to Judy Rosenberger. I left a message and called a couple of more times, leaving voice messages, all with no return call. After approx. one month, I called, yet again, and the receptionist said that, "Judy was unavailable and that she would connect me to her voice mail," at which time I shared my experience and the lack of responsiveness. I also inquired about contact info. for Office Team's corporate office. Within the hour I received a return call from Judy, at which time an appt. for an interview was made. When I went to the interview, I filled out paperwork and then waited in the reception area for the interview. When Judy entered the reception area she began a lengthy (at least 10 minute) in depth chat regarding personal business and shared that she had just placed her son on one of Office Team's assignments. At that point, I gave thought to the disregard of my time and the unprofessionalism and considered leaving. I then thought that the experience could rebound, so I gave it the benefit of the doubt and decided that I had come this far in the process, that I might as well stay and complete it. I stayed and interviewed with Judy, who conducted herself professionally and seemed impressed with my Resume, qualifications and interview. She shared that I would be receiving an email that would give me info. regarding assessments and online services of which I did not receive. After a few days, I called Judy inquiring about the email. I then received it without the log - in registration. I one again called the office and explained to the receptionist that I needed the online registration log - in and she transferred me to the dept. that would provide it. There was no answer and my call went to voice mail. I left a message and did not receive a return phone call. A day or so later, I called, yet again, this time sharing my experience and concern with Nicole and I received an immediate email response with a registration log-in. To date, I have yet to be contacted by Judy or any other Office Team representative for follow-up or employment opportunities. Update 12/27/15. So I had someone reach out to me to see if I would give them another chance. I did another interview with a different recruiter but same result. I understand how staffing agencies work and I don't expect a call every week or even a job right away but 6 months without an update is unacceptable. Maybe I just keep getting bad recruiters or they have too many clients but whatever the reason is I won't be going through them again. Zero stars if possible. read more

How ever, it is a waist of time to be signed with a agency if you have to find your jobs on your own that are never available not never!!... First I get asked to call for availability as well as a job that fits my experience on Office Team's Site. Fact # 1 I call to announce my availability and ask about a job that fits my experience I get told UNFORTUNATELY, THAT POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED, WE WILL MARK YOU DOWN AS AVAILABLE AND WILL GIVE YOU A CALL WHEN SOMETHING COMES IN. Lies Lies Lies Lies!!!!! Fact #2 How this is a lie and my time be wasted, and I never get a call. Why didn't I get a call when the job was available? Is Office Team trying to tell me for the last past almost three years that you had me in your system and with over 16 years in Customer Service , ALL CUSTOMER SERVICE experience and over five years of medical billing and collections, I do not qualify for these positions really? Final Fact that I know there is no contact at least with myself with this agency regarding employment. My husband is signed up with at least four different agencies that are not in the counties that are listed above, when he is out of work and he calls his agencies to let them know that he is available and mind you he only calls them all once, before the end of the day they all, this is no lie they ALL call him before the end of the day with a assignment my husband is never out of work for more than a week I didn't call because I did not want to drive more than 80 miles to work but with the failure of the agencies in the counties I mention above, I signed and called and within a week I was working this is so sad... This office is not helpful in my job search at all. I have spoken with four people and no one has gotten me an interview in 5 months even though they say I am "a class A candidate". Tia Berry started with the interview with me and quit and then another gentlemen took over and quit very soon after. I spoke with John Bridges their supposedly supervisor who told me sorry and he will work with me directly just send him my resume. I sent it within minutes of our call and never heard from him again. I called and spoke and interviewed again at their office with Ryan Holtz and I haven't heard back despite him telling me that I am a very good candidate. To sum it up: Very Poor service. read more

Started out really great. Was moved to this office from the Riverside Robert Half and was contacted by Brigitte Mendez. First few weeks I got 2 interviews. After that it became very difficult. Went over 5 months with no phone calls and when I was able to get in touch I was just told to email her. I emailed her every few days with the same I'll let you know responses, then those stopped and I'd get a response maybe once a week if I was lucky. I ended up finding a job on my own after completely giving up, I read these other reviews and think I was just unlucky getting Brigitte as my representative. Good luck to everyone hunting for jobs. The treatment and lack of not only respect, but professionalism, that I received today during my interview with this company was appalling. I was scheduled for an interview set for 9 am, due to an unforeseen phone call John Klosinski received, my interview was conducted at 10:15 am instead, a minor hiccup. As the interview began, I was made to not only feel embarrassed and ashamed, but uncomfortable and disrespected by the questions I was asked and the way Mr. Klosinski presented himself. Now, I am not sure how the company usually conducts itself, but one would hope it would be with much more compassion and professionalism. Putting aside the rude facial expressions and judgmental tones that he displayed towards me the entire interview, an individual could still have hopes that the interviewer may hold some professionalism within the questions they present one with. Today I was accused of forging parts of my job history and judged for how many places I have worked, and I was made to feel ashamed that I live on my own but without a job. If all of those things weren't unprofessional enough, Mr. Klosinski then proceeded to tell me that next time I interview somewhere I need to do something better with my hair. To say that this statement was not only uncalled for but entirely unprofessional is an understatement. If your company is going to employ individuals such as this gentlemen and allow him to treat possible candidates for future employment in this manner then this is not an establishment I would wish to have any assistance in my job search from. I would hope in your future that future candidates do not receive this form of disrespect and unprofessional mannerisms. read more

I contacted Robert Half sometime in September or October 2013 because I had been applying to jobs like crazy and was receiving no calls. I met with Stacy Lett after seeing some positions she had posted online. She got back to me quickly and by the end of the month she had scheduled one interview for me. The position however was not for me and both the interviewer and I agreed. Stacy continued to forward me emails of positions she thought I might be interested in. We had been having no luck due to my experience, most companies were not willing to interview me even with a Masters degree. Then in January 2014, Stacy emailed me about a position that she was able to secure an interview for me. She made me feel like I could handle any interview and that I was good enough for that job. She told me the hiring managers were impressed with my resume and that made me feel good. I had one interview and then was called for a second interview. About a week after my first interview I was offered the position. I couldn't have been any happier. Stacy believed in my potential, she knew what type of job I could take on and be successful in. This staffing agency obviously does not care at all about its potential patrons. I went into the office and was told I had to contact an appropriate person to schedule an appointment - fair enough. I emailed the person to whom I was referred, and after a week of waiting without a response, I called and left a voicemail. I have since called again, leaving another message. It has now been close to a month, and the agency has yet made no attempt to return correspondence. What kind of business blatantly ignores clients/customers? I went to interview with recruiter discussed type of jobs I would like and pay. 2 week after interview called as didn't hear from recruiter found out moved to another area. Then replacement recruiter wanted to meet with me. Another 2 weeks go by nothing. Then get another recruiter. Emails go unanswered, phone calls unanswered. Then if you are lucky will call with a Temp position and get hopes up and then nothing no follow through. After 7 mos. Now another recruiter and not once did I get a offer. Ridiculous! read more

I believe this company takes advantage of people in need of work. They do nothing to try to help you. I worked with two women neither one of them would return my calls or emails I finally gave up. They made no effort in assisting me.
