I was surprised at how easy it was to set up a new appointment. I have been a few times now and here are some of my favorite things about this practice. 1. Its clean, comfortable and wait times are never long. It helps that HGTV is usually on in the lobby because I don't get to watch it at home! 2. I get the same hygienist every time. I've been three times and had the same lady clean my teeth. I really like her. I am not sure if this is intentional or a coincidence but it makes me feel more at ease knowing what to expect and by who. 3. The text message reminders! Part of my issue with getting my teeth regularly cleaned was scheduling it. I would always forget and was never comfortable scheduling in advance because I HATE cancelling appointments and my employment can be unpredictable. They text and remind me of upcoming appointments a week in advance, giving me time to adjust if needed. I highly encourage people to check them out. They also offer sedation for people who need that for their dental visits.

I have had them worked on many times. But this time? They made the shape all wrong, and the worst part? They could not find a bonding color to match my surrounding teeth. So here I still am with 2 yellow front teeth. Dr. said my teeth were "too white"! Having this procedure is painful and even though I need to fix it, I'm scared. I used to smile all the time. Since this chair side veneer (basically a bonding) by Edgewood Dental, I do not smile or show my teeth anymore. They can't know how much that procedure made my daily life so much different, and sad.

After it was all removed, the gaping hole was sutured back together & I was told to go home & take some Advil & Tylenol. Lol, SERIOUSLY??? I guess I should just be happy they used novacain to numb me, because it looks like they don't believe I feel pain. I should be happy they didn't just give me a shot of whiskey & pull out the pliers!

There were 3 people holding him down by his head, hair, and arms while he was screaming getting his teeth ripped out of his head. He could hear the teeth breaking in his head! He was being screamed at to keep his legs still as they were going everywhere from the pain. The dr knew he wasn't sedated because after the surgery his dr told him to get and and go sit in the wheelchair. He got up and walked. He is traumatized and we are currently looking for a therapist and filing a complaint with the hospital but that's not enough. This dr should never be allowed to do this again. Also I had asked the front desk lady how much husband was doing after she had been away from the desk for about 15 min... she told me she didn't know cause she was in the bathroom... later found out she was one of the people hold him down!!! There was no recovery like I was told there would be. They just wheeled him to the waiting room blood still coming out of his mouth no post surgery instructions. And no questions could be asked because the Hightailed in back behind the door as he is trying to tell me what he just went through.

MONEY-GRUBBING DENTAL PRACTICE Have you ever been "fired" by…read moreyour dentist? That is what happened to me by the money-hungry Natalie Lawson who bought Karl Lutes' dental practice. I'm in shock. Karl Lutes was my dentist for 30+ years, and his father before him. The last few visits, the practice kept trying to steer me to Natalie and a dental hygienist other than Michelle, who was there for 20 years (and no longer). Due to schedule constraints I worked in an appointment last month, I was surprised by a new hygienist and Natalie. I'm 70 years old. I know my teeth. I know what dental services I want. When I squeezed in an appointment in my busy travel schedule, I wanted a teeth cleaning and a checkup. NO! I told the hygienist to skip the expensive x-rays and proceed with the cleaning. She ran and got Natalie who said she wouldn't treat me unless I had the big-dollar x-rays before. I said, "NO", and she said, "Then I'll walk you out to the front." Imagine my shock after 30+ years with the same practice. I was fired as a patient. Ironically, Natalie's money-grubbing practice of demanding x-rays is in contravention of established good dental practice. Current ADA guidelines call for dental X-rays to be performed only after a dentist has peered into a patient's mouth, not before, and only if there is a suspected issue are X-rays to be taken. I know Karl's practice was a good one and she has to pay big dollars for it, but I'm not going to subsidize her and, if I were you and your wallet, I would avoid her at all costs (because it WILL COST you).

Really like the friendly staff here and the personalized patient experience. The appointments tend…read moreto run pretty long --45-50 minutes for a cleaning--and the office itself isn't the most modern, but it's a great experience for a low key approach to dentistry.
