This doctor is reckless and ruined my looks several years ago. I was looking into a facelift for…read morejowling and NLB folds around the mouth. In hindsight, and certainly in the current trend of ps where less invasive is preferred, I only needed fillers or at the most, a mini-lift. I saw Dr Muller who suggested a necklift (this would be the only way to take care of the jowls) along w/the facelift to take care of my issues. He was very nice and I felt comfortable w/him. He gently pressed my face back in front of my ears and said that would be my result (looks great..everyone looks great when you do that). He reassured me at every turn, that he could give me what I wanted and I would love the results and never once gave a moments doubt or hesitation (red flag). Complications, scarring, etc were barely mentioned if not downplayed because I was young, healthy and had good skin--I put myself completely in his hands, trusting he was the 'expert'...In retrospect, this was the beginning of a never ending nightmare. Afterwards, as I healed, my face looked unnatural and distorted because, in reality, I was too young (under 40)for such an invasive procedure (face/necklift). I looked nothing like we had discussed on numerous occasions because he ended up pulling me too much-- I had seen him AT LEAST four times prior to having the surgery so I could be certain we were on the same page (this IS major surgery) and each and every time he reassured me he knew exactly what I wanted (and didn't want) and that he could do it, without hesitation. So I was completely shocked when my face ended up distorted, unnatural and permanently 'different' (for the worse). In reality, his work was not tailored for me and my face, he just dove in cutting, and pulling too aggressively. I had an infection post surgery on my right ear, my earlobes are small and he said he had a hard time reattaching it. What? Apparently, he just roughly 'manhandled it' back onto my face. He is a FACIAL plastic surgeon, yet doesn't possess the fine, delicate skill required? OMG, what had I done? The infection caused major swelling which pulled on the sutures and left unsightly wide, white, 'train track' scars around my ear and up my neck. I can't wear my hair up and use heavy foundation in frt of my ears. But even worse was my balanced face was now squarish, shorter and too wide. my cheek contour was gone..just a wide, solid midface, shaped like an egg. Fullness all around made my eyes look small and odd. This, I learned, can't be fixed. His answer was 'he yanked me pretty hard'...and he couldn't put it back. I was sick. My features are permanently altered. I was attractive, but have looked terrible ever since. I have regretted this every day as I'm constantly reminded when I look in the mirror or out in public. It is still a shock. Looking back, I see all the mistakes I overlooked being so trusting; Dr muller did not take any preop or postop pictures, ever. The morning of my surgery, he did not 'draw' on my face --he spent about a minute w/me telling me how great I would look. He looked at each side of my face, I guess he was making 'mental landmarks' above my ears. I naively thought he must REALLY be an expert since he didn't have to mark me. In reality, he was simply arrogant, careless, and lazy, and gave me sloppy cookie cutter surgery--he tells you what you want to hear and doesn't take his work or the patient seriously. I discovered this too late. I need a complete revision. I was a 'teachable moment' for one plastic surgeon during a consult. He was mentoring a new dr and was able to show him firsthand the results of sloppy, aggressive, incompetent surgery with my pixie ears, ear scarring, incomplete neck work and overall bad aesthetic result. Revision work is much more complicated than first time surgery and thorough surgical notes are valuable for another surgeon. Dr Muller had about a paragraph w/little detail and nothing useful. Do your homework and be very careful who you trust, and keep your money and RUN AWAY from this doctor. I wish I had.

Dr. Roith came across as a very experienced and calm doctor who genuinely cares about all his patients with an great, caring, and a little jovial bedside manner. I went to my appointment with the thought of removing the toenail, as per all the previous doctors I had shown it to - NP, PCP and even Dermatologists and he made me feel at ease and told me not to worry, and that we will work on it with his treatment (so practical and easy to follow) to eradicate the issue. I left the appointment feeling confident and worry free. The staff was very sweet and guided me well. The clinic was clean and organized. Highly recommended!

I went to my primary care physician and another podiatrist and received unsatisfactory recommendations. I was then referred to Dr. Roith and immediately appreciated the way he looked for and addressed the "root cause" of my foot pain and developed a surgical plan accordingly, as a final resort. That foot surgery was nothing short of life-changing. Now in my twenties, I am living a very active, pain-free life, and am able to do all things I missed out on as a teenager due to foot pain. So grateful for Dr. Roith and this practice!

Dr. Hummel first did arthroscopic meniscus repair on each of my knees. A couple of years later,…read moredue to severe arthritis, I had to get total knee replacements done. I would not have gone to any other ortho doctor for the TKR, even though I did seek a second opinion because I was hoping I wouldn't need knee replacements yet. The second Dr said the same thing, so I scheduled theTKR with Dr. Hummel. He did the right knee at the end of October. I did the therapy and exercises, and regained full range of motion by my 9 week checkup. The left knee was done at the end of February, with similar, excellent results. Dr. Hummel is very specific about what he wants you to do to heal. But if you follow his instructions, you get the best results. I don't hesitate to recommend him highly.

At the appointment I was told while checking in " that will be $50.00 for your copay" . I replied "I'm sorry no one told me that I only have 45.00". The nurse then said " we will have to re schedule you when you can pay". I did. Miffed that they would miss out on my insurance payment over 5.00. After returning for my appointment a week later. I saw dr Hummel. He introduced himself without looking me in the eye and said " what is it you want from me?" Shocked at the kirt treatment I said" I'm not a surgeon I don't know". No questions were asked. I was x-rayed and Dr. Hummel returned. "I see you are addicted to pain pills." He says. I reply" I'm dependent on them I have chronic pain and need them to function.". He then snaps back with "that's what all addicts say". He then proceeds to give me a list of five things I need to do , such as quit the pain pills, quit my job, loose 30 pounds, start water therapy, and something else. Then I was to return in thirty days and if I had made good progress on list then he would decide if he would treat me. I now thank him for being such bad people person because I found the absolute best surgeon. After getting over being scolded by some one who didn't know me or even take anytime to try I found Dr. who said "you are hurting let's get you fixed."
