The head Doctor (Dr. H), who was spearheading my treatment, was very concerned with my decision to switch facilities since he had recommended the 1st facility and did not know any of the new team members treating me. Why is this important? Because Dr. H is like a family member and has been taking care of me for almost 20 years. He wanted to make sure that I got the best treatment/surgery as if I were his blood relative. Moving forward, when Dr. H saw me for a follow-up and saw Dr. Andrade's work, he was extremely pleased and praised Dr. Andrade's surgery. His words regarding Dr. Andrade were: "He takes pride in what he does. He's done a wonderful job!" I think that the recognition of a Senior professional speaks volumes about Dr. Andrade. Close relatives who have had a similar surgery have been pleasantly surprised at how beautifully the scar has healed, thanks to Dr. Andrade. Since everything happened so quickly due to the nature and timeline of what I needed to get done, I only met Dr. Andrade twice before the surgery. The 1st time was for the initial consultation and again the day of the surgery. He was reassuring, compassionate, and attentive to my needs, elements that lacked where I was getting treated. The PA was very informative and nice. Unfortunately she did not identify herself as a PA, just as Jacqueline Levine. They were going to charge me over $100 for simple skin tag removals which I needed to schedule at another visit. I decided i better seek out another dermatologist. Luckily, I did. I explained I was very nervous and was told not to worry that I would be given something on that day to keep.me calm. The first surgery for the right eye lens removal by laser was June 17th, 2025. After I had the anestholigist put in the intravenous she went to.lunch leaving me on my own scared ro death. With Dr Kung telling me to.man up in other words and to cal. Down or get off the table. Somehow I got thru it and the lens was removed. 2 weeks later on July 1st almost the same scenario and only after my prtests did Dr Kung give him something to calm him down. Then I was ok and lens put in all done. Within a month I could see better and eventually drive without glasses. Here's what's bothering me, in the past 6 months I have e been back to the office many times for followips by DrCampbell a phenomenal Dr with a great bedside manner. However in that 6 months I have never seen not even once Dr Kung asking me how I was doing or feeling. That's just not right even a phone call to check on my progress would have sufficed.
