Two friends have both had luck with RH. And I say luck because it is sure not normal. Gretchen called me on Thursday, Jan. 23. Told me that she was forwarding my resume onto a couple of her colleagues as well and should be hearing from them next week. That next week came and went with not a peep from anyone at Robert Half. Called the Monday after, took almost 4 minutes for someone to pick up. And then had to leave a voicemail for Gretchen. She did not return. So tried her again on Wednesday... (side note: who ever answers the phones should never answer the phones) shocking voicemail again. It is now Thursday and 2 weeks since Gretchen initially called me and not a single peep from anyone at Robert Half. I understand my background is niche but take my skills & qualifications and utilize those in your pitch. Or call and get to know a bit about me to help too. Absolutely do not recommend Robert Half. They want easy clients, so they can just hand over your resume and collect the commission. You're better off submitting directly to companies and at least get a higher rate rather than low balled due to the commission the company would have to pay RH. read more

Not a fan of this outfit. They called about a $15/hr gig in South Central. I was desperate, so I went. Follow up by Jenn was minimal. Some creep who said he "went way back" with my boss kept telling me "we already told you that" when I had a question. Turned out the creep had only graduated college recently, so could not have had a professional relationship that "went way back". They all try to control any conversation by dangling your job over your head. "If you don't take this job, you might ever qualify for unemployment". Typical for these bottom feeders. Van and Creep actually came to see my boss at work. They walked right by me and totally ignored me. The meeting ended and they walked right out the door, not even looking me in the eye or saying "Hello, Meatbag". The actual job involved some business practices that seemed very unethical, borderline legal, so eventually I quit. What's with all the five stars? Not at all fishy. read more

So i have been looking for entry level job in Human Resource and came across Roberthalf/ Office Team, El Segundo. I contacted them. First person i got to speak with was Elizabeth, she gave me her gmail address, i emailed my resume to her. After waiting for 2 days, again i called office team, she was in meeting. Then called again, she said i dont have any gmail address, please send your resume to office team email address. So i emailed my resume to her new email address. Then, recieved one email next day regarding availability of accounting related job. I emailed her my updated resume for that post. Did not recieved any response for one week. Emailed her , no response. So finally called her. She was in meeting, as usual. So left her voice message. Still no response. Called her next week again. Call receptionost told me, same, she is in meeting. This time i thought, its their way to avoid a candidate. I asked the women on the call, how come she always in meeting? Call got disconnected. I called again immediately, told my name, ask for elizabeth, i said i want to talk to her, as i am not getting responses to my email and voice messages. Phone got disconnected. I called again, asked the lady why are you disconnecting the call, she replied, there is some problem with our phone. Really?? Again disconnected . I called 5 times on the same day. On the last call, i saod this is how Office Team works? She finally said, you can call another office. If office team has a call recording system, pls check your records for 24th jan,2018. 12.15 pm. El segundo office, CA. I called 5 times. This is really disrespectful, rude and what not behaviour of office team employees towards candidates. I mean if you are not sure that you will be able to help candidate, just let them know. Dont ignore them and waste anyones time. After all this drama, when i sent an email to elizabeth about everything what happend and about me writing a review on every possible website, got immediate CALL from her. She was in meeting, right? How did she called me so fast? It all happened in 10 to 15 min. I have Masters in HR, with all other certifications and looking for entry level job. And just wanted to ask her, other than my resume, if she need some more details about my qualificayion or something. But all went wrong. As a new immigrant with good credentials from my home country, I found it hard to apply for jobs here. I posted to several job sites with no callbacks until one of the recruiters from OfficeTeam called me and forwarded me to my now superstellar agent, Maritza. She sent me to a job interview a week after she assessed me! I was actually hired by that big company right on the spot! However, due to my pending intl background check back then that took more than 2 weeks, I was told that they don't need me for the job anymore. I was devastated when Maritza informed me. 10 months of job hunting and now I was at a dead end again. But you know what Maritza did? I signed up with them approximately two years ago, after the company I worked for went out of business. My background was as an Executive Assist. to two corporate President/CEO's who provided excellent references for me. During my test process the receptionist set the lighting in the test room to automatic. The lights WENT OUT in the middle of my typing test! BUT She didn't think it was important! AND didn't want to restart the test. That should have been my first clue of what to expect from them. Fortunately my scores were fine as my typing speed is normally over 80wpm so my final score was acceptable. After going through their group interview and the screening process (references, etc.) I only heard from them once in a blue moon. Fortunately, the other agency I signed with, has kept me working consistently. I believe the reason Office Team calls me at all is to find out where I am working so they can use it as a lead for an employer/company that might be actively hiring temporary staff. They have yet to provide me with any employment opportunities or send me on a single interview. I have since stopped giving them information on my status and have asked to be removed from their roster. They might have been a premiere agency once, but I have found them to be extremely unprofessional, providing zero employment opportunities.. absolutely useless in terms of job placement. read more

Unfortunately after a couple of months the assignment didn't work out. I just knew that was it for me and office team and they would not send me out on any more assignments. Boy was I wrong!! Yasoca replied to all my "keep me in mind" emails and within a couple months they have sent me out on another assignment which seems to be a great match for me. I've been with accountemps for about a year. My initial recruiter moved positions so I was then placed with Jonathan and Jenna. I work as a tax professional but once tax season was about to be over I called accountemps in the hopes of finding a job that would replace preparing taxes after the April 15th deadline. Well, after a week or so of letting them know I started getting several offers and I had at least one job lined up for after taxes. Jenna was awesome at finding me the current position that I'm at in a great office with friendly people! Jonathan was then instrumental in finding me my (current) second position which again is at a great office to work at. Both Jenna and Jonathan have been great at following up with me to see how the jobs are going. Jonathan and I are in contact on a weekly basis and he even dropped by my office today (the office is a few min away from accountemps) to say hello!
